Maryna Moroz vs Justine Kish Added To UFC Fight Night 92Strawweight rising star Maryna “The Iron Woman” Moroz seeks another big victory when she steps back into the Octagon on August 6th at UFC Fight Night 92: “Rodriguez vs Caceres” in Salt Lake City, Utah. Moroz battles undefeated 115-pound standout Justine Kish on the televised main card.

UFC officials announced the matchup this evening. Moroz is coming off of a competitive decision win over Cristina “Barbie” Stanciu at UFC Fight Night 86 in April. Kish posted a controversial Unanimous Decision victory over Nina “The Strina” Ansaroff in her January Octagon debut at UFC 195.

Moroz (7-1-0) made her UFC debut as a massive underdog in April 2015 and shocked many fans by submitting Joanne “JoJo” Calderwood in just 90 seconds at UFC Fight Night 64. The win immediately established Moroz as a strawweight contender, and she was matched up against Valérie “Trouble” Létourneau at UFC Fight Night 74 in August. Létourneau’s size and strength were too much for Moroz, who suffered her first pro loss via Unanimous Decision, but the talented Ukrainian rebounded with an entertaining and action-packed victory over Stanciu in Croatia.

Kish (5-0-0) was slated to compete on The Ultimate Fighter 20 in 2014, but she was forced out of the competition due to a knee injury that kept her sidelined throughout all of 2015. After a lengthy recovery process, Kish made her long-awaited UFC debut in January. She was soundly outstruck by Ansaroff in rounds one and two, and appeared to have clearly lost the fight, but all three judges disagreed and awarded Kish with a contentious decision victory. She puts her perfect record on the line once again when she squares off against Moroz next month.

UFC Fight Night 92: “Rodriguez vs Caceres” takes place on August 6th at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The event is headlined by a featherweight showdown between Yair “El Pantera” Rodriguez and Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres.
