Gregory “Robocop” Rodrigues vs Jun Yong “The Iron Turtle” Park

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Keith Peterson. Rodrigues landed a nice combination in the opening minute and he checked two calf kicks from Park. The fighters continued to exchange punches and Rodrigues dumped Park to the mat after catching a kick. Rodrigues moved from mount to back control and he trapped Park in a body triangle. Rodrigues hunted for a rear-naked choke and he landed three hard elbows to the side of his face late in the round. 10-9 Rodrigues.

Round 2:
Park backed Rodrigues up with a flurry of punches in the second round that set off an exchange, with both men landing punches near the cage wall. Rodrigues took Park down and he escaped from a Park guillotine choke. Park battled back to his feet and backed Rodrigues up for a second time with another series of left and right hooks. Rodrigues covered up and he briefly tripped Park to the ground. Park stood and both fighters landed overhand rights. Rodrigues appeared to slow down and Park landed punch after punch. Just when he seemed to be fading, Rodrigues landed a right hook that backed Park up. He wobbled Park with another right hook and then followed up with two uppercuts as Park wilted against the cage and appeared to momentarily lose consciousness, prompting referee Keith Peterson to stop the fight.

Winner: Gregory Rodrigues by KO (Punches) at 3:13 of round two. He improves to 11-3-0.

 

Mason “The Dragon” Jones vs David “Silent Assassin” Onama

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jason Herzog. Both men landed hard jabs early in the fight and Jones stunned Onama with a right hook. He clinched with Onama and landed punches in close, then took him down into half-guard. An elbow landed for Jones and Onama scrambled up to his feet. Jones maintained back control and he dragged Onama down again. Onama stood up and turned into the clinch, but Jones used a body-lock takedown to get him down and he mounted Onama seconds later. Onama gave up his back as Jones used punches to set up a rear-naked choke attempt. Onama escaped and swept into top position. He briefly struck from the top and the fight returned to the feet. Both men landed punching combinations and Onama lunged forward with a final flurry late in the round. 10-9 Jones.

Round 2:
The second round began with both men landing jab-cross combos, but Jones kept the pressure on Onama and outlanded him with punches before shooting in for a takedown. Onama countered with elbows to the side of his head, but Jones dragged him down into back control. Onama shook him off and rose to his feet, then backed Jones up with a four-punch flurry. Jones clinched and tripped Onama to a knee. Time was called when Jones landed an illegal knee – albeit a very weak one – to the side of Onama’s head. The fight continued and Jones countered a right hand from Onama by clinching. He took Onama’s back and threw knees to his thigh. Jones dragged Onama down to the ground and finished the round in back control. 10-9 Jones.

Round 3:
Onama countered a body kick with an overhand left early in the final round. He stunned Jones with two more punches, but a wobbled Jones still managed to take Onama down and he quickly passed to mount. Jones worked for an arm-triangle choke and Onama rolled to his side and stood up. Jones slammed him back down, but Onama swept from the bottom and he briefly stood up against the cage. Jones took Onama down yet again and threw right hands to the side of his face. Onama was able to get back to his feet once more and he landed a hard right cross. A final flurry from Onama stunned Jones, but he held on in a clinch until the bell. Close final round. 10-9 Jones.

Winner: Mason Jones by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 11-1-0, 1 NC.

 

Tabatha “Baby Shark” Ricci vs Maria de Oliveira Neta

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Keith Peterson. Ricci pawed out with right hands early in the fight and she cracked Oliveira with a big right hook that led to a clinch. Oliveira broke free and Ricci blocked a head kick. She landed two more right hooks and grazed with an uppercut. Oliveira landed a right hand of her own and Ricci shot in for a takedown. Oliveira stuffed it and the fighters separated after exchanging knees to the body. Both women landed leg kicks and Ricci took Oliveira down after catching a kick. She stood over Oliveira and dropped punches, and Oliveira countered with an upkick. 10-9 Ricci.

