Bruno “Blindado” Silva vs Andrew “El Dirte” Sanchez
Round 1:
Silva attacked with hard right hooks to the body right away and he landed an uppercut to Sanchez’s jaw before Sanchez circled to his left. He took Silva down and prevented him from standing up against the cage. Silva eventually resorted to throwing elbows to the top and sides of Sanchez’s head. He kicked Sanchez off with one minute to go and stood up. Time was called when Silva was kneed in the groin. The fight continued and both fighters threw kicks at the same time. Silva was struck in the groin again and he dropped to the mat in obvious pain. Action resumed after a moment and Sanchez landed a right hand. 10-9 Sanchez due to control.
Round 2:
Sanchez took Silva’s back and dumped him to the mat early in the second round. Silva stood and turned into the clinch as Sanchez took him down again. On the way down, Silva landed a strong right hand and a series of elbows. He battled back to his feet and grabbed the cage as Sanchez worked for a takedown, but Sanchez got him down anyway and threw right hands to Silva’s face. When Silva stood up, he was dumped to the mat again. He got up once more, but fell to his back and Sanchez held side control for a few seconds. Silva stood and the rounded ended with him covering up as Sanchez threw four hooks. 10-9 Sanchez.
Round 3:
Silva opened round three with two uppercuts and Sanchez countered with a left hook. He blocked a head kick, but Silva scored with punches to his head and body. Time was called when Silva was kicked in the groin and Sanchez was docked one point. Silva landed big punches after the break and he stunned Sanchez with right hands to his face and body. He targeted Sanchez’s liver with a kic and a left hook. An exhausted Sanchez stood against the cage as Silva landed more punches, but then Silva slowed down as well. Both men landed wild punches and Silva backed Sanchez up against the cage one final time. He flurried with punches to Sanchez’s face as Sanchez wilted and the fight was stopped.
Winner: Bruno Silva by TKO (Punches) at 2:35 of round three. He improves to 21-6-0.
Danny “Hot Chocolate” Roberts vs Ramazan “Gorets” Emeev
Round 1:
Following a cautious opening minute, Emeev landed a hard right hook as Roberts threw an inside leg kick. Emeev easily took Roberts down and he landed a left hand to his face as Roberts tried to stand up. Emeev kept him down and Roberts postured for a triangle choke from the bottom. Emeev avoided it and took Roberts’s back, but Roberts managed to get back to his feet against the cage. Emeev landed a right hook and Roberts looked for a takedown of his own. Emeev defended well and he landed a right cross and an elbow before the bell. 10-9 Emeev.
Round 2:
Roberts sprawled out of an Emeev takedown attempt in round two and he landed a knee to the body after Emeev clinched. Emeev pulled Roberts to the mat with a rolling kimura attempt, but Roberts freed his arm and stood up, and he landed a nice combination while pressing forward. Emeev briefly took Roberts’s back in a clinch, but Roberts turned into the clinch and landed a hard left hook. Emeev began to bleed from his nose, but he got Roberts down and Roberts attempted another triangle choke. Emeev escaped into side control and then tried for a Brabo choke in a scramble. The fighters returned to their feet and Roberts scored a takedown, only to be quickly reversed. Punches were exchanged and Roberts landed an elbow late in the round. 10-9 Roberts by a slim margin.
Round 3:
Roberts pressed the action with punches to Emeev’s head and body in the final round. Emeev responded with a takedown attempt and Roberts defended well. He landed three hard knees to Emeev’s body and more punches were exchanged, with Emeev landing a nice right hand. He got Roberts down to a knee, but could not keep him there and the fighters continued to exchange knees in a clinch. Both men threw big power hooks as the fight entered its final minute and Roberts landed a straight left. The fight ended with both men throwing punches and Emeev landed three looping hooks. 10-9 Roberts. Decision could go either way.
Winner: Danny Roberts by Split Decision (30-27, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 18-5-0.
