Gabriel “Marretinha” Bonfim vs Trevin “The Problem” Giles

Round 1:
Bonfim landed an early combination and then slammed Giles down to the ground. As Giles tried to stand up, Bonfim pulled guard with a tight guillotine choke. Giles fought it momentarily before tapping out.

C.J. Vergara vs Vinicius “Fenômeno” Salvador

Round 1:
Salvador struck first with a body kick and Vergara landed a leg kick while circling back and forth. A strong leg kick landed for Salvador and Vergara scored with a left hook. Time was called when Vergara was poked in his right eye. The fight resumed and Salvador began to showboat. Vergara landed a leg kick and a lead left hook. Salvador landed a leg kick of his own and stepped in with a left hook. He threw a head kick and a left cross before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Salvador.

Round 2:
Salvador continued to taunt in the second round and he countered a right hand from Vergara with a left hook. Salvador landed a body kick and then a knee during a brief clinch. Vergara landed three right hands and Salvador responded with a body kick. An overhand left landed for Vergara as Salvador taunted non-stop. Salvador threw two kicks to the body and Vergara stepped forward with a lead left hook. Salvador landed a hard left hand before time expired. Another competitive round. 10-9 Vergara.

Round 3:
The final round opened with Salvador landing a stiff jab. Vergara landed a right hook and then followed with a left hand that backed Salvador up. Vergara scored with a one-two and a straight right. He ducked under a right hand from Salvador and landed a left hook. Leg kicks were exchanged and Vergara landed another right hook. With just over a minute remaining, Vergara landed a three-punch combo and he avoided two looping hooks from Salvador. Vergara landed a knee to the body and a step-in right hook. 10-9 Vergara.

Winner: C.J. Vergara by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-4-1.

 

Roman Kopylov vs Claudio Ribeiro

Round 1:
Nothing happened in the opening 90 seconds until Ribeiro threw a leg kick and Kopylov replied with a left hook. Kopylov landed a body kick, then jumped in with a knee and two punches. Ribeiro charged at Kopylov and landed a pair of overhand rights as Kopylov circled to his right. Kopylov landed a counter left hook and a body kick that hurt Ribeiro, and he followed up with two punches. Ribeiro recovered and Kopylov tagged him with a one-two. Ribeiro landed a right hook and then swarmed on Kopylov again with left and right hands. Kopylov regained his composure and the back-and-forth round ended in a clinch. 10-9 Kopylov.

Round 2:
The fighters cautiously circled in the second round until Kopylov landed a vicious head kick that sent Ribeiro crashing to the mat and ended the fight.

Winner: Roman Kopylov by KO (Head Kick) at 0:33 of round two. He improves to 11-2-0.

 

Jake “The Celtic Kid” Matthews vs Darrius “Beast Mode” Flowers

Round 1:
Flowers was the aggressor early on, but Matthews countered effectively with left and right hooks while circling from side to side. Flowers landed three right hooks and Matthews cracked him with a counter one-two. Matthews jabbed and ducked under punches from Flowers, then scored with a right cross. Matthews attacked Flowers’s liver with a left hook and a front kick. He landed another left hook to the body and then stunned Flowers with an overhand right. Flowers played possum to draw Matthews in, but Matthews blocked a right hand. Flowers took him down into side control and Matthews got back to full guard by holding Flowers in a guillotine choke. 10-9 Matthews.

Round 2:
Time was called early in the second round after Flowers was front kicked in the lower abdomen and indicated that he had been struck in the groin. Replays showed that the strike appeared to be legal. The fight continued after three minutes and Matthews landed another front kick to the body. Matthews jabbed and Flowers landed a knee. Matthews sprawled out of a takedown and took top position in Flowers’s half-guard. He hunted for a kimura and then moved to full mount. Flowers gave up his back and Matthews locked on a rear-naked choke that forced Flowers to immediately tap out.

Winner: Jake Matthews by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:37 of round two. He improves to 19-6-0.

 

Uros “The Doctor” Medic vs Matthew “Semi The Jedi” Semelsberger

Round 1:
Semelsberger kicked out Medic’s leg and swarmed with punches on the ground. He briefly took Medic’s back, but Medic rolled for a kneebar and used the scramble to get back to his feet. Semelsberger landed a right cross and followed with another one, but Medic landed a hard left hand in response. Semelsberger dropped Medic with a right cross, but Medic hurt Semelsberger with an upkick and returned to his feet. Semelsberger cracked him with a right hook as Medic rushed forward. Medic briefly dragged Semelsberger down and the fighters stood again. Both men landed body kicks in the final ten seconds. 10-9 Semelsberger.

Round 2:
In the second round, Semelsberger connected with a combination and Medic countered with a left hook. Semelsberger switched stances and landed a one-two and a leg kick. Medic jabbed and Semelsberger pressed forward with four right hands. He blocked a head kick from Medic and then a second one. Medic threw a quick combination and another head kick later in the round. Semelsberger grazed with a head kick of his own shortly before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Medic by a slim margin.

Round 3:
The fighters clinched in the final round and Semelsberger held Medic against the cage. Medic broke free with an elbow and he landed a lead right hook as Semelsberger stepped forward. Medic threw a head kick and he rocked Semelsberger with a one-two in close. Medic dropped Semelsberger with a spinning backfist and then stood over him while landing more punches as the fight was stopped.

Winner: Uros Medic by TKO (Spinning Backfist & Punches) at 2:36 of round three. He improves to 9-1-0.

 

Miranda “Fear The” Maverick vs Priscila “Zombie Girl” Cachoeira

Round 1:
Maverick landed a quick left hand and a leg kick, and Cachoeira answered with a right hook. She blocked a head kick from Maverick and landed a knee, but Maverick caught it and took Cachoeira down. Cachoeira got to one knee and Maverick peppered her with left hands to the face. She got Cachoeira all the way down and landed more short left hands and knees to the body. Maverick passed to a top-side crucifix and landed punches and elbows in the final minute. 10-9 Maverick.

Round 2:
Maverick tried unsucessfully to clinch and she landed single punches and body kicks. When she eventually did clinch, Cachoeira held her in a guillotine choke. Maverick swept out Cachoeira’s leg and landed on top in her half-guard. She punched with her left hand and pass to mount. Cachoeira kicked off of the cage and got to a seated position. Maverick pulled her back into half-guard again and closed out the round with elbows from the top. 10-9 Maverick.

Round 3:
Cachoeira pressed forward aggressively, but she ate a left hand and Maverick took her down into side control. She methodically worked her way to mount and then spun into an armbar. Cachoeira appeared to tap twice, but the fight was not stopped until she tapped out three more times. Dominant win for Maverick.

Winner: Miranda Maverick by Submission (Armbar) at 2:11 of round three. She improves to 12-5-0.