Round 2:
Time was called early in the second round when Oliveira was poked in the eye. The fight continued and Ricci landed two knees to the body during a brief clinch. Oliveira landed kicks to both of Ricci’s legs and Ricci responded by taking her down into side control. She mounted Oliveira and landed punches and elbows to her face. Oliveira kicked off of the cage and scrambled free from the bottom. Back on the feet, Ricci landed a three-punch combo and she followed with an overhand right as Oliveira pressed forward. Ricci took Oliveira down and she landed right hands to Oliveira’s face and body. 10-9 Ricci.

Round 3:
Punches were exchanged in the final round and Ricci took Oliveira down into full guard. She passed to mount and landed left hands to Oliveira’s face until Oliveira powered out from the bottom and stood up against the cage. The fighters separated and Ricci took Oliveira down after catching a kick. Ricci landed elbows and punches from the top during the final minute while Oliveira held on from the bottom. 10-9 Ricci.

Winner: Tabatha Ricci by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 6-1-0.

 

Jamie “The Nightwolf” Pickett vs Laureano “El Matador” Staropoli

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Mike Beltran. Pickett struck first with a left cross and he prevented Staropoli from taking him down. Staropoli continued to try to get the fight to the ground, to no avail. Pickett landed two knees to the body and the fighters were separated. Staropoli immediately shot in for a takedown and Pickett balanced on one leg. The fight returned to a clinch, but this time Pickett reversed it against the cage and he landed two right hands to Staropoli’s face. Staropoli broke free with a knee to Pickett’s face that backed him up. Close round. 10-9 Pickett by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Staropoli looked for a takedown again in the second round, but it was Pickett who tripped Staropoli to the mat and he held back control momentarily. Staropoli stood back up and both men landed short knees to the body in a clinch. Staropoli broke away with two punches and he backed Pickett up with a lead left hook. Staropoli clinched with him, but Pickett was able to push him away. A combination landed for Pickett and Staropoli clinched again. He dumped Pickett to the mat just before the bell sounded. 10-9 Staropoli.

Round 3:
The final round began with a takedown from Staropoli, but Pickett quickly stood up and he scored a takedown of his own. The fighters returned to their feet and Pickett landed a knee to Staropoli’s hip. Staropoli falsely indicated that the knee had struck him in the groin, which it did not, and time was called while he recovered. Action resumed and Staropoli held Pickett against the fence. Pickett countered with knees to the body and he reversed the clinch with 30 seconds to go. Time was called again due to a knee to Staropoli’s groin, which was indeed an illegal knee this time around. Pickett landed a jumping knee during a spirited final few seconds before the end of the fight. 10-9 Pickett. The decision could go either way.

Winner: Jamie Pickett by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-6-0.

 

Jai “The Black Country Banger” Herbert vs Khama “The Deathstar” Worthy

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Chris Tognoni. After an early right hand from Worthy, both men landed leg kicks and Herbert followed with two kicks to the body. Worthy landed another leg kick and an overhand right. Herbert ate a strong leg kick from Worthy and limped briefly, but he lunged forward with a right cross. Worthy blocked a head kick, but Herbert unloaded with a barrage of punches and he landed four power hooks that wobbled Worthy and dropped him face-first to the mat. He tried to latch on to Herbert’s leg, but Herbert landed four more punches to Worthy’s face that hurt him again and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Jai Herbert by TKO (Punches) at 2:47 of round one. He improves to 11-3-0.

 

Jeff “El Jefe” Molina vs Daniel “Miojo” Lacerda da Silva

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Keith Peterson. Following an exchange of kicks, Lacerda jumped on Molina’s back and tried to secured a standing rear-naked choke. He used it to drag Molina down to the mat and then transitioned to an armbar. Molina freed his arm and he struck from the top with punches and elbows in Lacerda’s guard. Lacerda countered with a triangle choke attempt and another armbar. Molina escaped and he rained down hammerfists until Lacerda spun into another armbar attempt. Once more, Molina escaped, and he resumed punching from the top. Molina continued to land hammerfists and he prevented Lacerda from sweeping. The round ended with Molina blasting Lacerda with hammerfists to his face. 10-9 Molinda despite Lacerda’s submission attempts.

