Angela Lee Meets Rebecca Heintzman At ONE: "Tribe Of Warriors"Undefeated rising star Angela “Unstoppable” Lee looks to keep her perfect record intact when she competes on February 20th at ONE Championship 38: “Tribe of Warriors” in Jakarta, Indonesia. The 19-year-old is set to face Rebecca “The Professor” Heintzman in a 120-pound catchweight bout.

ONE officials announced the matchup this week. Lee has quickly risen to become one of the most popular competitors on the ONE roster thanks to her four impressive submission victories in 2015. Heintzman returns to action for the first time since suffering her lone career defeat in June 2014.

Lee (4-0-0) kicked off her MMA career in 2014 with three first-round finishes in amateur bouts before turning pro for ONE this past year. She made her promotional debut in May and quickly finished Aya “Sheklesa” Saber with an armbar early in the first round. Four months later, Lee forced Mona Samir to submit to a first-round rear-naked choke. Not wasting any time, Lee fought two more times before the end of 2015. After scoring a highlight-reel Twister submission of Natalie “The Kilapino” Gonzales Hills, Lee choked out Lena Tkhorevska in the second round at ONE Championship 36 in December.

Heintzman (2-1-0) won all six of her amateur fights in 2012, including three inside the distance, and turned pro for Cage Fury Fighting Championships in October 2013. She earned a second-round submission victory in her pro debut and followed that up with a close decision win over former amateur rival Rachel “The Black Widow” Sazoff in a rematch at CFFC 31. Heintzman’s most recent fight came at CFFC 37 when she dropped a Unanimous Decision to newly-crowned CFFC Women’s Flyweight Champion Katlyn Chookagian. She now returns to action in hopes of upsetting Lee later this month.

ONE Championship 38: “Tribe of Warriors” takes place on February 20th at Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia. The bout between Lee and Heintzman will be contested at 120 pounds.

  1. While I’m just glad to see Angela Lee fighting so soon after her last fight, I would’ve thought they would’ve picked someone higher ranked to take on. A victory here won’t do much for her ranking. Assuming a victory here, I hope a SW title fight will be offered to her soon.
