Pat Sabatini vs Tucker “Top Gun” Lutz

Round 1:
Lutz landed a nice combination in the opening minute and Sabatini rushed forward to clinch after landing a counter right hook. He swept out Lutz’s leg and got him down, but Lutz stood against the cage. Sabatini dragged him back down and took back control as he landed short left hands and looked to set up a rear-naked choke. Sabatini trapped Lutz in a body triangle and he continued to work for chokes until the bell. 10-9 Sabatini.

Round 2:
Sabatini got the fight down to the ground early in round two and he struck from the top with elbows while working to pass to side control. After getting there, Sabatini took advantage of a scramble from Lutz by pulling guard with a guillotine choke. He used it to roll over into mount. Lutz broke Sabatini’s grip and gave up his back, and Sabatini returned to the body triangle and rear-naked choke attempts that he’d first employed in the opening round. Lutz defended as Sabatini continued to try for chokes until the end of the round. 10-9 Sabatini, if not a 10-8.

Round 3:
Sabatini pawed out with lead left hooks and then shot in for a takedown. He eventually got Lutz down into side control, but Lutz sat up against the cage and rose to his feet. On the break, Sabatini landed a nice one-two and he circled on the outside. The fighters clinched and traded knees to the body before the end of the fight. 10-9 Sabatini.

Winner: Pat Sabatini by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 16-3-0.

 

Rafa “Gifted” Garcia vs Natan Levy

Round 1:
Garcia took advantage of a missed right hook from Levy by trapping him in a front headlock. It took quite some time for Levy to get back to his feet, but he partially landed with a spinning wheel kick after doing so. Garcia tagged him with a lead left hook and Levy landed a question mark kick. He caught a body kick from Garcia, but Garcia pulled his leg out and took Levy’s back in a clinch. Levy broke free momentarily, but Garcia got him down on his second try and finished the close round on top. 10-9 Garcia.

Round 2:
The second round began with another takedown for Garcia after he caught a kick. Levy got back to his feet and Garcia landed a hard right cross. Body kicks were exchanged and Garcia landed a winging overhand right. While backing up, Levy connected with a left cross and he took Garcia down into back control. Garcia stood and he pursued a takedown of his own, but Levy stayed on his feet and he threw a head kick that was partially blocked. Garcia got Levy down in the final seconds. Another close round. 10-9 Levy.

Round 3:
Levy prevented Garcia from taking him down early in the final round and he flurried to the head and body. Garcia countered with a right hook and he got Levy down to a knee against the cage. Levy stood and he sprawled out of a takedown attempt from Garcia. Levy threw a kick and was taken down, but he quickly rose to his feet. Levy then shot in for a takedown of his own, but Garcia defended with a deep sprawl. Levy chased after him on the feet and landed a right hook to the body, only to be taken down by Garcia late in the fight. 10-9 Garcia.

Winner: Rafa Garcia by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-2-0.

 

“Loopy” Lupita Godinez vs Konklak “Loma Lookboonmee” Suphisara

Round 1:
Godinez started quickly with three lead left hooks and a leg kick. A clinch followed and Godinez tried for a body-lock takedown, but it was Suphisara who reversed and threw her to the mat. Godinez immediately returned to her feet and she landed a combination after separating from a clinch. Godinez blocked a head kick and clinched with Suphisara against the cage. She could not get Suphisara down, but did keep her pinned against the fence. Suphisara pushed her away in the final minute and Godinez scored with a step-in right hook. She took Suphisara down and finished the round on top in Suphisara’s half-guard. 10-9 Godinez.

Round 2:
After an exchange of right hands, Godinez scored a quick takedown into side control in the opening seconds of round two. Suphisara eventually got back to her feet against the cage and shook Godinez off of her back. Suphisara’s time on her feet was short-lived and Godinez took her right back down. She maintained top position in Suphisara’s half-guard and elbowed her face, then passed to mount. Suphisara gave up her back and Godinez stayed there until the bell. 10-9 Godinez.

Round 3:
Once again, Godinez took Suphisara down into side control early in the final round. When Suphisara tried to scramble free, Godinez latched on to her leg and stretched it out in a combination kneebar and heel hook attempt. Suphisara eventually freed her leg and took top position, but Godinez landed a solid left hand from the bottom. As Godinez stood up against the cage, Suphisara peppered her with knees to the leg and body. After the fighters separated very briefly, Godinez used a double-leg takedown to get Suphisara back down to the mat. She took Suphisara’s back, but Suphisara shook her off and the fight ended in a clinch against the cage. Closer final round. 10-9 Godinez.

Winner: Lupita Godinez by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 7-2-0.

 

Cody Durden vs Qileng “Mongolian Murderer” Aori

Round 1:
Durden opened the action with leg kicks and Aori replied with a combination of punches. Durden secured a takedown and Aori stood back up against the cage. Another takedown followed for Durden and he punched from the top in Aori’s guard. Aori kicked him off and got back to his feet, but he missed with a wild uppercut and Durden took advantage by scoring another takedown. Aori got to his knees, and then worked back to his feet, and he landed uppercuts and knees to the body before the bell. 10-9 Durden.

