One of the bantamweight division’s top prospects, Jéssica “Bate Estaca” Andrade, spoiled the Octagon debut of Jungle Fight champ Larissa Moreira Pacheco tonight at UFC Fight Night 51: “Bigfoot vs Arlovski 2” in Brasilia, Brasil. Andrade submitted Pacheco with her signature guillotine choke.
Pacheco, who turned 20 years old earlier this month, entered tonight’s main card bout on relatively short notice but with momentum on her side and an unblemished record. Andrade dominated the brief fight on the mat, however, and the talented rising star has now won three straight inside the Octagon.
Andrade (12-3-0) traded punches with Pacheco (10-1-0) in the opening seconds of the bout and she took the fight to the ground soon after. From there, Andrade controlled the action from top position with punches and short elbows that led to guillotine and Brabo choke attempts. Pacheco escaped each time, but Andrade kept her pinned down as the round progressed. In the final minute, Pacheco tried to scramble back to her feet and Andrade took the opportunity to lock on a tight guillotine choke. She rolled into mount and cranked back on Pacheco’s neck, forcing Pacheco to hastily submit.
Tonight’s impressive victory extended Andrade’s current winning streak to three and she continues her climb up the ranks of the competitive women’s bantamweight division. At just 22 years of age, the Brazilian standout, who spent most of her early career competing at 121 pounds before moving up to bantamweight, continues to improve her skills at a rapid rate.
Winner: Jéssica Andrade by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 4:33 of round one. She improves to 12-3-0.

Three straight wins in the UFC now for Andrade, and each time out she gets better. This girl may well be a top 5 contender at this point.
Wow… was I wrong… Incredible! Cheers!
