“The Notorious” Conor McGregor made MMA history on November 12th by becoming the first man to simultaneously hold two UFC championship titles. The reigning featherweight king knocked out Eddie Alvarez in the night’s one-sided main event to become the new UFC Lightweight Champion.

Also at UFC 205, Joanna Jędrzejczyk retained her strawweight title and her spot atop the 115-pound rankings with a hard-fought victory over Karolina Kowalkiewicz. Bantamweight rising star Raquel “Rocky” Pennington upset former UFC champion Miesha “Cupcake” Tate, who abruptly retired.
