Julian “Juicy J” Erosa vs “Mean” Hakeem Dawodu

Round 1:
Erosa missed with a spinning backfist attempt and Dawodu countered with a right hand. He avoided two takedown attempts from Erosa and landed a leg kick. Dawodu clinched and Erosa cracked him with two uppercuts. He wobbled Dawodu with a right-left combo and Dawodu held on to buy time to recover. Erosa landed two more one-twos after breaking free and then followed with a pair of uppercuts. Dawodu attempted a head kick and Erosa hurt him with another right hook. He flurried with punches and Dawodu tied him up in another clinch at the bell. 10-9 Erosa.

Round 2:
Dawodu landed a knee to begin round two and he stepped forward with right hands and jabs. The fighters traded jabs and Dawodu landed a slashing elbow in close. He continued to score with jabs until Erosa used a body-lock takedown to get him down. He hopped on Dawodu’s back and secured a standing body triangle. Erosa pulled Dawodu back down to the ground while maintaining the body triangle. He worked for a rear-naked choke and punched the side of Dawodu’s face. Dawodu fought off another rear-naked choke and Erosa elbowed him in the temple. Dawodu was able to get back to his feet late in the round, which ended in a clinch. 10-9 Erosa.

Round 3:
Erosa circled on the outside during the opening minute of round three. Dawodu jabbed and he eventually landed a right cross. Erosa landed an uppercut in response and the fighters traded straight rights. Dawodu kicked to the body and Erosa took him down. He immediately took Dawodu’s back and locked on another body triangle. Erosa punched the side of Dawodu’s head until Dawodu turned into Erosa’s guard with seconds to go. Erosa kicked him off and stood up. 10-9 Erosa.

Winner: Julian Erosa by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 28-9-0.

 

Jailton “Malhadinho” Almeida vs Anton “The Pleasure Man” Turkalj

Round 1:
Almeida took Turkalj down in the opening 15 seconds and moved to back control as Turkalj got to one knee. When Turkalj stood, Almeida suplexed him back down. He looked for an arm-triangle choke and Turkalj defended. Almeida kept him down and he landed some solid right hands to the side of his face. Turkalj eventually gave up mount and Almeida tried again for an arm-triangle choke. He let it go and instead dropped an elbow and a series of punches to Turkalj’s face. Turkalj gave up his back and Almeida instantly locked on a rear-naked choke for the tapout win.

Winner: Jailton Almeida by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:27 of round one. He improves to 17-2-0.

 

Denis Tiuliulin vs Jamie “The Nightwolf” Pickett

Round 1:
The fight began with both fighters landing punches right away. Pickett attacked the body and pawed out with a long jab. He followed with a body kick and tried to take Tiuliulin down. Tiuliulin stayed on his feet and circled away after a moment against the cage. Pickett resumed jabbing and Tiuliulin closed in with a four-punch flurry. He countered a Pickett head kick attempt with a right cross. Time was called when Pickett was kicked badly in the groin. The fight resumed after a minute and Pickett jabbed. Tiuliulin threw another flurry of punches, but Pickett sidestepped most of the strikes. 10-9 Tiuliulin.

Round 2:
Tiuliulin landed a hard body kick in round two and Pickett tried to keep him at distance with jabs. Tiuliulin attempted a head kick and he landed a straight right. Pickett was kneed in the groin and time was called. Tiuliulin was deducted one point and the fight resumed. Tiuliulin swarmed with punches and Pickett stumbled while trying to move from side to side. Three right hands and a body kick landed for Tiuliulin, who then dropped Pickett with an elbow to the temple. He landed two elbows from side control and then allowed Pickett to get back to his feet. Tiuliulin landed two standing elbows and then dropped Pickett with two knees. He landed punches on the ground as Pickett turtled and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Denis Tiuliulin by TKO (Knees & Punches) at 4:52 of round two. He improves to 10-6-0, 1 NC.

