I was born in Western NC, and was brought up in MMA from the time I was 16 by Spencer "The King" Fisher.
I joined the Army when I was 17 and never lost my love for MMA. I had my first two fights in Tennesee and Georgia while I was in Army Individual Training. Then, I started training with Jeff Monson at ATT West and had my third win in 2004 in a Dennis Hallman promotion in Yelm, WA. I did not fight again until 2006 due to Military deployments.
Then, in 2006, I had a fight booked in Vancouver, British Columbia, but they cancelled and then called back later and said it was on, so I had to cut 15 pounds in 24 hours, which completely exhausted me. I was pretty much incapable of fighting, but took the fight. It was ruled a No Contest when he threw an illegal knee on the ground.
I have now gotten out of the military and moved to Houston, Texas, where I train with MFS Houston under the tutelage of Sam Hoger, and hope to get back into the ring in early 2008. I am looking for any sponsors, so anyone interested, please hit me up.
