Alexis Davis vs Jessica Eye Added To UFC 170 Card In FebruaryA second women’s bout has now been added to the UFC 170: “Rousey vs McMann” card, which takes place on February 22nd in Las Vegas, Nevada. Highly-touted jiu-jitsu black belt Alexis “Ally-Gator” Davis faces fast-rising star Jessica “Evil” Eye in a featured bantamweight contender’s matchup.

UFC officials announced the fight on Monday night. Davis has won seven of her past eight fights and she sports a perfect 2-0 record inside the UFC. Eye made a big statement in her Octagon debut in October by outpointing former Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion Sarah Kaufman at UFC 166.

Mika Nagano Retires, New Fights Added To Deep Jewels 3 CardJapanese star Mika “Future Princess” Nagano has confirmed plans for her retirement from mixed martial arts in early 2014. Nagano is the latest in a string of recent retirees and she will compete in a final exhibition match at Deep Jewels 3 on February 16th in Tokyo. The news was announced today.

Rena Kubota, Mio Tsumura Earn Wins At Shoot Boxing In OsakaOn Monday night, three-time Shoot Boxing Girls S-Cup Champion Rena Kubota picked up her eighth straight win at Shoot Boxing 2013: “Tomohiro Oikawa Retirement Event” in Osaka, Japan. Kubota stopped short-notice replacement opponent Yuri Kim in the late stages of the opening round.