 

Chris “Beastboy” Barnett vs Jake “The Prototype” Collier

Round 1:
Big punches were exchanged right away and Collier dropped Barnett with a right hook. As Barnett attempted to get back to his feet, Collier landed uppercuts and a head kick. Barnett recovered enough to throw hooks in return, but he began to bleed from a cut below his left eye. The eye swelled shut and Collier held Barnett in a clinch. Barnett pushed him away and landed three winging overhand punches. Collier was unfazed and he landed a pair of one-two combos. He slammed Barnett down and immediately mounted him. Barnett gave up his back and Collier punched the side of his head. Barnett tried to roll to his side and Collier held him in a rear-naked choke with his forearm. Barnett escaped and he stood up. Two lead left hooks landed for Collier before the bell. 10-8 Collier.

Round 2:
Barnett struck first with a left-right combo that stopped Collier’s forward pressure momentarily. Heavy punches were exchanged and Barnett landed a knee to Collier’s body. Collier shot in for a takedown and Barnett stuffed it. He mounted Collier and began to rain down punches. Collier tried to roll as Barnett dropped hammerfists to his face. A final salvo of punches from Barnett prompted referee Mark Smith to stop the fight.

Winner: Chris Barnett by TKO (Punches) at 2:24 of round two. He improves to 23-8-0.

 

Norma “The Immortal” Dumont Viana vs Danyelle Wolf

Round 1:
Dumont targeted Wolf’s lead leg with kicks during the opening minute. Wolf landed a body kick and she countered a Dumont jab with a right cross. She stunned Wolf with an overhand right and Wolf backed up. Wolf recovered and she pushed forward with jabs. Dumont landed two more overhand rights late in the close round. 10-9 Dumont due to damage.

Round 2:
In round two, Dumont attacked with more leg kicks and Wolf’s left leg began to turn red. She landed a right hook and Dumont countered with a knee from a Thai clinch. Dumont tripped Wolf, but Wolf kicked her off and stood up. Dumont landed uppercuts on the way up and she kneed Wolf in the body while holding her against the cage. Wolf eventually broke away and Dumont dropped her with a right hook. A dazed Wolf got back to her feet and Dumont charged at her with punches. She clinched with Wolf again, but Wolf recovered and separated from the clinch. Dumont dropped Wolf again with an overhand right shortly before the bell. 10-8 Dumont.

Round 3:
Dumont slammed Wolf to the mat and mounted her seconds into round three. Wolf scrambled back to half-guard and latched on to Dumont’s left wrist, but Dumont blasted her with hammerfists to the face. Dumont stood and dropped a left hand to Wolf’s nose before moving to side control and then to mount again. Wolf managed to get a leg in and Dumont worked from the top in her half-guard. She continued to batter Wolf with punches and hammerfists, then finished the round with three elbow strikes from mount. 10-8 Dumont.

Winner: Norma Dumont Viana by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 8-2-0.

 

Heili “The Mongolian Knight” Alateng vs Chad “The Monster” Anheliger

Round 1:
Alateng landed a leg kick and the fighters exchanged right hands. Anheliger landed a lead left hook and Alateng cracked him with a right cross. He followed up with a one-two and Anheliger landed another leg kick. Alateng hurt him with a lead left hook and Anheliger began to bleed from his nose. Alateng wobbled Anheliger with two right hooks, but Anheliger recovered enough to land a counter left uppercut. Alateng landed a leg kick and a right-left combo late in the round. 10-9 Alateng.

Round 2:
Early in the second round, Alateng landed a leg kick and a right hook. Anheliger finally connected with an overhand right, but Alateng mixed up his punches to the body and head. He cracked Anheliger with a lead left hook and fought off a takedown attempt. Both men landed right hooks and Anheliger followed with another leg kick. Alateng continued to mix up his strikes to the body and head, and Anheliger went high with a head kick. Alateng landed a lead left hook and a right cross. Back-and-forth round. 10-9 Alateng.

