Christos “The Spartan” Giagos vs Ricky “The Gladiator” Glenn

Round 1:
Glenn pawed out with jabs and Giagos landed a hard leg kick. Seconds later, Giagos connected with a lead left hook that froze Glenn in place and sent him crashing face-first to the canvas.

Winner: Christos Giagos by KO (Punch) at 1:35 of round one. He improves to 20-10-0.

 

Montel “Quik” Jackson vs Rani Yahya

Round 1:
Leg kicks were exchanged and Jackson landed a quick one-two combo. He followed with a lead right hook and an overhand left. Yahya got him down to a knee, but Jackson reversed into top position. Yahya tried to set up a submission on Jackson’s right arm and the fight returned to the feet. Seconds later, Jackson countered a leg kick with a left hook that dropped Yahya. He followed with punches on the ground that knocked Yahya out and ended the fight.

Winner: Montel Jackson by KO (Punches) at 3:42 of round one. He improves to 13-2-0.

 

Norma “The Immortal” Dumont Viana vs Karol Rosa

Round 1:
Rosa landed a right hook a minute into the fight and Dumont answered with a knee to the body during a brief clinch. Punches were exchanged and Dumont held Rosa against the cage. The fighters were eventually separated and Dumont landed a lead left hook. Rosa countered punches from Dumont with two knees to the body at the bell. 10-9 Dumont.

Round 2:
Dumont landed a trio of jab-cross combos that backed Rosa up and she followed with a four-punch combo before clinching. A cut was opened on Rosa’s right eyelid and blood poured from it. Dumont landed an elbow over the top and kept Rosa pinned in place. Rosa pushed her away with just over two minutes remaining and then initiated a clinch of her own. She tried to sweep out Dumont’s leg and threw occasional elbows in close. 10-9 Dumont due to the early damage.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of leg kicks and Dumont threw a quick one-two. She jabbed and Rosa answered with a leg kick and an overhand right. Rosa charged at Dumont with lunging punches and Dumont tied her up in a clinch. Dumont landed an elbow and Rosa reversed the clinch. Dumont threw her down to the mat and Rosa immediately returned to her feet. She dropped Dumont with a right hook and Dumont quickly stood back up. Rosa pinned her against the fence and scored with an elbow over the top. With 30 seconds to go, Rosa landed a right hook and briefly threw Dumont to the mat. 10-9 Rosa.

Winner: Norma Dumont Viana by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 9-2-0.

 

Mohammed “The Motor” Usman vs Junior “The Juggernaut” Tafa

Round 1:
After a cautious opening minute, Usman clinched with Tafa against the cage. Tafa countered with a knee and Usman almost took his back. He kept Tafa pinned against the fence until Tafa broke free with a left hook. He chased after Usman with wild punches and then landed a hard elbow. Usman briefly clinched and Tafa landed a head kick after breaking free. 10-9 Tafa.

Round 2:
Tafa connected with a right-left combo and then an overhand right as Usman backed up. He followed with a lead left hook and Usman clinched. He finally got Tafa down and landed occasional elbows while holding Tafa in place. Usman threw laboured punches to Tafa’s body and kept him down until the bell. Not a good round. 10-9 Usman due to control.

Round 3:
Usman clinched early in the final round and he took Tafa down against the base of the cage. From top position in Tafa’s half-guard, Usman looked to trap his left arm while throwing short punches to Tafa’s face. Usman landed more short strikes as the round progressed until Tafa powered out from the bottom and got to his feet. He elbowed the side of Usman’s head and landed a big uppercut late in the fight. 10-9 Usman.

Winner: Mohammed Usman by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-2-0.

 

William “The Jaguar” Gomis vs Francis “Fire” Marshall

Round 1:
Gomies landed a leg kick and fought his way free from a brief clinch from Marshall. Gomis grazed with a head kick and then threw a second one that was narrowly blocked in time. Marshall landed a right cross and then shot in for a takedown. He held Gomis against the cage until the end of the close round. 10-9 Gomis due to damage.

Round 2:
Marshall landed a right hook to begin round two and Gomis countered with a hard knee to the body before taking Marshall’s back. Marshall turned into the clinch and the fighters separated. Gomis landed kicks to Marshall’s lead leg and body. Gomis used his jab to set up a left cross and time was called when Marshall was kicked in the groin. Action continued and Gomis landed a leg kick. 10-9 Gomis.

Round 3:
Marshall connected with a right hook in the final round and tried to close the distance. Gomis circled away and he jabbed, but Marshall scored a double-leg takedown and took partial back control as Gomis tried to stand up. Marshall locked on a tight rear-naked choke, but Gomis escaped and he also managed to break free from an arm-triangle choke. Marshall closed out the round with elbows and punches to the side of Gomis’s head. 10-9 Marshall.

Winner: William Gomis by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 12-2-0.

 

Brady “Bam Bam” Hiestand vs Danaa “Storm” Batgerel

Round 1:
Hiestand circled on the outside and threw occasional jabs and front kicks while Batgerel tried to close the distance and landed leg kicks. Batgerel reversed a clinch and briefly threw Hiestand down to the ground. He landed a right hand as Hiestand got back to his feet. Hiestand threw a body kick and Batgerel answered with a lead left hook. He stunned Hiestand with another left hand after stuffing a takedown and then followed with a knee. Batgerel charged at Hiestand with a flurry of punches late in the round, but Hiestand landed a counter left hand that dropped him to a knee momentarily. Batgerel stood and threw another combination before the bell. 10-9 Batgerel.

Round 2:
Batgerel dropped Hiestand with a lead left hook as soon as the second round began. Hiestand stood and shot in for a takedown, but Batgerel punished him with elbows to the side of his head. Batgerel wound up on top, but Hiestand managed to scramble and he took Batgerel’s back. Hiestand hunted for a rear-naked choke and then grabbed on to Batgerel’s leg in search of a Suloev Stretch. Batgerel defended and Hiestand went back to rear-naked choke attempts as blood poured from his nose due to the strikes from Batgerel earlier in the round. Batgerel turned over into Hiestand’s guard and struck with elbows from the top. Hiestand managed to get to his feet and Batgerel jabbed late in the round. 10-9 Batgerel.

Round 3:
Hiestand landed an early left hook and a leg kick. Batgerel jabbed until Hiestand landed a solid overhand right. He followed with another right hand and then a lead left hook. Hiestand took Batgerel down and he landed punches to both sides of Batgerel’s head as Batgerel got to a knee. Hiestand continued to throw left hands as Batgerel failed to move and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Brady Hiestand by TKO (Punches) at 4:21 of round three. He improves to 7-2-0.
