Sijara “SarJ” Eubanks vs Julia “Raging Panda” Avila

Round 1:
Avila jabbed her way into an exchange and both women landed huge power punches early on, with Avila stunned Eubanks on two occasions. Eubanks responded with a takedown into side control and she landed short strikes from the top until Avila used her legs to trap Eubanks’s head. Avila scrambled up and she held Eubanks against the cage. A battle for position followed and Avila dragged Eubanks down to the mat. She wound up on top in side control and threw occasional elbows while keeping Eubanks pinned down. In the final 30 seconds, Avila transitioned to Eubanks’s back, but Eubanks shook her off and attacked with hammerfists before the bell. Close, back-and-forth round. 10-9 Avila, barely.

Round 2:
The second round opened with Avila landing a lead left hook and she followed up with a quick combination. Soon after, Avila backed Eubanks up with punches, but she threw an ill-advised kick and Eubanks took her down. Avila looked for a kneebar from the bottom and then a triangle choke, but Eubanks escaped and passed to side control. Avila briefly regained half-guard, but Eubanks took side control again and she mounted Avila with an arm-triangle choke. Avila turned to her side to alleviate pressure and Eubanks switched to a neck crank. She gave it up and moved back to mount, trapping Avila in a tight arm-triangle choke in the process. Avila escaped, but Eubanks remained in a dominant position until the end of the round. 10-8 Eubanks.

Round 3:
Eubanks landed a hard combination to begin the final round and she clinched in search of a takedown. Avila defended initially, but Eubanks got her down into half-guard and she postured up with right hands. Avila tried to use the cage wall to get back to her feet, but Eubanks kept her pinned down and continuously peppered her with left hands to the face. Avila eventually got back to full guard and she postured for a triangle choke. She switched to an armbar and Eubanks pulled her arm free. Avila tried for a kneebar just before the bell and Eubanks blasted her with right hands. 10-9 Eubanks.

Winner: Sijara Eubanks by Unanimous Decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-27) after three rounds. She improves to 6-4-0.

 

Kevin “The Hard-Hitting Hillbilly” Croom vs Roosevelt “The Predator” Roberts

Round 1:
Croom rocked Roberts with a counter left hook in the opening seconds and Roberts dropped to his knees. Croom locked on a tight power guillotine choke as Roberts got back to his feet. Roberts tried to spin free, but he could not escape from Croom’s grasp and tapped out seconds later. Huge win for Croom.

Winner: Kevin Croom by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 0:31 of round one. He improves to 22-12-0.

 

Alexander “King Kong” Romanov vs Roque Martinez

Round 1:
Romanov countered a leg kick from Martinez with a hard kick to the body and he took Martinez down seconds later. Martinez looked for a heel hook from the bottom and Romanov blasted him with hammerfists. The fighters stood and Romanov suplexed Martinez down to the mat. He attempted a scarf hold, but Martinez pulled his head out and stood up momentarily. Romanov took Martinez back down and he used a keylock to set up a move to mount. Romanov dropped punches and elbows from the top as Martinez covered up. Romanov switched to knee-on-belly position and dropped more punches. Late in the round, Romanov locked on a straight armbar that had Martinez in some trouble, but he made it to the bell. 10-8 Romanov.

Round 2:
The second round began with another early takedown from Romanov, who struck from the top in Martinez’s half-guard. He used an arm-triangle choke attempt to pass to mount and briefly landed punches before moving to side control. Romanov took mount again and rained down hammerfists and punches as Martinez covered up. Martinez tried to scramble free as the round entered its final minute, but Romanov locked on another arm-triangle choke. This time, Martinez could not escape and he reluctantly tapped out.

Winner: Alexander Romanov by Submission (Arm-Triangle Choke) at 4:22 of round two. He improves to 12-0-0.

 

Jalin “The Tarantula” Turner vs Brok “Chata Tuska” Weaver

Round 1:
Turner stunned Weaver with a counter left cross to begin the fight and Weaver shot in for a takedown soon after. Turner stuffed it and he landed more punches to the face of Weaver, who began to bleed from the nose. Turner scored with front kicks to the body and a quick flurry of punches. Weaver responded with two leg kicks as he circled on the outside. The pace slowed somewhat as the round entered its final minute and both men landed leg kicks. Turner dropped Weaver with a lunging one-two and he followed with more punches on the ground. Weaver attempted a heel hook and scrambled up, and he landed short punches in a clinch to finish the round. 10-9 Turner.

