Zabit Magomedsharipov vs Jeremy “Lil’ Heathen” Stephens

Round 1:
Stephens grazed with an early spinning backfist attempt and Magomedsharipov responded with a body kick. Stephens landed two leg kicks and a right hand, but Magomedsharipov responded right away with hard leg kicks of his own and a head kick. Stephens flurried to the body and head and blocked a spinning backfist. He kept Magomedsharipov on the defensive and landed a kick-punch combo. Time was called after Stephens was kicked in the groin. Action resumed and Magomedsharipov landed a tornado kick, then just missed with a flying kick off of the cage wall. He closed out the round with a hard kick to the body. Close opening round. 10-9 Magomedsharipov due to the late rally.

Round 2:
The second round began with Stephens landing chopping kicks to Magomedsharipov’s lead leg. Time was called once again when Stephens was kicked in the groin, but the fight quickly continued and Stephens landed a combination. Magomedsharipov landed a left hook and a body kick, but Stephens answered right back with a three-punch flurry. Hard punches to the body landed for both fighters and Magomedsharipov scored a takedown. He took Stephens’s back and repeatedly dragged him back down to the mat. Magomedsharipov landed punches and elbows from S-mount and hunted for a rear-naked choke late in the round. 10-9 Magomedsharipov.

Round 3:
Magomedsharipov landed kicks and circled to avoid most of Stephens’s punches in the final round. Two hooks landed to the body for Stephens, but he ate a knee in return. Stephens stuffed a takedown and just missed with a right hand. Both men landed jabs and Stephens looked to set up a knockout strike. He connected with a left-right to the body and head and the fighters traded power punches. Big left hands scored for both and Magomedsharipov took Stephens down just before time expired. Razor-thin round. 10-9 Magomedsharipov.

Winner: Zabit Magomedsharipov by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 17-1-0.

 

Johnny Walker vs Misha Cirkunov

Round 1:
The fighters circled early on until Walker landed a flying knee to the face as Cirkunov shot in for a takedown. Cirkunov collapsed to the mat and covered up as Walker landed a barrage of punches until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Johnny Walker by TKO (Flying Knee & Punches) at 0:36 of round one. He improves to 17-3-0.

 

Cody “The Spartan” Stamann vs Alejandro “Turbo” Perez

Round 1:
Perez kept his distance and avoided looping punches and kicks from Stamann early on. Stamann landed a one-two and Perez answered with a knee. Stamann caught a jumping knee and briefly took Perez down, but the fight quickly returned to the feet and both men landed hooks. Perez scored with a left hook to the liver and an overhand right, which led to another exchange of power punches. Stamann fought through elbows from Perez and dragged him down to the mat just before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Perez, barely.

Round 2:
The second round began with Perez landing another left hook to the body and a right hand over the top. The fighters traded leg kicks and Stamann followed with a front kick. Perez jabbed, but Stamann stunned him with a lead left hook and clinched soon after. After separating, Perez threw a spinning backfist and Stamann missed with a spinning back kick. Stamann pressed forward with a combination and clinched once more, but he was unable to get Perez down. 10-9 Stamann.

Round 3:
Perez dumped Stamann on his head with an elevated slam in the final round, but Stamann returned to his feet and fired off a combination. Perez cracked him with a counter flurry and followed with jab-kick combos. Stamann got Perez down to his knees as Perez sprawled out to defend and referee Chris Tognoni stood the fighters up for no reason. Both men landed punches late in the fight and Perez scored with a kick to the body at the bell. 10-9 Stamann by a narrow margin.

Winner: Cody Stamann by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 18-2-0.

 

Diego “The Nightmare” Sanchez vs Mickey Gall

Round 1:
Gall pressed forward with heavy punches and leg kicks in the opening minute, but Sanchez weathered the storm and initiated a clinch against the cage. He took Gall down and landed knees to the thigh after Gall stood back up. Sanchez took him down two more times and Gall battled back to his feet. He threw back elbow strikes until Sanchez secured another takedown. Sanchez landed elbows to the body and head until the end of the round. 10-9 Sanchez.

Round 2:
Sanchez opened round two with kicks to the lead leg and body of Gall, who slowed way down. The fighters traded left hooks and an exhausted Gall fell after eating a knee to the chest. A scramble followed on the ground and Sanchez used elbows to set up a move to mount. Gall fought back to side control and Sanchez punished him with elbows. Sanchez moved back to mount and landed elbows and punches until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Diego Sanchez by TKO (Elbows & Punches) at 4:13 of round two. He improves to 29-11-0.

 

Edmen “The Golden Boy” Shahbazyan vs Charles “Kid Dynamite” Byrd

Round 1:
Byrd landed a hard leg kick right away and Shahbazyan countered with a combination. Byrd shot in for a takedown, but Shahbazyan sprawled and landed a series of elbows to Byrd’s temple. Byrd fell to the ground and Shahbazyan finished him off with punches.

Winner: Edmen Shahbazyan by TKO (Elbows & Punches) at 0:38 of round one. He improves to 9-0-0.

 

Macy Chiasson vs Gina “Danger” Mazany

Round 1:
Mazany struck first with a left hand, but she ate a series of body kicks and right hooks in return. Mazany landed another left hand and Chiasson clinched with her against the cage. Mazany broke free and Chiasson rushed forward with punches including a massive right hand that sent Mazany crashing face-first to the canvas. Chiasson landed more punches until the fight was waved off.

Winner: Macy Chiasson by KO (Punches) at 1:49 of round one. She improves to 4-0-0.

 

Polyana “Dama de Ferro” Viana vs Hannah “Shockwave” Cifers

Round 1:
Viana opened the action with inside-leg kicks and left hands, and Cifers answered back with overhand rights. She punched to the body and Viana landed kicks in return before jumping guard. Viana worked for a heel hook and a toe hold from the bottom, but Cifers punched her way free and stood up. A huge right hand floored Viana, but she recovered quickly as Cifers kicked at her legs. The fight returned to the feet again and Viana landed a knee, but Cifers pressed forward with more right hands before the bell. 10-9 Cifers.

Round 2:
Both women landed leg kicks early in the second round and Viana briefly dropped Cifers with a counter left hook. Cifers stood and Viana pulled guard once again. She threw elbows from the bottom and worked for armbars throughout the round. Cifers defended well and landed punches from the top as Viana peppered her with hammerfists and more elbows. Viana was the busier fighter with her strikes and she landed short right hands in the final seconds of the round. 10-9 Viana.

Round 3:
Viana landed leg kicks early in round three and Cifers replied with combinations. Viana landed knees and kicks to the upper body that briefly backed Cifers up. Hard right hands landed for both fighters and Viana followed with more knees in a clinch. Cifers broke free with a left hand and followed with another right. Both women landed big combinations late in the fight, as Viana scored with one-twos and Cifers cracked her with a left hook at the bell. 10-9 Viana.

Winner: Hannah Cifers by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 9-3-0.
