The Ultimate Fighting Championship came to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada tonight for UFC 276: “Adesanya vs Cannonier.” The card featured a UFC Middleweight Championship bout between champion Israel “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya and challenger Jared “The Killa Gorilla” Cannonier.

Saori Oshima made it two-for-two under the Rizin FF banner with a narrow Split Decision victory tonight at Rizin Fighting Federation 36 in Okinawa, Japan. The two-division Deep and Deep Jewels champion edged out former title challenger Miyuu Yamamoto in the super atomweight co-main event.

In a second 49kg super atomweight bout, 17-year-old Moeri Suda, who challenged unsuccessfully for Oshima’s Deep Jewels atomweight title in May, rebounded with a quick victory in her Rizin FF debut. Suda finished Mizuki “Nisse” Oshiro with an impressive armbar early in the first round.

New UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jiří “Denisa” Procházka scored a thrilling fifth-round submission victory on June 12th at UFC 275 in Kallang, Singapore. Procházka rallied late in the fight and submitted former champ Glover Teixeira to capture the title and the top spot at 205 pounds.

On the same UFC 275 card, UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko narrowly eked out a Split Decision victory over Taila Santos to remain atop the women’s flyweight rankings. Former strawweight champion Weili “Magnum” Zhang knocked out Joanna Jędrzejczyk.
