Victor “La Mangosta” Henry vs Raoni Barcelos

Round 1:
Barcelos struck first with an inside-leg kick and a right cross, but Henry immediately answered with a right hook. Barcelos scored with an uppercut and he stunned Henry briefly with a right-left combo. Right hands were exchanged and Barcelos countered a body kick with a right hook. He followed with an uppercut and both men landed left hooks at the same time. Barcelos jabbed and landed a right hook, but Henry landed a counter hook in return. Barcelos connected with a lead left hook as the pace remained high. The fighters traded jabs and Barcelos dumped Henry to the mat. He allowed him to stand and both men landed right hooks. Henry’s had more power behind them and Barcelos was briefly wobbled against the cage. Close round. 10-9 Barcelos, but Henry could have stolen it at the end.

Round 2:
Power punches were exchanged right away in the second round and Henry bloodied Barcelos’s nose with jabs. He mixed in right hands to Barcelos’s face and body, but Barcelos returned fire with three quick punches. Another combination landed for Barcelos, but Henry prevented him from clinching and he landed lead left hands and two overhand rights. Henry landed two quick hooks and Barcelos took him down very briefly. Henry stood and he pawed out with right hands before sidestepping a head kick from Barcelos. 10-9 Henry.

Round 3:
Jabs and right hands were exchanged non-stop throughout the opening minute of round three. Henry landed a body kick and a combination, then easily stuffed a Barcelos takedown attempt. Barcelos slowed down and Henry continued to pick him apart with jabs and straight rights. He took Barcelos’s back in a clinch against the cage and kneed him in the thigh. Barcelos stood in place and tried to block the knees with his hand. He finally spun around and broke free from Henry’s grasp with one minute remaining. Barcelos cracked Henry with a lead right hook that set up a flurry of hooks and uppercuts. Henry regained his composure and he landed a right hand just before the final bell. 10-9 Henry.

Winner: Victor Henry by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 22-5-0.

 

Jack Della Maddalena vs Pete “Dead Game” Rodriguez

Round 1:
Della Maddalena jabbed and Rodriguez replied with a right hook in the opening minute. Della Maddalena landed another hard jab, then followed with a body kick and a straight left. Rodriguez, bleeding heavily from his nose as a result of the damage from Della Maddalena’s jab, struggled to find his range as Della Maddalena continued to batter him with jabs and combinations. Rodriguez lunged forward with lead right hooks that landed, but Della Maddalena floored him with an overhand left. A badly rocked Rodriguez collapsed to the mat and Della Maddalena followed with three punches on the ground to finish the fight.

Winner: Jack Della Maddalena by TKO (Punches) at 2:59 of round one. He improves to 11-2-0.

 

Tony Gravely vs Saimon Oliveira

Round 1:
Oliveira landed a flying knee early in the fight and Gravely clinched, but Oliveira pulled him down to the mat with a tight guillotine choke. Gravely stayed calm and freed his head, and landed some hard left hands from the top. Oliveira worked back to his feet against the cage and Gravely threw knees to his thigh before dumping him to the mat. Gravely easily escaped from a loose guillotine choke and passed to side control. Oliveira rolled over and stood up again, and punches were briefly exchanged before Gravely secured a body lock. Oliveira attempted a standing guillotine choke and Gravely pushed him down to the mat. The fighters briefly stood and Oliveira pulled guard with a tight guillotine choke in the final seconds. 10-9 Gravely.

Round 2:
Gravely shot in and took Oliveira down in the second round. Oliveira escaped to his feet and he broke free from a clinch with two knees. Oliveira scored with a hard knee to the body and pulled half-guard with yet another guillotine choke. Gravely escaped and he held Oliveira in a clinch against the cage after both men stood up. Gravely landed a knee to the body and Oliveira responded with two leg kicks. Gravely took him down, but Oliveira stood and he landed some solid knees and elbows in a clinch. Time was called when Oliveira’s mouthpiece fell out and Gravely looked to clinch after the restart. He countered knees from Oliveira with a takedown and landed right hands to the side of Oliveira’s face. Close round. 10-9 Gravely.