Round 2:
Turner jabbed and followed with a body kick in the second round. Weaver kicked at his lead leg and clinched in search of a takedown. Turner shrugged him off and landed a quick flurry. Another clinch followed and Turner threw knees to Weaver’s face. Weaver broke free and jabbed, and the fighters continued to trade knees in the following minute. Turner dropped Weaver with a right hook, but motioned for him to get back up rather than following him to the ground. Weaver stood and a clinch followed. Turner dragged Weaver down into back control, and he quickly locked on a rear-naked choke that forced Weaver to submit.

Winner: Jalin Turner by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:20 of round two. He improves to 10-5-0.

 

Bryan “Bam Bam” Barberena vs Anthony “Aquaman” Ivy

Round 1:
Ivy circled on the outside in the opening minute before clinching and working for a takedown against the cage. He got Barberena down, but could not hold him there for long. Barberena stood and he threw short elbows and palm strikes to the side of Ivy’s head. The fighters separated and Ivy landed a right cross. He slipped while throwing a kick and Barberena allowed him to stand. He hurt Ivy with a hook to the body and follow-up punches, then followed with two elbows in a clinch. Ivy pushed him away and he dragged Barberena down to the mat soon after. He landed two elbows from the top before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Barberena due to damage.

Round 2:
Barberena landed a flurry of punches to begin the second round and he fought off a takedown attempt. The fighters separated and Barberena flurried to the body. Both men landed hard punches and Ivy shot in for a takedown. Barberena stuffed it and he used a front headlock to keep Ivy at bay. The fighters stood and Barberena countered a takedown attempt with a knee to Ivy’s face. Both men landed punches in a subsequent exchange and Ivy slowed down. He landed counter one-twos as Barberena pressed forward, however, and that stopped Barberena’s momentum briefly. Barberena closed in and landed elbows late in the round before clincing with Ivy against the fence. 10-9 Barberena.

Round 3:
Ivy secured a takedown early in the final round and he landed some solid punches to Barberena’s face and body. Barberena scrambled up to his feet and both men landed hooks. Ivy shot in for a sloppy takedown attempt and Barberena easily sprawled out to defend. He attempted a guillotine choke and used it to take top position in side control. Ivy scrambled and got back to his feet, and the fighters clinched against the cage. Big punches were exchanged and Barberena backed Ivy up. Ivy tried again for a takedown and Barberena stuffed it. Ivy got him down in the final 30 seconds and Barberena countered with a kimura from the bottom. Another close round. 10-9 Barberena by a slim margin.

Winner: Bryan Barberena by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 15-7-0.

 

Sabina “Colombian Queen” Mazo vs Justine Kish

Round 1:
Kish opened the action with three chopping leg kicks and she continued to attack Mazo’s lead leg in the ensuing seconds. Mazo responded with a head kick that halted Kish’s momentum. Kish began to bleed from a cut beside her left eye, but she remained effective with leg kicks. Mazo jabbed and landed body kicks as Kish attacked her lead leg once more. Mazo threw more body kicks and a knee as Kish struck from a distance. Mazo countered a combination from Kish with another kick to her upper body. Kish used her jab to set up a takedown late in the round. 10-9 Kish.

Round 2:
The second round began with an exchange of jabs and body kicks. Kish landed more leg kicks and spinning side kicks to the body. She followed with a head kick and a standing backfist. Kish continued to mix up her strikes with jabs and side kicks to Mazo’s body. The fighters clinched briefly with one minute remaining in the round and Kish punched her way free. Another clinch followed and both women landed knees to the body. 10-9 Kish.

Round 3:
Mazo kicked at Kish’s lead leg to begin the final round and Kish threw quick jabs from a southpaw stance. Mazo landed three head kicks in succession, but Kish stayed on her feet. She landed a spinning backfist and two leg kicks soon after. Mazo landed a quick punching combination and Kish responded with another leg kick. Mazo scored with a counter right hook as Kish pressed forward and she followed with body kicks. Seconds later, Mazo dropped Kish with a head kick and she locked on a rear-naked choke on the ground. Kish fought it momentarily before tapping out.

Winner: Sabina Mazo by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:57 of round three. She improves to 9-1-0.
