Cub Swanson vs Daniel “The Pit” Pineda

Round 1:
Following an exchange of leg kicks, the fighters clinched and both men landed knees to the body. Swanson broke free and Pineda walked him down with quick punches and another leg kick. Swanson snapped his head back with a lunging three-punch combo. Pineda responded with a right hand and a leg kick that spun Swanson around, but Swanson pressed forward with a hard combination and he pushed Pineda down to the mat. Pineda worked for a heel hook and Swanson quickly pulled his leg out. Pineda attempted a triangle choke and an armbar from the bottom, but Swanson escaped and he momentarily took Pineda’s back. Pineda escaped to his feet and he attacked Swanson’s left leg with two more hard kicks. Swanson secured a brief takedown and he dropped Pineda with a right hook after Pineda stood up. Pineda got back to his feet again and Swanson blasted him with hooks and elbows until the bell. 10-9 Swanson due to the late rally.

Round 2:
Swanson stunned Pineda with a lead left hook in the second round and he followed with two more punches before Pineda clinched with him against the cage. Swanson broke free and he floored Pineda with a massive right hook. He followed with one more right hand on the ground before referee Mark Smith intervened to stop the fight.

Winner: Cub Swanson by KO (Punches) at 1:52 of round two. He improves to 27-11-0.

 

Rafael “Ataman” Fiziev vs Renato “Moicano” Carneiro

Round 1:
Fiziev countered Carneiro’s punching combinations with hard kicks to his leg and body. Carneiro landed a one-two and Fiziev fired back with another body kick. Carneiro countered a kick with a hard right hand and he shot in for a takedown. Fiziev stuffed it and he landed a leg kick and a hard combination. Seconds later, Fiziev landed a one-two to the body and he floored Carneiro with a vicious left hook to the jaw. Fiziev followed up with one more right hand on the ground and referee Chris Tognoni dove in to rescue a badly dazed Carneiro from any further punishment.

Winner: Rafael Fiziev by KO (Punches) at 4:05 of round one. He improves to 9-1-0.

 

Gavin “Guv’Nor” Tucker vs Billy Quarantillo

Round 1:
Hard body kicks were exchanged early on and Quarantillo landed a right hook that backed Tucker up. A clinch followed and both men landed knees. Tucker remained the aggressor and he punched his way into another clinch. Quarantillo pushed him away and both men landed kicks to the body. Tucker followed with a knee to the liver and he held Quarantillo against the fence. The fighters separated and exchanged power punches. Tucker continued to score with knees to the body and he followed with a head kick. Quarantillo clinched, but Tucker slammed him down into side control before the bell. 10-9 Tucker.

Round 2:
Tucker continued to attack the body with kicks and knees in the second round as the fighters traded power punches and combinations. Tucker maintained a high pace with his striking and he countered a four-punch flurry from Quarantillo by taking his back. Quarantillo broke free momentarily, but Tucker secured a takedown into side control and he transitioned to back control as Quarantillo attempted to stand. Quarantillo spun into Tucker’s guard and that prompted Tucker to scramble up to his feet. Quarantillo landed a knee to the body and the round ended with an exchange of punches in close. 10-9 Tucker.

Round 3:
The final round began with an early trip from Tucker, but Quarantillo quickly returned to his feet and he broke free from a clinch. Tucker landed a hard knee and he took Quarantillo down. Tucker moved from half-guard to back control, but Quarantillo stood up and shook Tucker off. Time was called after an accidental clash of heads, but action resumed and Tucker held Quarantillo against the cage. Quarantillo punched his way free, but Tucker took him down two more times. Quarantillo stood up with one minute remaining and both men landed knees in a clinch. Tucker got Quarantillo down one more time and the fight ended with both men throwing short strikes on the ground. 10-9 Tucker.

Winner: Gavin Tucker by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 13-1-0.

 

Tecia “The Tiny Tornado” Torres vs Sam “Sampage” Hughes

Round 1:
Torres was aggressive right away with body kicks and long flurries of punches. She backed Hughes up against the cage with a combination and Hughes tied her up in a clinch. Torres pushed Hughes away and she resumed throwing quick punches and kicks to Hughes’s left leg and body. As the round progressed, Torres continued to string together quick flurries of punches and a variety of kicks. Hughes clinched and Torres tossed her to the mat. She landed rapid-fire punches as Hughes stood up and then slammed Hughes down into side control. 10-9 Torres, if not a 10-8.

Between rounds, the fight was stopped after Hughes indicated that she could not see out of her damaged left eye.

Winner: Tecia Torres by TKO (Doctor Stoppage – Eye Injury) at 5:00 of round one. She improves to 12-5-0.

 

Chase “The Dream” Hooper vs Peter “Slippery Pete” Barrett

Round 1:
Barrett landed a long jab and stuffed a takedown attempt in the opening minute. He attacked Hooper’s lead leg with kicks and followed with a counter right hook. Hooper jabbed and both men landed straight left hands. Time was called when Hooper was kicked in the groin. Action resumed and Barrett continued to land hard leg kicks. The fighters continued to trade kicks until Barrett was struck in the groin. Time was called once again, but Barrett recovered and the fight continued. Hooper ducked under a punch and tried for a takedown. Barrett defended with elbows to the side of Hooper’s head and Hooper dropped down with a rolling heel hook attempt just before the bell. 10-9 Barrett.

Round 2:
After an exchange of leg kicks in the second round, Hooper landed a hard left cross. Barrett returned fire with more leg kicks and Hooper began to limp. He tried to pull guard, but Barrett stood up and he forced Hooper to follow. Soon after, Hooper dove for a kneebar and he trapped Barrett in an inverted body triangle. Barrett managed to escape to his feet, but Hooper landed a left hand on the way up. Hooper missed with spinning attacks, but he landed a side kick to the body late in the round and Barrett responded with a right hook. 10-9 Barrett.

Round 3:
Both men landed leg kicks early in round three and Barrett backed Hooper up with a left hook. Hooper dropped down for an inside heel hook attempt and he kept Barrett tied up while landing hammerfists. Barrett tried to free his leg, but Hooper adjusted his grip and torqued on a conventional heel hook grip, forcing Barrett to hastily submit.

Winner: Chase Hooper by Submission (Heel Hook) at 3:02 of round three. He improves to 10-1-1.
