Lovato Out, Emi Fujino Now Faces Amber Brown At Pancrase 247Jewels title contender Emi “Kamikaze Angel” Fujino has a new opponent for her upcoming bout at Pancrase 247 on May 19th in Tokyo, Japan. Fujino will now face off against unbeaten King of the Cage veteran Amber “The Bully” Brown, who replaces injured teammate Monica Lovato on the card.

Brown announced her participation earlier this week and Pancrase officials confirmed the change on Friday. Lovato withdrew from her bout with Fujino due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Brown most recently earned a first-round TKO victory in January and now makes her Pancrase debut.

Mika Nagano, Celine Haga Among Winners At Jewels: 23rd RingTop Jewels star Mika “Future Princess” Nagano had her work cut out for her today in the main event of Jewels: “23rd Ring” in Tokyo, Japan. The popular grappler earned a close Unanimous Decision victory over fellow submission specialist Emi Tomimatsu in a back-and-forth battle at 114 pounds.

In the co-main event, upset queen Celine Haga picked up her third straight victory. Haga defeated Jewels Featherweight Queen Champion Naho “Sugi Rock” Sugiyama in a non-title bout. Other winners on the main card included promotional poster girl Shizuka Sugiyama and top prospect Mizuki Inoue.

Colleen Schneider Submits Sanja Sučević, Wins Title At SFL 14Strikeforce veteran Colleen “The Beautiful Disaster” Schneider picked up her third straight victory and captured her first pro title tonight at Super Fight League 14 in Mumbai, India. Schneider submitted Serbia’s Sanja Sučević with a keylock to become the inaugural SFL Women’s Flyweight Champion.

Schneider used her size and strength advantage to control the fight on the ground and she dominated the action with strikes and submission attempts. Sučević did well in defence, but Schneider continued to wear her down and eventually secured the fight-ending keylock midway through round three.

Jessica Aguilar, Felice Herrig Victorious At Bellator 94 In FloridaTop-ranked strawweight Jessica “Jag” Aguilar made a successful return to action tonight at Bellator 94 in Tampa, Florida, but her victory did not come easily. Aguilar narrowly outpointed submission specialist “Little” Patricia Vidonic in a rematch from the pair’s first fight back in February 2012.

In a second female fight on tonight’s card, Felice “Lil’ Bulldog” Herrig rallied back from a tough first round to take a Split Decision victory over bitter rival “Hurricane” Heather Clark. I am feeling pretty good right now, the weight is great and everything is going according to plan. I’ve had great training sessions at the Ettl-Bros Team in Graz and at MMA-Vienna, which are two of the best gyms in Austria. I also did some fun training with M-1 Champion Beckan Taisumov, which helped me to improve a lot.

Now I have another challenge in front of me before fighting at Invicta FC 5. My own event, Mixfight Night IV, will be this weekend. I’ve nearly sold out the arena already and I will give the audience info about Invicta and my fight.
