Angela “Overkill” Hill vs Ashley “The Spider Monkey” Yoder
Round 1:
Hill used early leg and body kicks to set up overhand rights that repeatedly landed to the jaw of Yoder. A clinch followed and Hill landed two knees to the body. Yoder tried to throw her down to the mat, but Hill stayed up and she landed an elbow to Yoder’s cheek. Yoder broke free and landed a left hand that was answered by a Hill leg kick. Hill connected with two more overhand rights in the final minute and she stunned Yoder with three more right hands. Yoder clinched and Hill took her down. 10-9 Hill.
Round 2:
In the second round, Hill landed more right hands that snapped Yoder’s head back again. In a brief clinch, Hill landed three knees to the body and she continued to control the striking exchanges as Yoder struggled to land anything. Hill hurt Yoder with a knee to the body and followed with punches. She landed two more knees to the body and Yoder managed to take her down. Hill tied Yoder up from the bottom and landed elbows in the final seconds. 10-8 Hill.
Round 3:
The final round began with an early clinch from Yoder, who tried to throw Hill down to the ground. Hill countered with knees to the body and the fighters separated. Hill secured a Thai clinch and attacked with five quick knees to Yoder’s ribs and liver, but she lost her balance on the final strike and Yoder tripped her to the mat. From the top in Hill’s half-guard, Yoder tried to transition to Hill’s back. Hill stood up against the cage and landed another knee to the body, then two overhand rights before the end of the fight. 10-9 Hill.

Charles “Air” Jourdain vs Marcelo “Pitbull” Rojo
Round 1:
Following an exchange of head kicks, the fighters clinched and traded knees as Rojo tripped Jourdain to the mat. Jourdain quickly stood up and Rojo landed counter left and right hooks as Jourdain moved forward. Two body kicks landed for Jourdain and Rojo responded with a knee to his jaw. He knocked Jourdain down with a leg kick and followed with two punches as Jourdain got back to his feet. Rojo attacked Jourdain’s right leg with another kick, then closed in with a flurry of punches to the head and body. Jourdain landed a left hook in return and a clinch followed. Jourdain punched to the body and he attempted a head kick as the fighters separated. Another right hand scored for Jourdain just before the bell. Competitive round. 10-9 Rojo.
Round 2:
Jourdain jabbed and landed a leg kick in the second round, but Rojo continued to press the action and he flurried to Jourdain’s body and head. Rojo landed a knee to the body and time was called when he was poked in the eye. Action resumed and Rojo blocked two head kicks. Jourdain landed a left hook and a leg kick, then caught a kick. Rojo freed his leg and he unloaded with a hard combination to Jourdain’s body. Rojo clinched and he landed two more punches before breaking away. Rojo closed in with punches to the body and a knee. Both men landed leg kicks and Jourdain began to limp, but he hurt Rojo with a jumping knee and punches late in the round. 10-9 Jourdain.
Round 3:
Jourdain put together combinations in the final round and Rojo continued to target his legs with kicks. Jourdain jabbed and followed with left hands to the body. He cracked Rojo with a one-two and dropped him with a straight left. Jourdain dove in with punches on the ground as Rojo recovered. Jourdain stood up and dropped more heavy punches to Rojo’s face. He hurt him again with punches to the body and then trapped Rojo in a half-crucifix from the back. Rojo escaped and stood up, which leg to a big exchange of hooks. Jourdain landed an overhand left and a front kick to the body. The fighters clinched and Jourdain landed a hard right hook to the body that dropped Rojo and prompted referee Mark Smith to wave off the fight.
Winner: Charles Jourdain by KO (Punch To The Body) at 4:31 of round three. He improves to 11-3-1.
Rani Yahya vs Ray “The Judge” Rodriguez
Round 1:
Rodriguez landed a hard right hand in the opening seconds and Yahya immediately clinched. He took Rodriguez down against the cage and worked from the top with short punches from Rodriguez’s half-guard. Yahya repeatedly eyed a far-side arm-triangle choke, but Rodriguez defended well and Yahya continued to strike from the top. With 30 seconds to go, Yahya attempted another arm-triangle choke, but Rodriguez once again managed to escape. 10-9 Yahya.
Round 2:
Yahya took the fight to the ground again in round two and he hunted for another arm-triangle choke from Rodriguez’s half-guard. Rodriguez tried to scramble back to full guard from the bottom and Yahya quickly switched to a near-side arm-triangle choke. This time, the choke was tight and Rodriguez was forced to tap out.
Winner: Rani Yahya by Submission (Arm-Triangle Choke) at 3:09 of round two. He improves to 27-10-1, 1 NC.
Nasrat Haqparast vs Rafa “Gifted” Garcia
Round 1:
Haqparast landed a lead right hook early on and Garcia answered with a leg kick. Haqparast pressed the action with punching combinations and Garcia looked for a takedown. Haqparast stuffed it and Garcia landed a knee to the body on the break. Haqparast fired off a left hook, but Garcia wobbled him with an overhand right. Haqparast recovered quickly and he landed two kicks to Garcia’s body. More kicks were exchanged as the round entered its final minute and Garcia shot in for a takedown against the cage. Haqparast stayed on his feet and he landed a liver kick before the end of the round. 10-9 Haqparast by a slim margin.
Round 2:
Quick punches were exchanged in round two and Garcia landed a nice body kick. Haqparast stepped in with short left hooks and an elbow. Garcia jabbed and Haqparast landed a liver kick and uppercut-hook combos in return. Haqparast scored with a straight left and another uppercut, but Garcia continued to press forward and he landed a combination. Haqparast returned fire with another liver kick and he tripped Garcia, who quickly returned to his feet. Haqparast landed two left hands and one more body kick before the bell. 10-9 Haqparast.
Round 3:
Haqparast continued to attack Garcia’s body with kicks in the final round and he followed up with a powerful flurry of punches in close. When Garcia responded with a one-two, Haqparast planted his feet and landed two more combinations as Garcia’s right eye swelled up. Garcia moved forward and ate another liver kick. Haqparast landed an overhand left and a follow-up hook to the body. Garcia tried to counter a body kick with a takedown, but Haqparast easily avoided it and he grazed with a head kick. Haqparast threw two more head kicks late in the round and then one more just before the bell sounded. 10-9 Haqparast.

