Jessica Eye vs Jennifer Scott Set For NAAFS In NovemberFan favourite Jessica “Evil” Eye will return to her roots in the North American Allied Fight Series when she takes on Jennifer “Superstar” Scott at NAAFS: “Night of Champions 2011” on November 23rd in Canton, Ohio. The bout was announced by the promotion today and takes place at 125 pounds.

Eye is coming off of a well-earned decision victory in her Bellator Fighting Championships debut last month and has tasted defeat just one time as a professional. Scott opened her career with a pair of victories and she now looks to rebound from her first professional setback in April of this year.

Eye (4-1-0), one of MMA’s brightest female prospects, has garnered a significant fan following in her native Ohio and reigned undefeated in five amateur bouts in NAAFS. She made her pro debut in June 2010 and won two times for the promotion before capturing a 130-pound title in the Ring of Combat organisation. Eye was expected to become the first NAAFS pro women’s champion on June 4th, but suffered a submission loss to Aisling “Ais The Bash” Daly late in the second round. Eye wasted little time in getting back into the cage and defeated Casey “KO” Noland at Bellator 51 in late September.

Scott (2-1-0, 1 NC) makes her NAAFS debut as an underdog, but a victory over Eye would make a big statement as the 125-pound women’s division becomes more competitive. Scott put her boxing skills to good use by dispatching of her first opponent in just 19 seconds and she picked up a decision victory in August of 2010. On October 9th of last year, Scott was defeated by Canadian striker Jessica Rakoczy, but the loss was overturned after Rakoczy tested positive for painkillers. Scott’s most recent fight ended in a definitive defeat, however, as she was stopped by Heather “Hurricane” Clark in April.

North American Allied Fight Series: “Night of Champions 2011” takes place on November 23rd at the Canton Civic Center in Canton, Ohio. The bout between Eye and Scott is expected to be part of the night’s featured main card.