Round 2:
Molina dropped Lacerda with a right hand to begin the second round and he dove in with more punches on the ground as Lacerda covered up. Molina switched to elbows as he mounted Lacerda, and Lacerda gave up his back. Molina landed a series of punches and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Jeff Molina by TKO (Elbows & Punches) at 0:46 of round two. He improves to 10-2-0.

 

Randa “Quiet Storm” Markos vs Livia Renata “Livinha” Souza

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jason Herzog. Markos secured an early clinch against the cage and she landed a hard elbow to Souza’s left cheek. Souze briefly reversed the clinch, but Markos held her against the fence again and she scored with short knees to Souza’s leg and body. Souza broke free near the halfway point in the round, but Markos clinched again and Souza countered with a headlock throw into a scarf hold armlock on the ground. Markos refused to submit and Souza began to land punches to her face. As Markos tried to scramble free, Souza took her back and locked on a rear-naked choke. Markos prevented Souza from sinking in both hooks and she was able to spin free. The fighters returned to their feet and Markos secured a late takedown into Souza’s guard. Back-and-forth round. 10-9 Souza due to the submission attempts.

Round 2:
Souza opened the second round with a clinch against the cage and she slammed Markos down into side control. Markos quickly got back to full guard and she tied Souza up from the bottom. Souza managed to break free and passed to half-guard, but Markos rose to her feet against the cage. She pushed Souza down to the mat and took top position in Souza’s half-guard. Markos landed short elbows to Souza’s face and she prevented Souza from getting back to her feet. More elbows scored for Markos with 30 seconds to go and Souza postured for an armbar. Markos escaped and she continued to strike with elbows as Souza eyed a late-round heel hook. 10-9 Markos.

Round 3:
Markos lunged forward with a hard jab and she flurried with punches and two elbows that backed Souza up against the cage. A big right hand landed for Markos and she followed up with four more punches. Souza secured a much-needed throw into the scarf hold position, but this time Markos swept and she landed short left hands before attempting a rear-naked choke during a ground scramble. Souza escaped, but she wound up on the bottom with Markos landing elbows. Another scramble followed and Markos transitioned to a rear crucifix position. He landed elbows to the side of Souza’s head and then retook top position in side control. In the final seconds, Markos moved back to a rear crucifix and she landed hammerfists and elbows to the side of Souza’s head. 10-9 Markos.

Winner: Randa Markos by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 11-11-1.

 

Jonathan “Dragon” Martinez vs Zviad Lazishvili

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Chris Tognoni. Lazishvili initiated a clinch in the opening minute and he held Martinez against the cage while working for takedowns. Martinez defended well and remained on his feet, and he eventually broke free from the clinch. Martinez landed kicks to Lazishvili’s lower leg and Lazishviliresponded with leg kicks of his own. Martinez kept his distance and he darted in with a combination. The fighters continued to trade leg kicks in the final minute. 10-9 Martinez by a slim margin.

Round 2:
The fighters continued to exchange kicks in the second round, and Martinez mixed up his strikes with kicks to Lazishvili’s lead leg and body. He followed with a one-two and Lazishvili jabbed in return. Martinez threw a head kick and time was very briefly called when Lazishvili was poked in the eye. The fight quickly continued and Martinez threw kicks to Lazishvili’s upper body. He landed two more kicks before time expired. 10-9 Martinez.

Round 3:
Martinez used his jab to pick Lazishvili apart in the final round, and he followed with quick one-twos until Lazishvili shot in for a takedown. Martinez stuffed it and he continued to jab from a distance while mixing in body kicks. Lazishvili struggled to find his range with his punches and Martinez landed a nice right-left combo in the final minute. Martinez followed up on a punching flurry with two body kicks before the end of the fight. 10-9 Martinez.

Winner: Jonathan Martinez by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 14-4-0.
