Rinat “Gladiator” Fakhretdinov vs Kevin “The Motown Phenom” Lee

Round 1:
Fakhretdinov landed an early one-two and a jab, then dropped Lee with a right hook. Lee got to his knees and Fakhretdinov trapped him in a tight guillotine choke. The kneeling Lee was quickly rendered unconscious and the fight was waved off.

Winner: Rinat Fakhretdinov by Technical Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 0:55 of round one. He improves to 21-1-0.

 

Joanderson “Tubarão” Brito vs Westin Wilson

Round 1:
Wilson struck with a body kick and Brito answered with an overhand right. He stunned Wilson with a left hook and closed in with more punches, but Wilson tied up his arms in a clinch. Brito secured a body lock and he threw Wilson down into side control. Wilson spun into a heel hook and a kneebar from the bottom. Brito blasted him with big right hands. He landed three more that knocked Wilson out and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Joanderson Brito by KO (Punches) at 2:54 of round one. He improves to 15-3-1.

 

Karol Rosa vs Yana “Foxy” Santos

Round 1:
After trading punches, Santos closed the distance and landed knees to Rosa’s body. Rosa countered with elbows and the fighters briefly separated. Santos punched her way into another clinch and kneed Rosa’s thigh while Rosa threw palm strikes to the side of her face. Santos peppered Rosa with short punches and elbows until the fighters separated. Both landed body kicks and Rosa countered a leg kick with an overhand right. She landed one more right hand and prevented Santos from clinching. 10-9 Santos.

Round 2:
Rosa landed a hook to the body and Santos clinched, but Rosa countered knees from Santos with an elbow. Rosa walked forward with punches and that led to another clinch. Both women landed knees in close and Rosa scored with more knees as the round progressed. Rosa threw a head kick and avoided a side kick from Santos. The back-and-forth round ended with a clinch against the cage. 10-9 Rosa.

Round 3:
Rosa countered a body kick from Santos with an overhand right and the fighters traded calf kicks. Santos finished a combination with a body kick and Rosa answered with a nice right cross. After an exchange of leg kicks, Rosa landed an elbow in close and then backed away. Late in the round, Rosa landed a right hook and then took Santos down. She elbowed her face and body until time expired. Close round. 10-9 Rosa.

Winner: Karol Rosa by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 17-5-0.

 

Elves Brener Oliveira vs Guram “Georgian Viking” Kutateladze

Round 1:
Kutateladze landed kicks to Brener’s leg and body early on and avoided a Brener right hook. Brener secured a takedown and Kutateladze held him in rubber guard. He postured for a triangle choke and then worked back to his feet against the cage. Brener briefly tripped him again and Kutateladze stood. The fighters separated and Kutateladze landed a one-two. Front kicks were exchanged and Brener briefly threw Kutateladze to the ground. Back on the feet, Kutateladze kneed Brener in the body and he held him against the cage. Kutateladze landed more knees and then swarmed with punches and an elbow that rocked Brener late in the round. 10-9 Kutateladze.

Round 2:
The second round opened with an exchange of wild punches and Kutateladze hurt Brener with a knee. He pushed Brener down to the ground and struck from the top with elbows. Kutateladze allowed a bloodied Brener to stand and he avoided a flying knee, then countered with a right hook. Punches were exchanged and Kutateladze wobbled Brener with an elbow. Kutateladze flurried to the body and head, but Brener recovered and landed a combination of his own. Kutateladze tripped Brener and both men landed elbows on the ground, with Kutateladze’s having a greater impact. 10-9 Kutateladze.

Round 3:
Kutateladze remained in control of the striking exchanges early in the final round, but Brener scored with a combination that knocked his mouthpiece out. Action resumed and Kutateladze noticeably slowed down. He landed two counter hooks as Brener moved forward, however, which re-opened the cut on Brener’s head. Kutateladze followed with knees and elbows and the fighters clinched momentarily. Soon after, Brener landed a short left hook behind his ear and Kutateladze dropped to a knee. Brener followed up with more punches and the fight was stopped, giving Brener a huge comeback win out of nowhere.

Winner: Elves Brener Oliveira by TKO (Punches) at 3:17 of round three. He improves to 15-3-0.

 

Luana “Dread” Carolina vs Ivana Širić Petrović

Round 1:
Carolina opened the fight with a head kick attempt and a leg kick. Petrović clinched and Carolina reversed position against the cage. Petrović swept out Carolina’s leg, but Carolina rolled through and took top position on the ground. She looked to set up an arm-triangle choke and Petrović defended. Carolina punched from the top and Petrović tried to roll for a kneebar. She used it to sweep into top position, but Carolina kicked her off and the round ended with Petrović dropping back and attempting an Achilles lock. 10-9 Carolina.

Round 2:
Carolina landed two leg kicks and a pair of knees to Petrović’s body, and Petrović secured a body lock. Carolina kneed her thigh and Petrović tried unsuccessfully for a takedown. The fighters separated and Carolina landed a kick to the upper body. Petrović scored with a left hook and clinched, but Carolina turned her around against the cage. Both women landed knees to the body as they battled for position and Petrović took Carolina down just before the bell. 10-9 Carolina despite the takedown.

Round 3:
The final round began with Carolina landing a knee and a body kick. She finished a combination with a forearm strike and then reversed a Petrović takedown. Petrović got to her feet and rolled for a kneebar. Carolina worked to take Petrović’s back, but Petrović turned over into Carolina’s guard. Petrović attempted a toe hold in a scramble and then an inverted heel hook. Carolina figure-foured her legs and stood, and the fighters traded punches until the end of the fight.Back-and-forth round. 10-9 Carolina.

Winner: Luana Carolina by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 9-4-0.

 

Alexander “King Kong” Romanov vs Blagoy “Baga” Ivanov

Round 1:
Nothing happened in the first minute until Romanov finally connected with a left hook. Ivanov landed one in response and he countered a Romanov leg kick with an overhand left. Ivanov cracked Romanov with a hard jab-cross combo and Romanov landed two more leg kicks. He followed with two left hooks and clinched in the final seconds. Close round. 10-9 Romanov.

Round 2:
Jabs were exchanged in round two and Romanov landed an inside-leg kick. Ivanov threw a left hook to the body and ate another leg kick. Romanov punched his way into a clinch and he took Ivanov down into half-guard. He landed left hands to Ivanov’s face all the way until the end of the round. 10-9 Romanov.

Round 3:
The fighters traded leg kicks and jabs in the final round. Ivanov landed an uppercut and Romanov tied him up in a clinch. The fighters separated and Romanov ran forward with a jumping switch knee to the body. He followed that up with a knee to Ivanov’s ribs and then an overhand left. After landing a right hook, Romanov clinched and he took Ivanov down into half-guard with five seconds remaining. Romanov closed out the fight with ground and pound from the top. 10-9 Romanov.

Winner: Alexander Romanov by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 17-2-0.
