“Meatball” Molly McCann vs Ji Yeon “Firefist” Kim

Round 1:
Kim had early success with two leg kicks, but McCann closed the distance and landed two looping hooks that snapped Kim’s head back and forced her to retreat. McCann landed another left hand and the fighters clinched. Kim broke away once and McCann clinched again. Kim pushed her away and the fighters clashed heads while McCann charged in again. She fell to her knees and Kim punched the side of her head. McCann rose to her feet and tried to take Kim’s back, but it was Kim who got back control and she used it to hold McCann against the fence while landing knees to her thighs. With 40 seconds to go, McCann broke free and she threw punches while moving forward. The strikes came up short and Kim landed a counter combination, but McCann finished the round strong with a three-punch flurry. Close round. 10-9 Kim by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Early in the second round, Kim landed a quick left-right combo, but McCann continued to walk her down and showed no respect for Kim’s power. McCann landed two punches and ate a right cross in return. McCann tried to clinch twice and Kim pushed her away both times. McCann landed a lead left hook and followed with a right. She lunged forward with a left hand and kept Kim on the defensive with more punches in succession. Big punches were exchanged shortly before the bell and McCann took Kim down. 10-9 McCann.

Round 3:
McCann’s lead left hooks continued to land on the right side of Kim’s face in the final round. While backing up, Kim landed a counter right hook and a shovel uppercut. She jabbed and McCann flurried while closing the distance. McCann remained the aggressor and Kim circled to her left to try to avoid McCann’s punches. McCann switched things up by throwing a spinning back kick that landed to Kim’s stomach. McCann marched forward with her hands down, then cracked Kim with a left-right-left combo in the final seconds. 10-9 McCann.

Winner: Molly McCann by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 11-4-0.

 

Jack “Tank” Shore vs Liudvik Sholinian

Round 1:
Neither fighter landed anything substantial in the opening two minutes of the fight, but Shore caught a kick and he was active with punches and elbows from the top after taking Sholinian down. Shore passed to side control, then locked on an arm-triangle choke while passing to the other side. Sholinian stayed calm and Shore let go of the choke in order to move to mount. Sholinian exploded out from the bottom and stood up, and Shore landed two elbows in a clinch. 10-9 Shore.

Round 2:
Sholinian was strongly warned early in round two for extending his fingers. After the restart, Shore landed a jab and a body kick. He took Sholinian down and held back control momentarily. Sholinian battled back to his feet against the cage and the fighters traded punches after separating. Shore landed long jabs that kept Sholinian at a distance. Sholinian shot in for a takedown attempt and Shore easily stuffed it. Another takedown attempt was thwarted by Shore. He broke away from the clinch and Sholinian scored with an overhand right. Shore kicked at Sholinian’s legs while backing up late in the round. 10-9 Shore.

Round 3:
Sholinian was unable to put much weight on his lead leg due to the kicks from Shore in the opening ten minutes, but he still moved forward and tried to land punches. Shore replied with a body kick and a right hook, and the fighters clinched against the cage. Shore landed knees to Sholinian’s body until Sholinian pushed him away. Punches were exchanged and Sholinian worked for a takedown. Shore had none of it and he landed a head kick on the break. Sholinian ducked into an uppercut and Shore wobbled him with a one-two. Sholinian recovered quickly and Shore landed a final leg kick before the end of the fight. 10-9 Shore.

Winner: Jack Shore by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 15-0-0.

 

Julian “Juicy J” Erosa vs Charles “Air” Jourdain

Round 1:
Erosa caught a body kick and backed Jourdain up to the cage in the opening minute. Jourdain circled away and Erosa landed a straight right hand. Once more, Erosa caught a Jourdain kick and this time he countered with a knee. Jourdain threw two body kicks and Erosa landed a left hook to the liver. Two straight left hands scored for Jourdain and Erosa tied him up in a clinch against the cage. Jourdain pushed him away and just missed with a body kick. Erosa wobbled Jourdain with a counter uppercut and he landed two more right hooks before the bell. 10-9 Erosa.

Round 2:
Jourdain landed a left hook, leg kick combo early in the second round and Erosa responded with the same two strikes in return. He stepped forward with a knee and a head kick attempt. Jourdain landed two hooks in return and he jumped in the air as Erosa threw a front kick. The kick struck Jourdain in the groin and time was briefly called. When action resumed, Jourdain landed a strong left hook. Erosa continued to attack the body with kicks and a lead left hook, but Jourdain’s counterpunches were crisp and he dropped Erosa with a short left hook. Erosa returned to his feet and the fighters traded leg kicks and left hands until Erosa landed a combination at the bell. Closer round. 10-9 Jourdain due to the knockdown.

Round 3:
Big power punches were exchanged early in the final round and Jourdain landed some hard punches that prompted Erosa to take him down. Jourdain battled back to his feet, but Erosa greeted him with three hard knees to the body and he pinned him against the fence. Erosa tripped Jourdain and locked on a Brabo choke as Jourdain tried to stand. He used it to pull Jourdain back down to the mat and Jourdain tapped out within seconds.

Winner: Julian Erosa by Submission (Brabo Choke) at 2:56 of round three. He improves to 25-10-0.

 

Marc-André “Power Bar” Barriault vs Dalcha “Champion” Lungiambula

Round 1:
Lungiambula grazed with a winging overhand right in the opening minute and Barriault kept his distance. He eventually backed Lungiambula up to the cage and cracked him with two hard right hands. He landed more rights and Lungiambula responded with an uppercut. He charged at Barriault, then whipped him down to the mat. Barriault stood and escaped from a front headlock. Both men missed with wild right hooks and Barriault threw a front kick to the body. In the final 30 seconds, Barriault landed a right cross and Lungiambula took him down. Barriault worked back to his feet and landed a body kick and a right hand before the bell. 10-9 Barriault.

Round 2:
Barriault opened the second round with a right cross that set off an exchange of punches. Barriault mixed in body kicks and a straight right to Lungiambula’s sternum. Lungiambula caught a kick and spun Barriault around, then landed a kick of his own to Barriault’s chest. Barriault kept Lungiambula backing up by pressuring him with punches and he stuffed a Lungiambula takedown attempt. Lungiambula landed two knees to the body and an uppercut as the fighters traded strikes in close quarters. Barriault walked forward throwing overhand rights and lefts, and time was called when he was kicked in the groin. The fight resumed and Lungiambula missed with a looping right hand. 10-9 Barriault.

Round 3:
Barriault remained the aggressor in the final round and he backed Lungiambula up against the cage. Lungiambula extended his fingers and poked Barriault in the eye. Time was called and the doctor came in to check on Barriault. He was able to continue after moment and action resumed. Barriault landed a hard right cross and ate one from Lungiambula in return. Lungiambula dove at Barriault’s ankles to try to take him down, but Barriault sprawled well and returned to his feet. He landed a quick combination and Lungiambula countered with a right hook while keeping his back against the cage. Both fighters teed off with right hooks and Barriault landed uppercuts as well. Lungiambula backed up all the way across the cage, but he still landed some solid right hooks while retreating. Power punches were exchanged all the way until the bell, with Barriault landing a right hook in the dying seconds. 10-9 Barriault.
