Faria submitted Argentinian prospect Laura Balin in the main event, while Tibúrcio outpointed Aline Sattelmayer in a featured main card matchup.

MMA Super Heroes 3 also included a one-night women’s strawweight tournament. Newcomer Renata Baldan outlasted two opponents to win the 115-pound grand prix. At Fatality Arena 6 in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Vanessa Porto and Aline “Hannibal” Sério were victorious on the main card.

Jessica Aguilar vs Emi Fujino Title Bout In The Works For WSOF 10WSOF Women’s Strawweight Champion Jessica “Jag” Aguilar is expected to make the first defence of her title against veteran Japanese contender Emi “Kamikaze Angel” Fujino at World Series of Fighting 10. The event is set for June 21st at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

MMARising.com confirmed plans for the championship fight tonight with Fujino’s manager, Shu Hirata. Aguilar became WSOF’s inaugural female champion in January when she submitted the previously unbeaten Alida Gray. Her targeted opponent, Fujino, has won four of her past six fights.

Gina Iniong Edges Out Mei Yamaguchi In PXC 43 Co-FeatureGina “Conviction” Iniong made it two-for-two inside the PXC cage with her biggest win to date tonight at Pacific Xtreme Combat 43 in Pasig City, Philippines. The Filipina standout earned a close and highly competitive Split Decision win over former Valkyrie champion “V.V” Mei Yamaguchi.

Iniong and Yamaguchi were initially slated to face off in an atomweight bout on the card, but Iniong came in slightly overweight for the fight, which was then changed to a 107-pound catchweight. Iniong’s striking and impressive takedowns propelled her to a narrow decision victory on the scorecards.

The 15-year-old “Muay Thai Genius” is set to face off against once-beaten South Korean prospect Hye-Young Park in a five-round bout on the event’s featured main card.

Ito is one of Japan’s most decorated female kickboxers and she has captured numerous titles during her 11-year career that dates back to the young age of four. The 93-fight veteran now makes her domestic pro debut against Park, who brings an impressive record into her first fight in Japan.

Shizuka Sugiyama vs Takayo Hashi Set For Deep Jewels 4Japanese star Shizuka Sugiyama and former Strikeforce title challenger Takayo Hashi will face off for the inaugural Deep Jewels Middleweight Championship at Deep Jewels 4 on May 18th in Tokyo. The 135-pound matchup was officially announced during a press conference today.

Sugiyama returned to the win column after fighting to a disappointing Draw with Ji-Yeon Kim in November by stopping Mizuho Sato in just 75 seconds at Deep Jewels 3. Hashi stepped back into action this month following a two-year hiatus and she also fought to a two-round Draw against Kim.

Ham is scheduled to face teen prospect Shino VanHoose on the card.
