Daniel Gustavo “Willycat” Santos vs John “Sexi Mexi” Castañeda

Round 1:
Santos landed a hard leg kick early in the fight, but Castañeda dropped him with a head kick and followed with punches on the ground. Santos kicked him off, but Castañeda dropped back down with more punches and tried to pass to mount. Santos worked back to his feet against the cage and he landed a right cross. Castañeda took him down into half-guard, but Santos battled back to his feet. Castañeda rocked him with another head kick and followed with well over a dozen punches. Castañeda was wobbled twice, but he stayed on his feet and fired back with two elbows and a right hook late in the round. 10-9 Castañeda. Could be a 10-8, but Santos recovered well.

Round 2:
Time was called seconds into round two when Castañeda was kicked in the groin. Action resumed with an exchange of body kicks and Castañeda took Santos down twice. Santos stood and escaped from a front headlock. He went high with a head kick that Castañeda partially blocked. Santos caught a kick and took Castañeda down against the cage. Castañeda stood and Santos landed a knee, followed by a flying knee. A spinning backfist and a big one-two scored for Santos as Castañeda slowed down. Santos landed a head kick and a flurry of punches. He attacked Castañeda’s body with more punches, then dropped him with a knee to the face and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Daniel Gustavo Santos by KO (Knee) at 4:28 of round two. He improves to 9-2-0.

 

Ilir “The Sledgehammer” Latifi vs Alexey “The Boa Constrictor” Oleynik

Round 1:
Latifi took Oleynik down after catching a leg kick and he threw short right hands to Oleynik’s body. Oleynik tied up Latifi’s arms and largely prevented him from doing much damage. Latifi continued to throw short punches whenever he freed an arm and he postured up with some more powerful punches late in the round. 10-9 Latifi.

Round 2:
Oleynik walked forward with jabs and outside-leg kicks in the second round. He landed a front kick to the body and another leg kick, which led to a brief clinch. The fighters separated and Latifi caught a body kick. He took Oleynik down into side control and threw forearm strikes to his face. Oleynik tried to stand up late in the round and Latifi held him down. 10-9 Latifi.

Round 3:
Latifi landed an overhand left and Oleynik answered with a leg kick. Latifi faked a takedown and he landed a hard uppercut during a brief clinch. Oleynik landed a body kick and Latifi held him against the cage. Oleynik broke free once and landed a knee to the body. Latifi clinched with him again, but Oleynik pushed him away and landed an overhand right. Latifi pulled Oleynik down to the ground and took his back as Oleynik stood up. Closer final round. Still 10-9 Latifi.

Winner: Ilir Latifi by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 16-8-0, 1 NC.

 

Joaquim “Netto BJJ” Silva vs Jesse “The Body Snatcher” Ronson

Round 1:
Ronson opened the fight with a side kick to Silva’s body and the fighters traded leg kicks. Ronson landed a jab and followed with a left hand to the body. Silva answered with an overhand right and Ronson attacked his body with a lead right hook. A leg kick and another right hand landed for Ronson, who swarmed on Silva with a four-punch flurry that backed him up. Ronson landed a leg kick and a left hook, but Silva cracked him with a hard right hand in response. He landed a quick combination and bloodied Ronson’s nose with jabs. With mere seconds to go, Silva hurt Ronson with three punches and dropped him with a jumping switch knee. That stole the round back for Silva, who was otherwise uneffective. 10-9 Silva.

Round 2:
Punches were exchanged a minute into the second round and Ronson landed two left hands. Silva grazed with a knee and Ronson jabbed. Silva stepped forward with a short right hook and he countered a Ronson leg kick with a hard jab. Seconds later, Silva dropped Ronson with a flying switch knee. Ronson covered up on the ground as Silva unloaded with punches and hammerfists until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Joaquim Silva by TKO (Flying Knee & Punches) at 3:08 of round two. He improves to 12-3-0.

 

Brendan “All In” Allen vs Krzysztof Jotko

Round 1:
Jotko took Allen down right away and Allen attempted a straight armbar from the bottom. Jotko avoided danger and passed to half-guard. Allen swept into top position and Jotko worked back to his feet. Allen landed punches on the way up and he took Jotko down into mount. Jotko got a leg in and fought his way back to half-guard as Allen looked to set up an arm-triangle choke. Jotko defended and rolled to his right, but he gave up his back in the process. Allen immediately locked on a rear-naked choke and Jotko tapped.

Winner: Brendan Allen by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:17 of round one. He improves to 20-5-0.

 

Chelsea Chandler vs Julija Stoliarenko

Round 1:
Stoliarenko took Chandler down almost immediately and tried to set up an armbar, but she lost the position and wound up on the bottom. Chandler threw left hands from Stoliarenko’s guard until Stoliarenko stood up. Chandler landed a one-two and followed with another obe. She reversed a Stoliarenko takedown attempt into mount, but Stoliarenko was able to get back to guard and then kicked Chandler off. The fighters stood and Chandler landed two left crosses. She stuffed another Stoliarenko takedown attempt and mounted her again. Chandler postured up with heavy punches as Stoliarenko tried to cover up, and the lopsided fight was stopped.

Winner: Chelsea Chandler by TKO (Punches) at 4:15 of round one. She improves to 5-1-0.

 

Guido “Ninja” Cannetti vs Randy “The Zohan” Costa

Round 1:
Costa had early success with leg kicks in the opening seconds, but Cannetti countered with one of his own that knocked Costa down. As Costa stood up, Cannetti hopped on his back and pulled him back down to the mat. He locked on a no-hooks rear-naked choke and Costa tapped out almost immediately.

Winner: Guido Cannetti by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 1:04 of round one. He improves to 10-6-0.
