Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez vs Rodolfo “The Black Belt Hunter” Vieira

Round 1:
Vieira immediately dove at Hernandez’s leg and took him down into half-guard. Hernandez rolled over and tried to stand up, which allowed Vieira to take his back. Vieira worked for a rear-naked choke and Hernandez gave up mount to escape. Vieira smothered him from the top and twice looked for an arm-triangle choke before spinning into an armbar. Hernandez escaped again and briefly got up to his feet. Vieira took him down again, but Hernandez stood and rocked Vieira with a combination. Hernandez stuffed a takedown and hurt Vieira again with punches. Vieira dove at Hernandez’s legs and Hernandez battered him with punches. Vieira again dove for a takedown and Hernandez trapped him in an inverted triangle choke. 10-9 Hernandez due to the comeback.

Round 2:
An exhausted Vieira tried to take Hernandez down in the second round, but Hernandez defended and he hurt Vieira with a head kick. Hernandez bloodied Vieira with elbows in a clinch and then countered a takedown attempt with a tight guillotine choke. Vieira had nowhere to go and tapped out.

Winner: Anthony Hernandez by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 1:53 of round two. He improves to 8-2-0, 1 NC.

 

Belal “Remember The Name” Muhammad vs Dhiego Lima

Round 1:
Muhammad landed a three-punch combo in the opening minute and looked for a takedown against the cage. Lima stuffed it and Muhammad backed away. Time was called when Muhammad was poked in the eye, but the fight continued and Muhammad connected with a right hook to Lima’s left eye. Lima landed a hard leg kick and Muhammad cracked him with an overhand right. Two more leg kicks landed for Lima and he circled to his left. Muhammad closed the distance and lunged in with left and right hooks. Another right hand scored for Muhammad and Lima responded with a leg kick. He stuffed a Muhammad takedown attempt and landed a nice right hand. Muhammad responded with a knee and two right hooks. He kept Lima pinned against the cage and flurried with punches until the end of the round. 10-9 Muhammad.

Round 2:
Early in round two, Muhammad landed a combination to the head and body, followed by a knee and a right hook. Lima easily fought off a takedown attempt, but Muhammad continued to pressure him with right hands. Lima attacked Muhammad’s lead leg with kicks and Muhammad began to limp. He remained the aggressor in the striking exchanges, however, and he kept Lima on his back foot with constant boxing pressure. Muhammad took Lima’s back and threw left hands to Lima’s face. Lima broke free and landed another two more leg kicks. Muhammad clinched and just missed with a slashing elbow. Close second round. 10-9 Muhammad.

Round 3:
Time was called early in the final round when Muhammad suffered another eye poke, but the fight continued and he tried to take Lima down against the cage. Lima’s takedown defence remained solid and he escaped from the clinch. Muhammad cracked him with a one-two and followed with another one. Lima slowed down and Muhammad used his jab to set up overhand rights. More jabs and one-twos scored for Muhammad as he backed Lima up to the cage. Muhammad landed a knee to the body and tried again to take Lima down. He finally dumped Lima to the mat and hopped on his back as Lima stood up. Muhammad threw punches and elbows to Lima’s face until the end of the fight. 10-9 Muhammad.

Winner: Belal Muhammad by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 18-3-0.

 

Polyana “Dama de Ferro” Viana vs Mallory Martin

Round 1:
Viana opened the action with a body kick and two right hands, then pulled guard and tied up Martin’s right arm on the ground. Martin punched with her left hand and Viana landed elbows to the top of her head. She trapped Martin in a triangle choke and switched to a triangle armbar. Martin held on, but Viana blasted her with elbows from the bottom and continued to alternate between triangle choke and armbar attempts. She sat up and switched from a triangle armbar to a standard armbar setup, then pulled back on Martin’s right arm until she finally tapped out.

Winner: Polyana Viana by Submission (Armbar) at 3:18 of round one. She improves to 12-4-0.

 

Chris “El Guapo” Gutierrez vs Andre “Mr. Highlight” Ewell

Round 1:
Gutierrez landed a knee and a right hand during an early exchange and Ewell just missed with a looping left hook. The fighters exchanged body kicks and Ewell threw a left hand to the body. Gutierrez finally clinched with one minute remaining in the round and he cut Ewell beside his right eye with a short left hand. Gutierrez landed a knee in the clinch and the fighters separated. Gutierrez dropped Ewell with a head kick, but Ewell recovered immediately and stood up. Gutierrez swarmed on him with punches before the bell. 10-9 Gutierrez.

Round 2:
The second round began with Gutierrez landing a leg kick and a front side kick to Ewell’s face. He followed with a kick to Ewell’s right leg Ewell kept his distance and Gutierrez landed occasional leg kicks as the action slowed down. Ewell lunged forward with two left hands and missed with a spinning back kick. Gutierrez scored with three body kicks and Ewell responded with a left hand. He took Gutierrez down and cranked on a heel hook until the end of the close round. 10-9 Ewell due to the late offence.

Round 3:
Leg kicks were exchanged early in round three and Gutierrez continued to have success by attacking Ewell’s right leg. He stunned Ewell with a right hook and followed up with more punches as Ewell circled to his right. Ewell ducked into a head kick and Gutierrez punched his way into a clinch. The fighters separated and Gutierrez attacked both of Ewell’s legs with kicks. As the round entered its final 30 seconds, Gutierrez landed two hard leg kicks and a jumping head kick. He threw Ewell down to the ground and rolled into a triangle choke attempt. 10-9 Gutierrez.

Winner: Chris Gutierrez by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 29-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 16-4-2.

 

“Gifted” Gabriel Green vs Philip “The Fresh Prince” Rowe

Round 1:
Following an early exchange of leg kicks, Rowe used his reach advantage to score with lead left hooks and straight rights. Green continued to throw leg kicks and he followed with a combination. Rowe scored with another flurry, but Green punched his way into a clinch and took Rowe down. Rowe reversed position on the ground and mounted Green, then moved to North-South position and back to mount. Rowe transitioned to a reverse triangle choke attempt, but Green escaped and stood up. He immediately trapped Rowe in a standing arm-triangle choke, which he used to throw Rowe back down to the mat. Rowe fought his way free and the round ended in a standing clinch against the cage. 10-9 Rowe.

Round 2:
Green took Rowe down and landed punches on the way back up to begin round two. More punches were exchanged and time was called when Rowe was kicked in the groin. The fight continued and Green hurt Rowe with a big right hook. He followed with more punches and ducked under a counter hook from Rowe. In the process, Green landed a right hand to Rowe’s groin and time was called again. Action resumed following a short break and Rowe looked for a standing guillotine choke after landing two knees in the clinch. Green quickly escaped and he landed a hard left hand after separating from the clinch. Rowe fired back with a pair of overhand rights, but Green continued to chase after him with punches and he dropped Rowe with a leg kick. Green punched from the top and tried to set up a guillotine choke, but lost the position. 10-9 Green.

Round 3:
Green hurt Rowe with a calf kick early in the final round, but Rowe clinched and he took Green down into half-guard. Rowe moved to mount and then looked to spin into an armbar. He lost the position, but kept Green pinned down and moved from half-guard to back control. Green gave up mount, but he exploded out from the bottom and got back to his feet. Another hard leg kick scored for Green and Rowe clinched immediately. Green stayed on his feet and he landed a one-two and a leg kick late in the round. 10-9 Green, barely. Decision could go either way.

Winner: Gabriel Green by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 10-3-0.
