Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez vs Jun Yong “The Iron Turtle” Park

Round 1:
The fighters traded punches in the opening minute and Park landed a hard combination that was countered by an uppercut and a lunging flurry from Hernandez. Park backed him up with punches to the head and body and Hernandez shot in for a sloppy takedown. Park trapped him in a standing guillotine choke, but Hernandez broke free and he managed to get Park down after landing a quick flurry. Park stood and Hernandez took him down again after avoiding a second guillotine choke. He could not keep Park down and Park continued to dominate the striking exchanges with stiff jabs and straight right hands. Hernandez dragged him down against the base of the cage and Park used a kimura to sweep and escape to his feet. Both men landed heavy punches late in the round. 10-9 Park by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Park struck first with a combination in round two, but Hernandez answered back with one of his own. Park stunned him with more punches and Hernandez tried for a takedown. He got Park down on his second try, but Park returned to his feet and locked on a guillotine choke. Hernandez pulled his head free and slammed Park down to the mat. Park got back up and both men landed combinations. Hernandez finished with a knee to the body and he took Park down into S-mount. Hernandez alternated between back control and S-mount while peppering Park with punches. He transitioned to a Brabo choke and Park was forced to submit.

Su “Sulamu” Mudaerji vs Andre “The Asian Sensation” Soukhamthath

Round 1:
Mudaerji opened the fight with side kicks and both men landed right hands. Mudaerji stayed active with kicks and he clipped Soukhamthath with a crescent kick to the face. Soukhamthath recovered and shot in for a takedown, but Mudaerji remained on his feet. The fighters battled in the clinch and both landed knees. Mudaerji broke free and he landed a straight left hand. Another side kick and three left hands landed for Mudaerji late in the round. 10-9 Mudaerji.

Round 2:
Soukhamthath indicated between rounds that he had broken his left hand and he had to play defence early in round two as Mudaerji landed a variety of kicks and more left hands. Soukhamthath scored with a combination, but Mudaerji jabbed and picked his shots while staying out of range of Soukhamthath’s hooks. Soukhamthath landed a leg kick and an overhand right, but Mudaerji responded with a side kick and a flurry. Both men landed straight punches and Mudaerji held a speed advantage. He grazed with a head kick and followed with a left hook to the liver. A big combination backed Soukhamthath up, but he regained his footing and fired off a one-two. Mudaerji closed out the round with another combination. 10-9 Mudaerji.

Round 3:
Mudaerji struck first with jabs and a leg kick in the final round, and he avoided a Soukhamthath takedown attempt. Mudaerji picked Soukhamthath apart with kicks and more punching combinations soon after. He caught a kick from Soukhamthath and swept out his leg, then struck from the top with elbows in Soukhamthath’s half-guard. Soukhamthath got back to full guard, but Mudaerji continued to batter him with punches and elbows. Mudaerji postured up and landed more punches from a standing position before dropping back down into half-guard. Soukhamthath scrambled and attempted a kimura, but Mudaerji escaped and battered him with elbows and hammerfists. 10-8 Mudaerji.

Winner: Su Mudaerji by Unanimous Decision (30-25, 30-26, 30-26) after three rounds. He improves to 12-4-0.

 

Da Un Jung vs Khadis Ibragimov

Round 1:
Big punches were exchanged early on and Ibragimov backed Jung up with a lengthy flurry. Ibragimov continued to unload with more than two dozen punches, but Jung stayed on his feet and weathered the storm. The pace slowed down and both men landed right hands over the top. Ibragimov rushed forward with another flurry and Jung sidestepped to evade. Ibragimov stunned him with a left hook and lunged in with hooks as Jung retreated to the cage. Ibragimov looked for a takedown and Jung countered with knees. Ibragimov slowed down, but he still landed looping hooks and uppercuts late in the round. 10-8 Ibragimov.

Round 2:
Jung landed an early left hand in round two and he followed with knees to the body as Ibragimov slowed down. More punches and knees landed for Jung including an uppercut. He jabbed and re-opened a cut from round one near Ibragimov’s left eye. Ibragimov fired off a flurry, but most of his offence consisted of single strikes as the round progressed and Jung landed more knees to the body. Jung jabbed and Ibragimov clinched for a takedown. He got Jung down very briefly, but Jung stood and landed a hard knee to the body. Ibragimov tied him up against the cage and took Jung down after avoiding a kimura attempt. Close round. 10-9 Jung despite the late offence from Ibragimov.

Round 3:
A fatigued Ibragimov landed looping hooks early in round three and he tried for a takedown. Jung scrambled free once, but Ibragimov got him down again. Jung stood and locked on a power guillotine choke against the cage. Ibragimov could not escape and tapped out.

Winner: Da Un Jung by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 2:00 of round three. He improves to 12-2-0.

 

Damir Ismagulov vs Thiago Moises

Round 1:
Ismagulov landed an overhand right and a leg kick early in the first round and he continued to pick his shots with single strikes. Both men landed quick one-twos and Moises attempted a head kick. Moises landed a nice right cross and the fighters traded leg kicks. Ismagulov pressed the action with chopping leg kicks and right hands. Moises blocked a head kick, but he ate one to the body. In the final minute, Ismagulov landed another leg kick and he floored Moises with a lead left hook. Moises recovered on the ground and Ismagulov landed punches from a standing position until the end of the round. 10-9 Ismagulov.

