An undisclosed injury has forced Seo Hee Ham out of her strawweight bout against “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings at UFC Fight Night 65: “Miocic vs Hunt” on May 10th in Adelaide, Australia. In Ham’s place, Lisa Ellis has stepped in to face off against TUF 20 rival Rawlings in a must-win fight for both.

UFC officials announced the change earlier today. Ellis and Rawlings were teammates on TUF 20, but the two never got along and Ellis took exception to Rawlings’s perceived bullying of others on the show. The 10-year pro now hopes to spoil ex-teammate Rawlings’s Australian homecoming next month.

Ellis (15-9-0) was one of the most experienced fighters on the TUF 20 roster, but her run on the show ended in the opening elimination round when she was submitted by former Invicta FC opponent Jessica Penne. She made her official Octagon debut at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale and nearly submitted opponent Felice “Lil’ Bulldog” Herrig before ultimately succumbing to an armbar midway through the second round. Including TUF 20, Ellis has dropped five of her past six fights and she needs a big win in order to maintain her spot in the UFC.

Rawlings (5-4-0) faces the same must-win situation as her opponent on next month’s card. The former Invicta FC title challenger has suffered losses in four of her past five fights including a decision defeat against Tecia “The Tiny Tornado” Torres during TUF 20. At The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale, Rawlings faced off against another one of her rivals from the show, “Hurricane” Heather Clark, but Clark overcame a torn ACL and handed Rawlings a Unanimous Decision defeat. A loss to bitter rival Ellis will likely spell the end of Rawlings’s UFC career.

UFC Fight Night 65: “Miocic vs Hunt” takes place on May 10th at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, Australia. The event is headlined by a heavyweight bout between Stipe Miocic and Mark “Super Samoan” Hunt, and also features a second women’s strawweight matchup between Alex “Astro Girl” Chambers and Kailin Curran.
