Tim “The Barbarian” Boetsch vs C.B. “The Doberman” Dollaway
Round 1:
Dollaway struck from the outside in the opening minutes of round one. He was effective with punching combinations and leg kicks that kept Boetsch guessing. Dollaway scored a brief takedown against the cage, but Boetsch quickly returned to his feet and landed a hard leg kick. Dollaway punished Boetsch with knees to the body in the final minute and he backed Boetsch up with a lead left hook. Boetsch cut him near the left eye with a counter left hand late in the round. 10-9 Dollaway.
Round 2:
Dollaway took Boetsch down in the second round and worked from the top in half-guard. Boetsch scrambled and Dollaway tried for both a Peruvian Necktie and a Brabo choke. Boetsch escaped to his feet and sprawled out of a takedown. He attempted a standing guillotine choke and Dollaway dropped down to the ground to escape. Boetsch landed a knee to the body as Dollaway stood up. He followed with a hard right hand, but Dollaway took him back down into side control. Dollaway fought off a kimura attempt by landing elbows to the body. Close round. 10-9 Dollaway.
Round 3:
Time was called early in the final round after Boetsch was poked in the right eye. The fight eventually continued and Boetsch closed in with right hands. He fought off a takedown attempt and another timeout was called when Dollaway was poked in the eye for a second time. Dollaway was deducted one point for the infraction and Boetsch cracked him with a right hook after the restart.
Dollaway took Boetsch down near the cage and prevented him from standing up. He used an arm-triangle choke attempt to set up a move to mount. Boetsch eventually scrambled free and got back to his feet. Dollaway kicked at Boetsch’s lead leg and Boetsch responded with an overhand right. Dollaway dragged Boetsch down, but Boetsch locked on a guillotine choke. He struck from the top and switched to a front choke. 10-8 Boetsch. Could be a 9-9 round.
Winner: Tim Boetsch by Split Decision (30-26, 30-26, 27-29) after three rounds. He improves to 17-6-0.
Hector “Lightning” Lombard vs Nate “The Great” Marquardt
Round 1:
Both fighters scored with knees and hard uppercuts in the clinch in round one. Lombard hurt Marquardt with a right hook over the top and he swarmed on him with punches. Marquardt fell to the mat and Lombard dropped more shots until Marquardt was briefly rendered unconscious.
Winner: Hector Lombard by KO (Punches) at 1:48 of round one. He improves to 33-4-1, 1 NC.
Jessica “Evil” Eye vs Sarah Kaufman
Round 1:
Eye landed quick jabs and a right hand early in the fight and Kaufman answered with two right hooks over the top. The fighters clinched and traded knees. Eye pressed Kaufman up against the cage and landed uppercuts, but Kaufman scored with more knees and broke free. A quick combo and a stiff jab landed for Eye and Kaufman pressed forward with a flurry of punches.
Back in the clinch, Kaufman landed two knees and a three-punch combo over the top. Eye briefly lost her balance, but she regained her footing and answered back with punches of her own before circling away. The fighters clinched again and exchanged short uppercuts. Eye landed a nice combination and an overhand right. Kaufman punched her way out of a clinch and landed a right hook. Close opening round. 10-9 Eye.
Round 2:
Kaufman opened the action in round two with knees and uppercuts in the clinch. She followed with a solid counter right hand that set off an exchange of power punches. Eye continued to find a home for her jab and she landed more quick punches as Kaufman’s face began to swell up and show damage. Kaufman landed two right hooks and Eye countered with a flurry in close.
Kaufman punched her way into a clinch and Eye reversed against the fence. She stomped on Kaufman’s foot and backed away. Kaufman clinched again and threw knees to Eye’s thigh. She landed an elbow over the top as Eye circled free. Eye snapped Kaufman’s head back with a stiff jab and kicked at her lead leg. Kaufman responded with a leg kick of her own before the bell. Another close round. 10-9 Kaufman by a slim margin.
Round 3:
Kaufman knocked Eye off-balance with a counter right hook early in the final round and she clinched against the cage. Eye backed away, but Kaufman landed another right hand in the process. Right hooks landed for both women and Kaufman backed Eye up once again with a trio of punches. Eye began to mix up her strikes with kicks to the lead leg and body and she landed a short uppercut.
The fighters clinched against the cage once more and Kaufman landed an elbow over the top. A big right hand rocked Eye and she staggered briefly. Kaufman closed in with more punches and Eye recovered after initiating a clinch. Eye eventually backed away and Kaufman landed a series of right hands. Eye scored with one of her own and a stiff jab. Kaufman landed another hard right hook before the end of the round. 10-9 Kaufman.
Winner: Jessica Eye by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 11-1-0.
“King” K.J. Noons vs George Sotiropoulos
Round 1:
Both fighters were cautious on the feet in the opening minutes. Noons jabbed and threw occasional left hooks. Sotiropoulos answered with occasional one-twos. Noons jabbed to the body and landed a nice left hook with just over a minute to go. Time was called after he was accidentally poked in the eye. Action resumed after a short break and Noons landed an uppercut. He flurried with punches and rocked Sotiropoulos with a right hand. The fighters traded strikes and Noons landed another hard combination just as time expired. 10-9 Noons.
