Uriah “Primetime” Hall vs Chris “The Crippler” Leben
Round 1:
Hall dropped Leben immediately with a flying knee, but Leben got back to his feet and walked forward with punches. Hall circled away and countered with occasional hooks and uppercuts. He landed a knee in close and followed with a front kick. As Leben pressed forward, Hall countered with hooks and standing elbows. Leben kicked to the body and missed with a haymaker left. Hall dropped him with a right cross and nearly finished him with punches on the ground as time expired. 10-9 Hall.
Between rounds, Leben stated that he could not continue and retired from the fight.
Winner: Uriah Hall by TKO (Retirement) at 5:00 of round one. He improves to 8-4-0.
Michael “The Menace” Johnson vs Gleison Tibau
Round 1:
Tibau landed a nice left hand early in the fight and the fighters clinched against the cage. Johnson broke free and threw a right hook to the body. Tibau pawed out with jabs, but Johnson stunned him with a one-two in close. Tibau regained his footing and tried for a takedown, but Johnson shrugged him off. Both fighters landed two-punch combos and Johnson scored with an overhand left. He defended against another takedown attempt late in the close round. 10-9 Johnson.
Round 2:
The second round began with both fighters landing one-twos and body kicks. After a series of quick exchanges, Johnson landed a left hook to the temple that crumpled Tibau to the mat. He followed with more punches and the fight was stopped.
Winner: Michael Johnson by KO (Punches) at 1:32 of round two. He improves to 14-8-0.
Dennis Siver vs Manny “The Anvil” Gamburyan
Round 1:
Siver took Gamburyan down after an early exchange of punches, but Gamburyan countered with an armbar attempt. Siver escaped and he landed short punches from the top. Gamburyan rolled for a leglock and the fight returned to the feet. Siver scored with kicks to the body and Gamburyan responded with a spinning back kick and a right hook. Gamburyan took him down and rolled for a heel hook. Siver punched his way free and took Gamburyan’s back. He landed punches from standing back control until the end of the round. 10-9 Siver.
Round 2:
Both fighters landed looping right hooks to begin round two and Gamburyan fell to his knees. He got back up and beckoned Siver to strike with him. Gamburyan took Siver down, but Siver was the more active fighter from his back. A short elbow scored for Gamburyan and Siver began to bleed from the forehead. The fighters stood and Gamburyan threw another spinning back kick. Siver flurried to the head and body and Gamburyan slammed him to the mat. He punched from the top in half-guard until the bell. 10-9 Gamburyan.
Round 3:
The pace remained high in the final round and both fighters threw power punches and head kicks. Time was called after Gamburyan was kicked in the groin. After the restart, Siver took Gamburyan down and struck from half-guard. He took Gamburyan’s back in a scramble and locked on a body triangle. He remained on Gamburyan’s back all the way until the bell and landed a series of short right hands along the way. 10-9 Siver.
Winner: Dennis Siver by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 22-9-0.
John “Doomsday” Howard vs Siyar “The Great” Bahadurzada
Round 1:
Both men landed leg kicks early on and Bahadurzada attempted a head kick. He landed a powerful right hook and the fighters exchanged punches in close. Bahadurzada fought off Howard’s takedown attempts and landed more punches, but Howard finally got him down. He took Bahadurzada’s back on the way up, but Bahadurzada broke free and landed a three-punch flurry. Howard replied with a combination before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Howard.
Round 2:
The second round began with an exchange of haymakers and both men landed. Howard scored with a lead left hook and backed Bahadurzada up to the cage with short uppercuts in close. Bahadurzada took Howard down, but Howard worked back to his feet and he landed a four-punch combination of winging hooks. In the final seconds, Howard picked Bahadurzada up on his back and slammed him down with a modified pro wrestling-style Death Valley Driver. 10-9 Howard.
Round 3:
The final round began with another exchange of punches and Bahadurzada began to noticeably slow down. He taunted Howard, who responded with a combination. Howard took him down and landed some huge right hands from a standing position. He took Bahadurzada’s back, then transitioned to side control and mount. Bahadurzada rolled and gave up his back again. Howard worked for a rear-naked choke until the bell. 10-9 Howard.
Winner: John Howard by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 22-8-0.
William “Patolino” Macario vs “Vicious” Bobby Voelker
Round 1:
Left hooks were exchanged in the opening minute and Macario scored with a series of right hands. He followed with stiff jabs that bloodied Voelker’s nose. Macario put together combinations of punches to the head and body and he kept Voelker backing up. An overhand right rocked Voelker and Macario rushed in with standing elbows and knees. He took Voelker down and landed a knee to the body on the way up. In the final minute, Macario ducked under Voelker’s punches and landed counter jabs and knees. 10-9 Macario.
Round 2:
Macario avoided more of Voelker’s punches in the second round and he countered nicely with short left hooks. Macario took Voelker down, but he could not hold him there for long. Voelker stood and Macario landed left and right hooks. Macario cut Voelker on the forehead with elbows and he followed with punches and knees to the body. A right hook dropped Voelker briefly, but he got back to his feet. Time was called to check Voelker’s cuts. Action resumed and a bloody Voelker pressed forward with punches. 10-9 Macario.
Round 3:
Voelker remained aggressive in the final round, but Macario ducked under his punches and continued to counter effectively with jabs and kicks. A quick combination opened up Voelker’s nose again and Macario shrugged off a takedown attempt. Time was briefly called after Voelker was poked in the eye. Action resumed and Macario scored with punches and an elbow. He began to kick at Voelker’s lead leg and took him down. Voelker got back to his feet and the bloody fight ended with both men landing punches. 10-9 Macario.
Winner: William Macario by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 7-1-0.
Robbie “Problems” Peralta vs Estevan “El Terrible” Payan
Round 1:
Peralta flurried with punches early on and took Payan down against the cage. He landed short strikes from the top until Payan worked back to his feet and scored with knees. Peralta took him down again, but Payan swept into top position. He postured up in side control and landed some solid punches. Payan remained on top until just before the bell. 10-9 Payan.
Round 2:
Peralta mixed up his strikes with power punches and leg kicks in the second round. The fighters traded left hooks and Peralta grazed with a looping overhand right. Payan clinched and secured a body lock takedown into side control. Peralta got back to half-guard, then rolled backwards and stood up. Both men landed hard right hands and they battled for the position in the clinch until the end of the round. 10-9 Payan.
Round 3:
Peralta swarmed on Payan right away in round three and he dropped Payan to the mat against the base of the cage. Peralta landed more punches and the fight was stopped.
Winner: Robbie Peralta by TKO (Punches) at 0:12 of round three. He improves to 17-4-0, 1 NC.