Round 2:
The second round began with Ismagulov pressing forward aggressively with looping punches and Moises countered with straight right hands. He missed with a spinning hook kick but landed another right cross. Ismagulov responded with a sweeping leg kick and he reversed a takedown against the cage soon after. Ismagulov landed knees to the chest of a kneeling Moises until Moises rose to his feet against the fence. The fighters separated and Moises landed a hard left hook. Ismagulov stunned him with a counter right hand and he landed a grazing spinning back kick before the bell. 10-9 Ismagulov.

Round 3:
Ismagulov backed Moises up with a spinning back kick to begin the final round. He followed with a combination and avoided a takedown attempt. Moises blocked a head kick but ate a liver kick as Ismagulov kept the pressure on. A big right cross landed for Ismagulov, but Moises stayed on his feet and Ismagulov rushed at him with a jumping kick to the body. More body kicks were exchanged and Ismagulov mixed in leg kicks as well. The fighters exchanged punches in the final minute of the fight and Moises threw a spinning back kick to the body. Both men landed one-twos before the final bell. 10-9 Ismagulov.

Winner: Damir Ismagulov by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 19-1-0.

 

Heili “The Mongolian Knight” Alateng vs Danaa “Storm” Batgerel

Round 1:
Hard right hands were exchanged early in the fight and Alateng followed with a left hook that drew cheers from the crowd. Batgerel responded with a combination and he established his jab. Alateng connected with an overhand right and Batgerel responded with jabs and one-twos. He rushed forward with a flurry, but Alateng blocked most of the punches. Batgerel missed with a right hand and Alateng stunned him with a counter right in return. Batgerel began to bleed from the bridge of the nose and Alateng landed another right hand late in the competitive round. 10-9 Alateng.

Round 2:
Alateng landed a combination in round two and Batgerel replied with a body kick. Both men landed hard right hooks and Batgerel followed with two lead left hands. Alateng landed a big one-two and was immediately countered by a flurry from Batgerel. He rushed forward with a hook to the body and a head kick, but Alateng was unfazed. Alateng landed a right hand and Batgerel immediately responded with a lengthy combination that led to a brief clinch. Batgerel connected with another right hand and he scored a brief takedown before the bell. 10-9 Batgerel.

Round 3:
Batgerel’s left eye was swollen shut to begin the final round, but that did not slow down his offence and he backed Alateng up with an early flurry. Alateng attempted a takedown and Batgerel stuffed it. Another big flurry and a body kick landed for Batgerel, but Alateng responded with an overhand right. Batgerel landed another combination and Alateng tried for a takedown. Batgerel countered with a jumping knee, but Alateng got him down and Batgerel threw elbows from the bottom. Alateng passed to side control and took Batgerel’s back, but Batgerel threw back elbow strikes until the fight returned to the feet. Alateng threw him down into side control and both men landed elbows on the ground. Batgerel got back to full guard, but Alateng landed numerous punches until the bell. Another close round. 10-9 Alateng due to the late rally.

Winner: Heili Alateng by Unanimous Decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-27) after three rounds. He improves to 13-7-1.

 

Karol Rosa vs Lara Fritzen Procopio

Round 1:
Both women landed punch-kick combos in the frenetic opening minute and Rosa shrugged off a takedown attempt. The pace remained high as punches and leg kicks were exchanged. Rosa landed the better combinations, but Procopio scored with stiff jabs that reddened Rosa’s face. Rosa stunned her with a hard flurry and she avoided a clinch attempt from Procopio. A combination to the head and body scored for Procopio, but she could not get Rosa down. Both women landed right hands and leg kicks in the final minute, and Procopio clinched with Rosa before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Rosa.

Round 2:
Procopio opened round two with two hard leg kicks and Rosa responded with one of her own. The fighters briefly clinched and Procopio continued to find success with leg kicks. Rosa backed her up with a counter left hook and a body kick. The fighters continued to trade leg kicks and both landed elbows in another brief clinch. Procopio snuck in an uppercut, but she could not get Rosa to the mat. Rosa landed a hard knee to the body and a follow-up right hand, which prompted Procopio to answer back with a lunging flurry. She tried again to get Rosa down, but Rosa stayed on her feet and kicked at Procopio’s legs. The fight returned to the feet and Rosa landed jabs, right hands and leg kicks to steal back the round. 10-9 Rosa.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of jabs and Rosa mixed in a nice leg kick. Both women landed punching flurries and Procopio mixed things up with hooks to the body and head. Rosa floored her with a huge right hand, but Procopio recovered on the ground and got back to her feet. Another hard right hook landed for Rosa and she followed with punches to the body and head. Procopio landed a solid right hand with 75 seconds remaining, but she was unable to get Rosa down to the mat. Both women landed leg kicks and jabs late in the fight, and Rosa scored with a lunging right hand before the bell. 10-9 Rosa.

Winner: Karol Rosa by Split Decision (30-27, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 12-3-0.