Round 2:
Both men landed punches during an prolonged exchange in the second round and Aori looked for a takedown against the cage. Durden countered with a knee to the body and the fighters separated. Aori landed a long jab and a counter uppercut as Durden closed the distance and clinched. Aori separated from the clinch and he landed a leg kick just as Durden connected with a right hook. Aori reversed a takedown and wound up on top, but the fight soon returned to the feet and Durden used his jab to set up a big uppercut. Aori stunned him with a right hook and an uppercut in return. Back-and-forth round. 10-9 Aori.

Round 3:
Aori was aggressive with leg kicks and wild punches including an uppercut that missed the mark. Durden dropped levels for a takedown and Aori grabbed the cage. Durden got him down anyway and Aori tried to get back to his feet. He ultimately did so with just over 90 seconds to go, but Durden took him down again. Aori stood up and the fighters separated. A fatigued Durden landed an uppercut and two jabs. He clinched and dove at Aori’s leg, but could not get him down. 10-9 Durden.

Winner: Cody Durden by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-3-1.

 

Nuerdanbieke “Wolverine” Shayilan vs Sean Soriano

Round 1:
Soriano attacked Shayilan’s lead leg with kicks early on and Shayilan landed a body kick in return. Soriano wobbled him with a lead left hand, but Shayilan recovered quickly and time was called soon after when Soriano was kicked in the groin. Action resumed and Shayilan countered a leg kick with a body-lock takedown. Soriano swept from the bottom and wound up on top in Shayilan’s guard. He landed an elbow and avoided a triangle choke attempt from Shayilan. The fighters returned to their feet and Shayilan countered a right hand from Soriano with a takedown attempt. He almost got Soriano down, but Soriano’s sprawl allowed him to return to his feet and he countered a missed spinning back kick from Shayilan by taking him down before the bell. 10-9 Soriano.

Round 2:
The second round began with Soriano landing a combination after he stuffed a takedown attempt from Shayilan. Hard punches were exchanged and Soriano landed a left hook to the body. After an exchange of right hands, Soriano reversed a takedown and he held top position on the ground. Shayiland quickly swept from the bottom and he passed to mount seconds later. Soriano tried unsuccessfully to bridge out from the bottom. He gave up his back and then briefly took top position after a scramble, but Shayilan used an arm-triangle choke from the bottom to sweep once again. He landed punches to Soriano’s body until the end of the round. 10-9 Shayilan.

Round 3:
Shayilan took Soriano down early in the final round and he suplexed Soriano back down to the mat after he briefly stood up. On the ground, Shayilan landed left hands to the side of Soriano’s head and took his back. He trapped Soriano in a body triangle and punched the side of Soriano’s head while Soriano threw punches backwards to Shayilan’s face. Shayilan hunted for a rear-naked choke and he maintained the body triangle. Shayilan continued to land short punches to the side of Soriano’s head until the end of the fight. 10-9 Shayilan.

Winner: Nuerdanbieke Shayilan by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 20-7-0.

 

Luana Pinheiro vs Sam “Sampage” Hughes

Round 1:
After a cautious opening minute, Pinheiro jabbed and Hughes landed a leg kick. Pinheiro rushed forward with a big flurry of punches, punctuated by a hard right hook, then whipped Hughes down to the mat with a headlock throw. She passed to side control and Hughes scrambled up to her knees. Pinheiro secured a guillotine choke as the fighters stood up and she used the hold to muscle Hughes down to the ground again. Hughes freed her head and Pinheiro briefly struck from top position. Hughes got back to her feet and she grazed with a head kick at the bell. 10-9 Pinheiro.

Round 2:
Pinheiro landed a strong leg kick in the second round and Hughes struggled to find her range on the feet. She eventually landed a leg kick of her own and Pinheiro responded with a right hook. Hughes jabbed and Pinheiro tied her up in a clinch. Hughes stayed on her feet and pushed Pinheiro away. A right hand landed for Pinheiro and Hughes answered with a three-punch combo. Hughes attacked Pinheiro’s lead leg with kicks, but Pinheiro landed a counter left hook. She charged at Hughes and dropped her with two more left hooks. Hughes got to her knees and Pinheiro punched the side of her head until the end of the round. 10-9 Pinheiro due to the late-round rally.

Round 3:
Pinheiro bloodied Hughes’s nose with jabs early in round three. Hughes responded with a body kick and an overhand right. Two hard leg kicks scored for Hughes, and the fighters clinched after Pinheiro closed the distance with a combination. Hughes broke free and she landed two more leg kicks and a long jab. In the final 15 seconds, Hughes landed a body kick and a lead left hook as Pinheiro circled on the outside. 10-9 Hughes.
