Jéssica Andrade Submits Milana Dudieva At ProFC 47 In RussiaBrazilian rising star Jéssica “Bate Estaca” Andrade earned the biggest win of her career on Sunday night in a featured bantamweight bout at ProFC 47 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Andrade submitted veteran Russian standout Milana Dudieva with a guillotine choke late in the second and final round.

Andrade dropped Dudieva early in the fight and she controlled the action on the ground with strikes and submission attempts. As a fatigued Dudieva slowed down in round two, Andrade scored with punching combinations and pulled guard with a tight guillotine choke that forced Dudieva to submit.

Both fighters looked to score a quick knockout as they exchanged heavy punches in the opening seconds. Andrade (9-2-0) took advantage of her opponent’s wild punches by dropping Dudieva (8-2-0) with a counter right hook. She attempted a guillotine choke as Dudieva stood up, but the Russian fighter responded by slamming Andrade onto her back. Andrade maintained her grip on the choke and transitioned to an armbar, but Dudieva fought free and got back to her feet.

Dudieva promptly threw Andrade down to the mat and used slams to try to escape another armbar. The fighters went for duelling heel hooks until the referee stood them up. Andrade punched her way into a clinch and Dudieva locked on a standing guillotine choke. Andrade pulled her head out and landed some hard knees and punches to the body before the end of the entertaining round.

Dudieva tripped Andrade in round two and attempted an armbar, but the Brazilian punched her way free with a series of left hands. Andrade passed to half-guard and continued to score with big punches as Dudieva began to fade. She turtled on the ground and Andrade rained down punches until Dudieva finally scrambled and battled back to her feet.

In the late stages of the round, Dudieva tried to pull guard with a guillotine choke and Andrade made her pay with more punches from the top. As Dudieva stood, Andrade locked on an arm-in guillotine choke of her own and a dejected Dudieva was forced to tap out with 26 seconds remaining in the fight.

With the dominant submission victory, Andrade has now won seven of her past eight fights. All nine of her career victories have ended inside the distance and her lone defeats came against highly-touted prospect Kinberly Tanaka Novaes and current Invicta FC contender Jennifer Maia.

Winner: Jéssica Andrade by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 4:34 of round two. She improves to 9-2-0.
