Aisling Daly To Headline NAAFS: “Eve Of Destruction 2” In NovemberNorth American Allied Fight Series champ Aisling “Ais The Bash” Daly will defend her newly-won 125-pound women’s title in the main event of NAAFS: “Eve Of Destruction 2” on November 19th in Medina, Ohio. The promotion announced Daly’s participation on the all-female card earlier today.

Daly won the title on June 4th by submitting the previously unbeaten Jessica “Evil” Eye in the second round at NAAFS: “Fight Night In The Flats 7.” She had been scheduled to face Roxanne Modafferi for BlackEye Promotions on October 1st, but that fight is now off due to Daly’s obligations to NAAFS.

Daly (11-2-0) had a nine-fight winning streak snapped in the opening round of the Bellator 115-pound women’s tournament last year, but she has won two of her three fights since then. The Irish standout defeated Molly Helsel under the Cage Warriors banner in November, but suffered a quick loss to rising star Sheila Gaff on April 24th. Not to be deterred, Daly entered hostile territory in June and upset Eye to become the first NAAFS women’s champion in the 125-pound professional division.

The opponent for Daly’s first title defence will be Michigan’s Kelly Warren (3-0-0), who is coming off of a submission victory over Sarah Lacina in June. Warren is also set to face Felice “Lil’ Bulldog” Herrig at Fight Tour on August 20th in Rockford, Illinois. She posted a 2-0 record in 2010 with wins over Amanda “Red Fox” LaVoy and Karina Hallinan.

NAAFS expects to release additional fights for the November card in the coming weeks. The debut Eve of Destruction event in 2010 was the first all-female card in NAAFS history and featured some of the sport’s top female prospects. Due to her contractual obligations to NAAFS, Daly has withdrawn from her planned bout with Modafferi at BlackEye Promotions 5 in North Carolina. She has been replaced on the October 1st card by Barb “Little Warrior” Honchak.

NAAFS: “Eve Of Destruction 2” takes place on November 19th at the Medina County Community Center in Medina, Ohio.

Article updated to include Daly’s opponent for the NAAFS title fight.