Round 3:
Alateng swept out Anheliger’s leg and took him down in the opening seconds of round three. He stood over Anheliger and kicked at his calves. Anheliger kicked from his back and referee Herb Dean stood him up. Anheliger landed two leg kicks and Alateng countered with a left hook. Anheliger threw another leg kick and he attempted a head kick that was blocked. Alateng secured a takedown with 25 seconds remaining and Anheliger landed an elbow from the bottom. He tried to get back to his feet, but Alateng punished him with three right hands to the side of his face. 10-9 Alateng.

Winner: Heili Alateng by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 16-8-2.

 

Elise Reed vs Melissa “Super Mely” Martinez

Round 1:
Reed landed a leg kick early in the fight and Martinez immediately countered with a right hook. Reed caught a kick and floored Martinez with a right hand. Martinez got back to her feet and Reed landed two body kicks. Martinez went high with a head kick that partially landed. She shot in for a takedown and the fighters clinched against the fence. Reed punched to the body and Martinez landed a knee. Reed reversed the clinch and then pushed Martinez away. Reed landed a body kick and the round ended in a clinch. 10-9 Reed.

Round 2:
Martinez landed kicks to Reed’s lead leg and body in the second round. A four-punch flurry landed for Reed, but Martinez held her ground and countered with a one-two before circling to her left. A right hook and a knee to the body scored for Reed. Martinez landed a hard leg kick and Reed tied her up in a clinch. Reed kneed Martinez in the body and landed a right hook on the break. A straight left scored for Martinez and Reed responded with a body kick. The fighters clinched again and Reed landed two short knees as Martinez tried to take her down. Close round. 10-9 Martinez by a slim margin.

Round 3:
Reed scored with a nice right hand to begin the final round and Martinez attacked her lead leg with kicks. She took Reed down, then stood over her and kicked at Reed’s leg. As Reed stood up, Martinez landed a solid knee to the body. Reed reversed a throw and got Martinez down momentarily. Martinez stood and Reed took her down into mount. Martinez gave up her back and Reed landed punches to the side of her head. Martinez stood up and she was taken down for a third time. Late in the fight, Martinez got to her feet and Reed landed three knees to the body. 10-9 Reed.

Winner: Elise Reed by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 6-2-0.

 

Yohan “White Lion” Lainesse vs Darian Weeks

Round 1:
Lainesse struck first with an overhand right and he landed another right hand soon after. Leg kicks were exchanged and Lainesse followed up with a right cross. Weeks trapped him in a front choke and Lainesse scrambled free. He lunged forward with a lead left hook and Weeks tried to take him down. Lainesse stayed on his feet and landed a body kick. Weeks landed a front kick to the body late in the relatively uneventful round. 10-9 Lainesse.

Round 2:
Weeks opened the second round with a leg kick and Lainesse landed one in response. Weeks pressed forward with punches, then dropped Lainesse to a knee with a left hook as Lainesse stepped into it. Weeks continued to attack Lainesse’s lead leg with kicks, but Lainesse answered with an overhand right. Weeks picked Lainesse up and slammed him down, but Lainesse immediately stood back up and Weeks landed a left hook. He tried to take Lainesse down again and Lainesse defended. The fighters separated and Weeks landed a lead left hand late in the round. 10-9 Weeks.

Round 3:
Lainesse was more aggressive in the final round and he fought off a Weeks takedown attempt after the fighters clinched against the cage. Weeks tried again to take Lainesse down and he was not successful. Lainesse broke free from the clinch and he landed a jab, but his offence was minimal. Both fighters landed body kicks as the fight entered its final minute. Weeks threw a front kick and Lainesse answered with a right hand. He held Weeks in a guillotine choke late in the close round. 10-9 Lainesse due to damage.

Winner: Yohan Lainesse by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 9-1-0.
