Joseph Holmes vs Alen Amedovski

Round 1:
Holmes struck first with three leg kicks and he floored Amedovski with a vicious knee. Amedovski was barely conscious on the ground, but he rolled over and did enough to prevent the fight from being stopped as Holmes landed two more punches and took his back. Holmes locked on a no-hooks rear-naked choke and Amedovski tapped.

Winner: Joseph Holmes by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 1:04 of round one. He improves to 8-2-0.

 

Jailton “Malhadinho” Almeida vs Parker Porter

Round 1:
Almeida opened the fight with a front kick and he immediately dropped levels for a takedown. Almeida slammed Porter down into half-guard and threw hammerfists with his left hand, which Porter blocked. Almeida postured up with harder strikes and he landed some hammerfists to Porter’s face. Porter tried to get back to his feet against the cage, but Almeida kept him down and he briefly passed to mount. As Almeida landed short punches and elbows from the top, Porter got back to half-guard. Almeida mounted him again and Porter gave up his back. Almeida instantly locked on a rear-naked choke and Porter tapped out.

Winner: Jailton Almeida by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:35 of round one. He improves to 16-2-0.

 

Uros “The Doctor” Medic vs Omar Antonio “Venezuelan Fighter” Morales Ferrer

Round 1:
Morales blocked a head kick and he landed a big counter right hook. Medic attempted another head kick and the fighters exchanged one-two combos. Morales backed Medic up with a right hook behind the ear. Medic regained his footing and Morales scored with another right hand. Medic snapped his head back with a hard jab, which prompted Morales to step forward with a three-punch combo. Both men landed body kicks and Morales connected with a jab-cross combo. Medic stunned Morales with a hard counter jab late in the round. 10-9 Morales.

Round 2:
Medic jabbed in round two and a welt began to form below Morales’s left eye. Morales countered a leg kick with a body kick and he grazed Medic’s chin with a head kick. Medic dropped Morales with a big left hook, but Morales got back to his feet. Medic hurt him again with another left hand, then dropped him once more with a final left hand. Morales was still conscious, and looked to be ready to defend on the ground, but referee Chris Tognoni stepped in to stop the fight.

Winner: Uros Medic by TKO (Punch) at 3:05 of round two. He improves to 8-1-0.

 

Jonathan “Dragon” Martinez vs Vince “Vandetta” Morales

Round 1:
Martinez kicked at Morales’s lead leg during the opening minute and Morales blocked a head kick. Martinez landed two liver kicks and another one to Morales’s leg. Morales scored with a lead left hook that backed Martinez up momentarily. Martinez continued to chop away at Morales’s left leg and he went high with another head kick attempt. Morales blocked it and Martinez jumped in with a flying knee attempt before the bell. 10-9 Martinez.

Round 2:
The second round began with Martinez landing kicks to both of Morales’s legs. Morales had fleeting moments of success with lead left hooks, but Martinez continued to chop away at his legs and Morales began to limp. He ducked into a knee from Martinez, who followed with another leg kick. Morales tried to close the distance and Martinez countered with another knee to his face. 10-9 Martinez.

Round 3:
In the final round, Martinez landed two leg kicks and Morales countered with a lead left hook. Martinez jabbed and he cracked Morales with a hard left cross. Morales ducked into a knee from Martinez, but he continued to move forward. Martinez landed a liver kick and he jabbed until Morales closed the distance. Martinez took him down and Morales got back to his feet against the cage. Martinez dumped him to the mat, but Morales reversed into top position and he landed two punches before the end of the fight. 10-9 Martinez.

Winner: Jonathan Martinez by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 16-4-0.

 

Chase “The Dream” Hooper vs Felipe “Cabocão” Dias Colares

Round 1:
Hooper landed a lead left hook and clinched, but Colares reversed a takedown and wound up on top. Hooper rose to his feet and he took Colares down into back control. Hooper tried to pass to mount, but Colares turned into Hooper’s guard and then postured up with hard punches. Time was called when Colares blatantly grabbed the cage, and the fighters were stood up. Hooper stuffed a takedown and took top position, where he alternated between landing punches and threatening with rear-naked chokes and guillotines. Colares very briefly got to his feet, only to be dragged back down. Hooper scored with elbows from the top in Colares’s half-guard. He locked on a tight Brabo choke, but Colares stayed calm and escaped. He stood up and Hooper backed him up with punches. 10-9 Hooper.

Round 2:
Hooper immediately took Colares down and attempted a kimura, but he lost it and Colares wound up on top. Hooper scissored his legs around Colares’s left leg, then rose to his feet. Colares took him down and he passed to side control. Hooper swept from the bottom and a series of back-and-forth scrambles followed. Colares landed elbows from top position and Hooper attacked with a heel hook attempt. He used it to initiate one more scramble, and the round ended with Hooper flattening Colares out from back control while landing elbows to the side of his head. Close round. 10-9 Hooper, just barely.

Round 3:
In the final round, Hooper took Colares down and he escaped from a Colares headlock. Hooper took mount and dropped punches until Colares gave up his back. Hooper battered him with punches and then locked on a rear-naked choke. An exhausted Colares was able to break Hooper’s grip, but Hooper flattened him out once more and he landed right hands to the side of Colares’s face until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Chase Hooper by TKO (Punches) at 3:00 of round three. He improves to 11-2-1.

 

Sam “Sampage” Hughes vs Elise Reed

Round 1:
Hughes circled around Reed to begin the fight, and the fighters exchanged punches before Hughes secured a clinch against the cage. She threw short knees to the body and then an elbow on the break. Reed landed a strong right hand, but Hughes caught a kick and she took Reed down. She postured up and dropped punches to Reed’s face, but Reed landed some good shots from the bottom as well and she kicked Hughes off. The fight returned to the feet and Hughed held Reed against the cage while landing more short knees to the body. 10-9 Hughes.

Round 2:
Reed was aggressive with punches to open the second round, but Hughes ducked under and she took Reed down into side control. Reed was able to get back to half-guard, and then to full guard, but Hughes landed punches to her body from the top. She moved to half-guard again and eyed a shoulder choke. Reed avoided that, but Hughes took mount and she landed punches and elbows to Reed’s face until the bell. 10-9 Hughes. Could be a 10-8.

Round 3:
Hughes immediately took Reed down into side control in round three. Reed tried to crank on a guillotine choke from the bottom, but she could not control Hughes’s position and Hughes freed her neck. Hughes punched from the top and tried to pass to mount, but she lost the position right away and had to settle for side control. Hughes used a top-side crucifix to set up a successful move to mount, where she dropped punches and elbows that bloodied Reed’s face and finished the fight.

Winner: Sam Hughes by TKO (Punches & Elbows) at 3:52 of round three. She improves to 7-4-0.
