Deep Jewels Featherweight Champion Seo Hee Ham will make the next defence of her title against a familiar foe at Deep Jewels 6 on November 3rd in Tokyo, Japan. The South Korean standout faces off against top Japanese star Saori “Shooting Star” Ishioka for a third time in a three-round title fight.
Deep Jewels officials announced the championship bout today. Ham has won five straight fights and she currently reigns supreme atop the Deep Jewels 106-pound featherweight division. Ishioka returned to action with an impressive victory over Satomi “Sarami” Takano at Deep Jewels 4 in May.

UFC Bantamweight Champion T.J. Dillashaw overcame an ultra short-notice opponent change and successfully retained his title on August 30th at UFC 177 in Sacramento, California. Dillashaw stopped Joe “One Bad Mofo” Soto in the fifth round and he remains atop the 135-pound men’s rankings.
Elsewhere in August, Rafael dos Anjos took a big step up the lightweight ladder by knocking out former UFC champion “Smooth” Benson Henderson. Mizuki Inoue captured the Deep Jewels Lightweight Championship, and both Sara McMann and Bethe “Pitbull” Correia earned key UFC victories.

Kickboxing star Su Jeong “Beautiful Fighter” Lim makes her mixed martial arts debut on September 12th at Revolution 2: “Start of the Revolution” in Seoul, South Korea. Lim faces off against fellow MMA debutant Emiko “Fujin” Raika, one of Japan’s most decorated female boxing champions.
The striker versus striker matchup was officially announced this past week. Lim is one of South Korea’s most well-known female kickboxers and she holds a key victory over four-time Shoot Boxing Girls S-Cup Champion Rena Kubota. Raika has captured five titles during her storied boxing career.

Brazilian rising star Bethe “Pitbull” Correia kept her undefeated record intact with an impressive stoppage victory tonight at UFC 177: “Dillashaw vs Soto” in Sacramento, California. The talented bantamweight contender finished veteran Shayna “The Queen of Spades” Baszler on tonight’s main card.
Baszler got off to a strong start in the opening round of the fight and she showcased her slick grappling skills on the mat. Correia rallied in round two, however, and she battered Baszler with dozens of unanswered punches on the feet until the bout was waved off, giving Correia another big victory.