Round 3:
Oliveira charged at Gravely with a flying body kick to begin the final round and he pulled guard with a guillotine choke. Gravely freed his neck and Oliveira threw elbows from the bottom. He got back to his feet and Gravely landed an elbow on the break. He dropped levels and took Oliveira’s back, but Oliveira turned into the clinch and pulled Gravely down to the mat with a guillotine. Gravely quickly escaped and he scored with elbows to Oliveira’s face. Oliveira stood again and Gravely cracked him with a one-two. He followed with a leg kick and knocked Oliveira off-balance with a right hook. Oliveira recovered and landed a hard knee, but Gravely took him down. The fighters stood and Gravely landed an overhand right. 10-9 Gravely.

Winner: Tony Gravely by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 22-7-0.

 

Matt “Steamrolla” Frevola vs Genaro “El Rayadito” Valdéz

Round 1:
Frevola missed with two right hooks early in the fight, but he countered a knee from Valdéz with a third right hand that stunned Valdéz momentarily. Soon after, Frevola dropped Valdéz with a left hook and he unloaded with punches and hammerfists on the ground. Valdéz survived and stood up, only to be dropped by another left hook. Again, Valdéz survived Frevola’s punches on the ground and he rose to his feet once more. Big punches were exchanged and Valdéz landed a right hook. Frevola threw three knees to the body and then dropped Valdéz with a left hook. Valdéz stood and Frevola dropped him with a right. Valdéz stood and was dropped again. Once more, Valdéz returned to his feet, and Frevola badly hurt and dropped him with a barrage of punches. Valdéz gave up his back on the ground and Frevola landed punches to both sides of his head until the fight was finally stopped. Six knockdowns.

Winner: Matt Frevola by TKO (Punches) at 3:15 of round one. He improves to 9-3-1.

 

Crystal Vanessa “Lil’ Monster” Demopoulos vs Silvana “La Malvada” Gómez Juárez

Round 1:
Gómez Juárez landed a big right hook early in the fight, but Demopoulos stayed on her feet and she landed a leg kick. Gómez Juárez floored her with another massive right hand and followed with more big punches on the ground as a dazed Demopoulos tried to tie her up. She recovered enough to set up an armbar from the bottom. Gómez Juárez initially defended, but Demopoulos rolled her over and wrenched back on Gómez Juárez’s right arm, forcing her to tap out.

Winner: Crystal Vanessa Demopoulos by Submission (Armbar) at 2:25 of round one. She improves to 7-4-0.

 

Jasmine Jasudavicius vs Kay Hansen

Round 1:
Hansen closed the distance and clinched with Jasudavicius against the cage, but Jasudavicius defended well and she eventually broke free from the clinch. Jasudavicius jabbed and Hansen landed a quick combination. She shot in and tried for another takedown, but Jasudavicius stuffed it and she scored a takedown of her own. Working from Hansen’s guard, Jasudavicius threw short elbows to the body and Hansen looked to set up an armbar. Jasudavicius landed more elbows and she mixed in short right hands to Hansen’s face. Hansen tried to explode up to her feet and Jasudavicius punished her with elbows to the side of her face while keeping her down. 10-9 Jasudavicius.

Round 2:
Hansen opened the second round with a takedown and she nearly passed to mount, but Jasudavicius quickly swept from the bottom and took top position. She resumed striking with short elbows and punches as Hansen looked to counter with an armbar against the cage. More elbows landed for Jasudavicius as she targeted Hansen’s body. The fighters were stood up with two minutes to go and Hansen shot in for a takedown. She was once again stuffed and Jasudavicius reversed a clinch against the fence. Late in the round, Jasudavicius used a body-lock takedown to get Hansen down to the mat. 10-9 Jasudavicius.

Round 3:
Right hands were exchanged to begin the final round and Hansen stepped in with a left-right combo. She followed up with a shovel uppercut and a three-punch flurry. Jasudavicius landed a right hook, but Hansen immediately countered with a lead left hand. She attacked Jasudavicius’s body with two kicks and then followed up with a pair of jabs. Hansen continued to throw lead left hooks and Jasudavicius grazed with a counter head kick. Hansen landed two more left hooks and Jasudavicius responded with knees to the body in a Thai clinch before the bell. 10-9 Hansen.
