Naoki Hirata vs Shinsuke Kamei

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Shinji Shimamura. Kamei throws a head kick that is blocked and he lands a body kick. Hirata takes him down and Kamei sits up and punches the side of Hirata’s head. Hirata pulls Kamei away from the cage and mounts him. Kamei manages to get a leg in and gets back to half-guard, but Hirata passes to side control. Kamei regains half-guard again and stands up, then fights free from a Hirata guillotine choke. Kamei attempts a single-leg takedown and Hirata counters with another guillotine before the end of the round.

Round 2:
Kamei opens the second round with a front kick and a body kick. He throws an elbow, but Hirata counters with a double-leg takedown. Kamei looks to set up an armbar from the bottom and he throws palm strikes to the side of Hirata’s head. Hirata passes to side control and then to mount. Kamei gives up his back and Hirata retains back control during the final minute.

Round 3:
In the final round, Kamei lands a right cross and throws a head kick that Hirata blocks. Hirata counters a body kick with an osotogari throw and he works from Kamei’s open guard. Kamei again throws palm strikes to the side of Hirata’s head and tries to work his way to the cage, but Hirata takes his back and threatens with a late rear-naked choke.

Winner: Naoki Hirata by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 7-2-0.

 

Ryogo “Kaitai” Takahashi vs Sang Won “No Problem” Kim

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Ryogaku Wada. Kim lands a leg kick and blocks a head kick. He lands a right-left combo and Takahashi responds with a right cross. Kim lands a leg kick and Takahashi misses with a head kick attempt. Kim mixes up his strikes with jabs and leg kicks, then clinches. Takahashi heel kicks the back of Kim’s thigh.

Round 2:
Kim jabs again and Takahashi lands a right hook and a leg kick. He throws more kicks to Kim’s lead leg and body. More leg kicks are exchanged and Kim jabs. Takahashi connects with a right hook and the fighters trade leg kicks. Takahashi lands a body kick and one more leg kick before the bell.

Round 3:
Time is immediately called and the doctor checks on Takahashi’s swollen eye. The bout is waved off and it is determined that the eye injury occurred as a result of an accidental clash of heads early in the fight. The fight therefore goes to the scorecards.

Result: Technical Split Draw (30-28, 29-29, 28-30) at 0:01 of round three. Takahashi moves to 14-7-1, while Kim is now 11-6-2.

 

Ryo Asami vs Yuito Yanagawa

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Hidenobu Koike. The fighters exchange leg kicks and Yanagawa stuffs a takedown attempt. He knees Asami’s leg in a clinch and takes him down with a harai goshi throw, but Asami immediately stands up. Both men miss with flying knee attempts and Yanagawa drops Asami with a right hook. Asami gets back to his feet and both fighters miss with right hands.

Round 2:
Asami counters a right hook from Yanagawa by taking his back in a standing clinch. Yanagawa tries to roll for a leg lock and then gets back to his feet. Asami presses forward with punches and Yanagawa takes him down. Asami stands and separates from a clinch, then lands a spinning back elbow. Yanagawa loses his balance and Asami takes him down, but Yanagawa reverses and secures back control. Asami eventually turns over and gets to his feet, and the round ends with Yanagawa landing a knee to the body.

Round 3:
Yanagawa lifts Asami up and Asami counters with an armbar as the fighters hit the ground, which forces Yanagawa to quickly tap out.

Winner: Ryo Asami by Submission (Armbar) at 0:33 of round three. He improves to 12-12-0, 1 NC.

 

Muhammad Salohidinov vs Toki Matsui

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Hirokazu Takamoto. Matsui fights off three takedown attempts and Salohidinov lands a left hook as the fighters briefly separate. He tries again to take Matsui down and Matsui stays on his feet. Matsui lands knees and an uppercut. Salohidinov misses with a head kick attempt after the fighters break apart and he finally takes Matsui down. Matsui stands back up and Salohidinov briefly holds his back. He takes Matsui down once more, than stands over him and kicks at his legs.

Round 2:
Matsui opens the second round with leg kicks and Salohidinov takes him down. Matsui sits up against the cage and gets to his feet. Salohidinov lands a backfist and the fighters trade punches. Matsui lands a body kick and sprawls out of two takedown attempts from Salohidinov, but he is stuck on the defensive.

Round 3:
Matsui lands a body kick and Salohidinov responds with a takedown. He moves to Matsui’s back, but Matsui shakes him off. Back on the feet, Matsui counters a takedown attempt with a guillotine choke. Salohidinov frees his neck and scores brief takedowns, but Matsui stands each time. Matsui lands a knee to the body, but Salohidinov takes him down and keeps him there until the end of the fight.

Winner: Muhammad Salohidinov by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 2-0-0.

 

Wataru Miki vs Yuki “Sora” Kondo

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Yoshinori Umeki. Miki counters a Kondo right hook with a takedown and moves to half-guard. He throws shoulder strikes to Kondo’s face and then hammerfists. Kondo holds on to prevent Miki from posturing up, but Miki creates enough space to land short elbows and punches before the bell.

Round 2:
Miki takes Kondo down into full guard and the fighters trade elbows on the ground. Miki stands, then drops back down with a right hand and passes to side control. Kondo gets back to half-guard and Miki lands hammerfists. He continues to strike with hammerfists and elbows while avoiding a Kondo guillotine choke attempt.

Round 3:
Kondo misses with right hooks and Miki takes him down. He takes Kondo’s back and prevents Kondo from shaking him off. Miki winds up in Kondo’s open guard after a scramble and he lands punches and elbows until Kondo eventually sweeps. Miki gets back to his feet and the fight comes to an end soon after.

Winner: Wataru Miki by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 23-14-6.

 

Ryo Tajima vs Kunihisa Sasa

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Kosuke Umeda. Tajima clinches after landing a jab and briefly takes Sasa down. Sasa stands and Tajima lands a few knees to his head during another clinch. The fighters are separated and Sasa lands a body kick. He stuffs a takedown, but Tajima connects with a right-left combo. Sasa scores a takedown and Tajima holds him in a seated guillotine choke.

Round 2:
Sasa scores an early takedown in the second round, but Tajima sweeps and takes top position. The fighters stand and Sasa throws knees while holding Tajima in a front headlock. Tajima counters with punches in close and then attempts a single-leg takedown. Sasa sprawls and tries for a takedown of his own, but he can only get Tajima down to a seated position against the cage.

Round 3:
Sasa has early success with straight left and right hands, then scores with a left hook. He throws a knee, but Tajima catches it and tries to take Sasa down. Sasa sprawls and the fighters battle in a clinch until Sasa trips Tajima and Tajima sits up against the cage. He gets to his feet and attempts a guillotine choke. Sasa escapes and lands a left hook and a knee.

Winner: Ryo Tajima by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 8-2-0.

 

Shogo Sato vs Takahiro Kawanaka

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Hirokazu Takamoto. Sato lands an early right hook and sprawls out of a Kawanaka takedown attempt. He drops Kawanaka with a left-right combo and follows with more punches as a dazed Kawanaka tries to stand up, and the fight is waved off.

Winner: Shogo Sato by TKO (Punches) at 1:22 of round one. He improves to 3-0-0.

 

Genta Shindo vs Misaki Umehara

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Motohiro Tsuruwa. Shindo holds Umehara in an early front choke, but Umehara escapes and Shindo takes his back during a scramble. He locks on a rear-naked choke and Umehara taps out.