J.J. Aldrich vs Cortney “Cast Iron” Casey
Round 1:
Following an exchange of punches, Aldrich worked for a takedown against the cage and Casey defended very well. She escaped from the clinch and landed a right hand on the break. She followed with a three-punch combo and two knees to the body in close. Casey landed hooks and an uppercut as Aldrich pressed forward, but Aldrich got her down and postured up with punches. Casey kicked her off and stood up. She caught a body kick and looked for a takedown of her own, but Aldrich trapped her in a guillotine choke. Casey escaped as she fell to her back, then tried for a kimura on Aldrich’s left arm before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Casey.
Round 2:
Aldrich opened the second round with a pair of left hands, which prompted Casey to fire back with three right hooks and a head kick. Aldrich took her down and punched from the top in Casey’s half-guard. She nearly got to mount and continued to score with left hands to Casey’s face. Casey exploded up to her feet against the cage and broke free from the clinch. She landed two right hands and a leg kick. Aldrich changed levels and took Casey down once more. 10-9 Aldrich.
Round 3:
Aldrich backed Casey up with a right-left combo early in round three and the fighters traded lunging combinations in the ensuing seconds. Casey landed a hard right hook and a left uppercut, then another combination as Aldrich looked to close the distance. Aldrich connected with straight left hands and a counter right hook, then swept out Casey’s left leg and took her down to the mat. Casey got back up and escaped from the clinch with one minute to go. Aldrich pressed forward with a lead right hook and Casey cracked her with two right hands in return. More punches were exchanged and time was called when Aldrich struck Casey in the groin with a spinning back kick. The fight resumed and the bell sounded seconds later. Another close round. 10-9 Aldrich.

Jinh Yu Frey vs Gloria “Glorinha” de Paula
Round 1:
De Paula landed a right hand to open the fight and Frey responded with a straight left. She countered a clinch by tripping de Paula to the mat. Frey punched to the body and avoided a de Paula armbar attempt. De Paula kicked Frey off and tried to stand up, but Frey took her back and worked for a rear-naked choke. De Paula rolled over to her back and regained full guard. She tried to posture for another armbar attempt and Frey responded with a series of left hands from the top. Frey continued to strike from de Paula’s guard, then stood up and finished the round by kicking at de Paula’s legs. 10-9 Frey.
Round 2:
Frey landed a left cross early in the second round and de Paula fired back with two leg kicks and a hard right hook that opened a cut on the bridge of Frey’s nose. De Paula scored with more straight rights until Frey punched her way into a clinch. De Paula broke free and threw a body kick and a three-punch combo. Frey caught a body kick and tried for a takedown, but de Paula balanced on one leg and stayed up as the fighters clinched against the fence. De Paula circled out and punches were exchanged until the bell. 10-9 de Paula.
Round 3:
Frey wasted no time in taking de Paula down in the final round. De Paula looked to set up a kimura from the bottom, but Frey mounted her and then transitioned to a rear-naked choke. De Paula defended and escaped from the choke, but Frey retained back control and she got her forearm under de Paula’s chin again. De Paula fought off the second choke, but Frey maintained back control until the end of the fight. 10-9 Frey.
Winner: Jinh Yu Frey by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 10-6-0.
Matthew “Semi The Jedi” Semelsberger vs Jason “The Vanilla Gorilla” Witt
Round 1:
Semelsberger landed two leg kicks in the opening seconds and Witt responded with a one-two. As Witt threw his first leg kick, Semelsberger countered perfectly with a massive right hand that sent an unconscious Witt crashing to the mat. Impressive win for Semelsberger.
Winner: Matthew Semelsberger by KO (Punch) at 0:16 of round one. He improves to 8-2-0.
