Impa “Tshilobo” Kasanganay vs Maki “Coconut Bombz” Pitolo

Round 1:
Quick kicks were exchanged early on and Pitolo landed a combination. Kasanganay responded with a leg kick and Pitolo flurried to the head and body. Both men landed one-twos and Pitolo followed with more punches that prompted Kasanganay to clinch. Pitolo broke free and he threw a grazing head kick. Kasanganay scored with an overhand right and he blocked a head kick. Pitolo landed a flurry, but Kasanganay swarmed on him with power punches that opened a cut above Pitolo’s right eye. A second cut was opened beside Pitolo’s left eye from Kasanganay’s right hands and he kept the pressure on until the bell. Close round. 10-9 Kasanganay due to the late-round offence.

Round 2:
Kasanganay landed overhand rights early in the second round and he followed with a body kick. Pitolo caught it and pushed him away. Kasanganay landed a stiff jab and he followed with two overhand punches. A clinch followed and Kasanganay broke free with a standing elbow. Pitolo landed a three-punch flurry in return, but Kasanganay remained effective with lead left hands. He cracked Pitolo with another standing elbow and a one-two over the top. Pitolo pressed forward late in the round and Kasanganay countered with another combination. 10-9 Kasanganay.

Round 3:
Pitolo opened the final round with lead left hooks to Kasanganay’s head and body. Kasanganay answered with an overhand right and he followed with a combination. Kasanganay landed a hard right cross to Pitolo’s jaw and he followed with a leg kick. Pitolo landed two body kicks in return, but Kasanganay remained the aggressor with one-twos as the round progressed. He scored with an uppercut and kept Pitolo on the defensive with jabs. Kasanganay landed a huge right hook with 30 seconds to go and the fighters circled until the bell. 10-9 Kasanganay.

Winner: Impa Kasanganay by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 8-0-0.

 

Zak Cummings vs Alessio “Manzo” Di Chirico

Round 1:
After an exchange of jabs, the fighters traded one-twos and Di Chirico countered a head kick from Cummings with a hard leg kick. Di Chirico looked for a takedown and Cummings stuffed it. A right hook landed for Di Chirico and he followed with a lead left hand. Di Chirico jabbed as the round entered its final minute and Cummings countered with leg kicks. Di Chirico landed three left hooks late in the round and that led to an exchange of power punches at the bell. 10-9 Di Chirico.

Round 2:
Cummings landed a chopping leg kick in the second round and Di Chirico responded immediately with a lunging one-two. Cummings walked him down and Di Chirico countered with jabs while circling to the side. Cummings landed a leg kick and a lead left hook, followed by another left hand soon after. Di Chirico blocked a head kick, but Cummings landed a follow-up left hook. An overhand left scored for Cummings and he cracked Di Chirico with two more left hands that backed Di Chirico up. 10-9 Cummings.

Round 3:
Cummings struck first with an overhand left and a leg kick in the final round. He followed with a left hook to the body and Di Chirico countered with a hard left hand to the jaw. Cummings ducked under a head kick attempt and circled to his left. Both men landed leg kicks and Di Chirico finished a looping combination with a left hook. Cummings answered back with a body kick and time was called soon after when Di Chirico was kicked in the groin. The fight continued and Di Chirico landed a right hook, but Cummings countered with a hard left hand. He followed with a one-two that knocked Di Chirico off-balance and the fighters traded punches. Cummings landed a head kick right at the bell that dropped Di Chirico, who got to his feet and stumbled into his corner. 10-9 Cummings due to the late rally.

Winner: Zak Cummings by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 24-7-0.

 

Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres vs Austin Springer

Round 1:
Springer attacked Caceres’s lead leg with two kicks to open the fight and Caceres staggered him with a head kick. Springer recovered and he landed another leg kick. The fighters continued to trade kicks and Caceres landed a left hook. Soon after, Caceres landed a right hook to the body and a left hand to the top of Springer’s head as Springer shot in for a takedown. Caceres took Springer’s back and locked on a rear-naked choke, forcing Springer to submit.

Winner: Alex Caceres by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:38 of round one. He improves to 17-12-0, 1 NC.

 

Sean Brady vs Christian “The Beast” Aguilera

Round 1:
The fighters traded leg kicks early on and Brady landed a lead left hook. More leg kicks and another left hook landed for Brady, who opened a cut beside Aguilera’s right eye. Brady continued to attack Aguilera’s lead leg with kicks and he followed with a combination. Aguilera scored with an overhand right that halted Brady’s momentum temporarily. Both men landed leg kicks and Brady took Aguilera down against the base of the cage. He postured up with punches and passed to half-guard late in the round. 10-9 Brady.

Round 2:
Both men landed lead left hooks early in the second round and Brady secured another takedown. He attacked with a guillotine choke from the top and Aguilera scrambled. He almost broke free, but Brady mounted him and tightened the choke. Aguilera was rendered unconscious almost immediately and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Sean Brady by Technical Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 1:47 of round two. He improves to 13-0-0.

 

Polyana “Dama de Ferro” Viana vs Emily “Spitfire” Whitmire

Round 1:
Whitmire opened the fight with front kicks and Viana quickly countered with a combination. Whitmire secured a takedown into side control and Viana fought her way back to full guard. She threw elbows from the bottom, then transitioned to a lightning-fast armbar. She pulled back on Whitmire’s arm and Whitmire yelled out in pain and submitted almost immediately.

Winner: Polyana Viana by Submission (Armbar) at 1:53 of round one. She improves to 11-4-0.

 

Mallory Martin vs Hannah “Shockwave” Cifers

Round 1:
Martin landed step-in right hands in the opening minute while Cifers circled on the outside. Both women landed combinations and Cifers followed with a leg kick. Martin scored with a hard right hand, but Cifers floored her with a huge overhand right. More punches landed for Cifers on the ground and she avoided an armbar attempt. Martin rose to her feet and Cifers blasted her with punches and knees. She stunned Martin with more hard punches and Martin resorted to pulling guard. Cifers stood with seconds to go and Martin followed. She circled away from Cifers until the bell. 10-8 Cifers.

Round 2:
Martin punched her way into a clinch and she took Cifers down into half-guard early in round two. Martin landed elbows and hammerfists from the top, then moved to full mount. She dropped elbows until Cifers gave up her back, and Martin locked on a tight rear-naked choke that forced Cifers to submit. Huge comeback win for Martin.

Winner: Mallory Martin by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 1:33 of round two. She improves to 7-3-0.
