The Ultimate Fighter 18: "Rousey vs Tate" Full Cast AnnouncedAll 32 cast members have now been revealed for The Ultimate Fighter 18: “Team Rousey vs Team Tate,” which premieres September 4th on FOX Sports 1. UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey and Miesha “Cupcake” Tate serve as the coaches on two opposing teams.

For the first time in the show’s lengthy history, TUF 18 features both male and female bantamweights who will compete for one of two six-figure UFC contracts. During the premiere episode, each of the fighters will compete in an elimination fight in hopes of securing a spot inside the TUF house.

This season’s cast of female fighters includes a blend of experienced veterans and talented prospects. Submission specialist Shayna “The Queen of Spades” Baszler (15-8-0), hard-hitting wrestler Tonya “Triple Threat” Evinger (11-6-0), former BodogFight champ Tara LaRosa (21-3-0) and K-GRACE winner Roxanne “The Happy Warrior” Modafferi (15-10-0) comprise a group of battle-tested veterans who have each faced and defeated many of the sport’s biggest names during the past decade.

In addition to the veterans, TUF 18 features a dozen contenders, prospects and future stars. Invicta FC fighters Jessamyn “The Gun” Duke (2-0-0, 1 NC), Bethany Marshall (4-1-0), Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras (3-1-0) and Raquel “Rocky” Pennington (3-3-0) will all compete. CFA women’s tournament participants Revelina “Nana” Berto (3-1-0) and Peggy “The Daywalker” Morgan (2-0-0) are also set to take part.

Rounding out the female cast is Laura “Hot Head” Howarth (4-0-0 amateur), Valérie “Trouble” Létourneau (4-3-0), Gina “Danger” Mazany (3-0-0), Julianna “The Venezuelan Vixen” Peña (4-2-0), Jessica “Ragin'” Rakoczy (1-3-0, 1 NC) and Colleen “Bisquit” Schneider (4-4-0). The field will be cut in half following the elimination fights and only eight women will advance on to the six-week tournament competition.

The male cast for TUF 18 is comprised of Chris Beal, Cody Bollinger, Louis Fisette, Rafael de Freitas, Davey Grant, Tim Gorman, Anthony “Sharkbait” Gutierrez, Emil Hartsner, Josh Hill, Chris Holdsworth, Patrick Holohan, Sirwan Kakai, Daniel Martinez, Matt Munsey, Lee Sandmeier and Mike Wooten.

The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale is planned for November 30th in Las Vegas, Nevada, where one man and one woman will each receive a six-figure contract as the winners of the latest edition of the tournament.

 

  1. Although many names were already assumed still awesome to finally see the ladies on TUF and can’t wait for this season to get started. Hope it’s more “Ultimate Fighter” than “Real World” though as some are expecting.
