WPMF Women’s Pinweight Champion Saya Ito makes the next defence of her title on March 21st at Suk Weerasakreck 12 in Tokyo, Japan. Ito is set to compete in a rematch against Ayaka “Little Tiger” Miyauchi, whom she defeated for the prestigious championship in late September.
Ito, who turned 17 earlier this month, announced the championship fight today. The 13-year veteran has won ten straight fights and most recently knocked out Thai champion Rojana in December. Miyauchi suffered a shocking decision loss to Kai-Ting “Kill Bee” Zhuang this past weekend.

Fresh off of her Invicta FC 15 victory this past weekend, Deep Jewels Strawweight Champion Mizuki Inoue is set to compete again on March 6th at Deep Jewels 11 in Tokyo, Japan. Inoue faces off against highly-touted striker Nori Date in one of six new matchups announced for the card today.
Also confirmed for the March event is an atomweight bout between Inoue’s Hakushinkai teammate, J-Girls and Shoot Boxing champ Yukari Yamaguchi, and Hana Date, who won her Deep Jewels debut in November. In other 48kg action, title contender Mina Kurobe takes on newcomer Renju Date.

Former Deep Jewels champion Seo Hee Ham looks to make it two in a row inside the Octagon when she returns to action on March 20th at UFC Fight Night 85: “Hunt vs Mir” in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Ham is set to face off against hometown star “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings at 115 pounds.
UFC officials confirmed plans for the strawweight matchup today following an initial report from the Brisbane Times. Ham and Rawlings were initially set to meet at UFC Fight Night 65 in May, but Ham was forced to withdraw due to a nasal fracture and Rawlings submitted late replacement Lisa Ellis.

UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk makes the next defence of her title on July 8th at The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jędrzejczyk is set to face off against Claudia “Claudinha” Gadelha in a rematch from the pair’s first fight in December 2014.
Jędrzejczyk and Gadelha will first serve as opposing coaches on TUF 23, which features two teams composed of female strawweights and male light heavyweights. The latest season of the long-running show will premiere on April 20th and culminates with Jędrzejczyk and Gadelha headlining in July.

Australian featherweight Megan Anderson picked up her first Invicta FC victory in an entertaining battle tonight at Invicta Fighting Championships 15 in Costa Mesa, California. Anderson finished Amber Leibrock in round three of the Invicta FC 15 Fight of the Night, and both claimed $1500 bonuses.