Luana “Dread” Carolina vs “Loopy” Lupita Godinez
Round 1:
Godinez opened the fight with an overhand right and Carolina answered with a knee. Godinez clinched and both women landed knees while battling for position against the cage. Godinez took Carolina’s back, but Carolina turned into the clinch and the fighters separated. Godinez caught a kick and backed Carolina up against the cage. She got Carolina down, but Carolina got back to her knees. She almost reversed into top position, but Godinez rolled through and wound up on top in side control. She moved to North-South position and then dropped back for an armbar attempt on Carolina’s right arm, but time expired before she could get it. 10-9 Godinez.
Round 2:
The second round began with another clinch against the cage and Carolina countered with knees. Godinez landed an uppercut and Carolina broke away. Godinez caught a kick and shot in for a takedown as Carolina maintained her balance against the cage. She escaped from the clinch and landed hammerfists to the side of Godinez’s head after Godinez latched on to her leg. The fighters separated and both women landed left hands. Caroline followed with a step-in knee and a leg kick, but Godinez snapped her head back with an overhand right. She blocked a head kick from Carolina, who connected with two quick punches and a leg kick. Godinez dragged her down to a knee, but Carolina stood up and threw hammerfists to the side of her head. 10-9 Carolina.
Round 3:
Godinez initiated a clinch in the final round, but Carolina defended well and she landed knees to Godinez’s upper body. Godinez tripped Carolina to a knee and Carolina immediately stood up. Back in the centre of the cage, Carolina landed a body kick and Godinez scored with a hard right hand. As Godinez clinched, Carolina landed two knees and an elbow over the top. Godinez took her back, but Carolina stayed on her feet and she broke free with one minute remaining. Godinez ducked under a head kick attempt and she pursued a takedown, but Carolina countered with two more knees. Godinez was unable to take her down before the final bell. Close round. 10-9 Carolina.
Winner: Luana Carolina by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 8-2-0.
Danaa “Storm” Batgerel vs Brandon “Killer B” Davis
Round 1:
Batgerel dropped Davis to a knee with an overhand right in the opening minute, but Davis quickly returned to his feet. He ate another right hand from Batgerel, who followed with a lead left hook. Batgerel flurried with punches and dropped Davis again with an overhand right. As a wounded Davis got back to his feet, Batgerel swarmed on him with punches and knees. Davis dropped down to his knees and turtled, and the fight was stopped.
Winner: Danaa Batgerel by TKO (Punches & Knees) at 2:01 of round one. He improves to 10-2-0.
Ariane “Sorriso” Carnelossi vs Istela Nunes
Round 1:
Carnelossi landed an overhand right and pressed forward in an effort to clinch as Nunes countered with a quick combination. Carnelossi closed in again and Nunes tagged her with another counter flurry. Carnelossi took Nunes down despite two fence grabs from Nunes and briefly struck from the top. Nunes scrambled up to her feet and Carnelossi clinched after ducking under a left hook. Nunes stayed on her feet and landed knees to the body. More knees were exchanged and Nunes eventually broke free from the clinch. Nunes landed two leg kicks and a left hook while keeping her distance. Both women landed right hands at the bell. 10-9 Nunes, barely, due to landing the better strikes.
Round 2:
Hard punches were exchanged right away in the second round and Carnelossi tied Nunes up in a clinch until she was able to take Nunes down against the cage. Nunes worked back to her feet and she eventually separated from the clinch. A body kick scored for Nunes and she stayed outside of Carnelossi’s punching range. Carnelossi clinched and got Nunes down once more. She landed short right hands from the top and the round ended with an exchange of knees to the body after Nunes stood up. 10-9 Carnelossi.
Round 3:
Following an early punching exchange, Carnelossi landed a strong one-two and a left hook to the liver. Nunes continued to circle away as Carnelossi chased after her. She clinched and took Nunes down despite another Nunes fence grab. Carnelossi took Nunes’s back and hunted for a rear-naked choke. She secured it after a few seconds and Nunes tapped out.
Winner: Ariane Carnelossi by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:57 of round three. She improves to 14-2-0.
