Former Deep Jewels champ Seo Hee Ham captured another major title with a dominant win tonight at Road Fighting Championship 39 in Seoul, South Korea. Ham stopped current Deep Jewels titleholder Mina Kurobe in round three to become the inaugural Road FC Women’s Atomweight Champion.
Tonight’s main-event victory got Ham back on track in a big way following a pair of controversial decision defeats at 115 pounds in the UFC. Returning to her natural weight class, Ham outstruck Kurobe on the feet tonight before finishing the veteran off with ground and pound late in the final round.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Claudia “Claudinha” Gadelha solidified her spot as the second-best female strawweight in MMA with a quick and impressive victory tonight at UFC 212: “Aldo vs Holloway” in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Gadelha submitted Karolina Kowalkiewicz with a first-round rear-naked choke.

Krush kickboxing champion Syuri Kondo captured her first mixed martial arts title in impressive fashion tonight at Pancrase 287 in Tokyo, Japan. Kondo remained unbeaten by defeating Brazilian standout Kinberly Novaes in the co-main event to become the Strawweight Queen of Pancrase.
Novaes’s best success came in the opening round, but Kondo wore her down with dozens of knees as the fight progressed and she cruised to a clear-cut decision win. Elsewhere, Ayaka Miura submitted Thaiane Souza, but the bout was ruled a No Contest due to Miura missing weight.