Round 2:
An exchange of left hooks opened round two and Sotiropoulos threw a head kick. Noons flurried to the body and avoided a counter knee. Sotiropoulos missed with a spinning wheel kick and Noons stuffed a takedown. Noons jabbed and landed a right hand, but Sotiropoulos finally got him down against the cage. Noons worked his way back up and the fighters exchanged more punches. Noons continued to target the body and he blocked a head kick. Sotiropoulos attempted another head kick and he landed a left hook as Noons threw an uppercut. Close round. 10-9 Noons, barely.
Round 3:
Sotiropoulos just missed with a spinning back kick in the final round and he countered a combination from Noons with a chopping leg kick. Noons opened a cut over Sotiropoulos’s left eye with jabs and he rocked Sotiropoulos with a right hand. Sotiropoulos began to bleed from near the right eye and he tried unsuccessfully for a takedown. Noons landed jabs and Sotiropoulos countered with leg kicks. Sotiropoulos connected with a vicious head kick, but it appeared to have little effect on Noons, who fired back with a right hook. Both fighters missed with spinning attacks. 10-9 Noons.
Winner: K.J. Noons by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-7-0.
Adlan “Borz” Amagov vs T.J. Waldburger
Round 1:
Amagov kept his distance and landed a variety of kicks including a spinning back kick to the body in the opening two minutes. Waldburger tried for a takedown and Amagov stuffed it with knees and punches. A left hook to the jaw badly rocked Waldburger and he fell to his back. Amagov landed a barrage of punches until Waldburger was completely unconscious.
Winner: Adlan Amagov by KO (Punches) at 3:45 of round one. He improves to 13-2-1.
Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson vs Mike “The Wolverine” Rio
Round 1:
Rio looked for an early takedown and landed a looping left hook behind the ear. Ferguson defended against Rio’s takedown attempt with a Brabo choke and landed a knee to the shoulder. The fighters stood and Ferguson rocked Rio with a left hook. He locked on another Brabo choke on the ground and this time Rio was forced to submit.
Winner: Tony Ferguson by Submission (Brabo Choke) at 1:52 of round one. He improves to 14-3-0.
Andre “Touchy” Fili vs Jeremy Larsen
Round 1:
Fili was very aggressive with his striking early on and he mixed up his strikes with kicks and combinations. Fili stunned Larsen with a right hook and followed with more punches. He rocked Larsen seconds later with a big knee and Larsen began to bleed heavily from the forehead. Fili continued to punish him with punches, but Larsen recovered and worked for a takedown. Time was called to check on Larsen’s cut.
Action resumed and Larsen landed a right hook to the body and another one to the head. Fili avoided a looping right hand from Larsen and landed a quick combination. Larsen scored a takedown and struck from the top. Fili countered with an omoplata and a triangle choke attempt. Fili scrambled up to his feet and landed a three-punch combo. He connected with one more right hand before the bell. 10-9 Fili.
Round 2:
Larsen landed a huge right hook in round two and Fili walked right through it. He kept Larsen on the defensive with punches and landed a combination. Fili hurt Larsen with a left-right combo and Larsen fell to the mat. Fili dove in with more punches and the bout was stopped.
Winner: Andre Fili by TKO (Punches) at 0:53 of round two. He improves to 13-1-0.
Kyoji Horiguchi vs Dustin “The Disciple” Pague
Round 1:
Pague caught a kick early in the fight and took Horiguchi down into back control. Horiguchi stood with Pague on his back and Pague tried to lock in a standing rear-naked choke. Horiguchi continued to defend against Pague’s choke attempts throughout the round. With 90 seconds to go, Horiguchi spun into the clinch and broke free after Pague missed with an elbow. Pague landed a knee and Horiguchi fired back with a one-two. Pague threw Horiguchi down and attempted a rear-naked choke. Horiguchi got top position and landed a big right hand before the bell. 10-9 Pague.
Round 2:
Horiguchi opened round two with a hard left hook and he dropped Pague with a second one immediately after. Horiguchi swarmed with punches on the ground, but Pague narrowly held on. He eventually swept into top position and the fighters stood up. Horiguchi got Pague down and struck from the top in half-guard. He postured up and rained down punches. Horiguchi continued to unload with punches until the bout was finally stopped.
Winner: Kyoji Horiguchi by TKO (Punches) at 3:51 of round two. He improves to 12-1-0.
Jessica Eye will be a HUGE star. She seemed STRONGER than Kaufman in the clinch, and Kaufman is easily one of the top three strongest bantamweights, just behind McMann and around the same ballpark as Rousey, in my opinion!
Also, her footwork and head movement were TOP NOTCH.

For the record, I scored it 29-28 (Rounds 1 & 2 for Eye, and 3 for Kaufman)!

Unbelievable that two judges scored all three rounds for Boestch.
I could have seen 29-27 for CB, or even 28-28, as round 3 was competitive, and CB lost a point. But giving rounds 1 & 2 to Boetsch was outrageous.
