Iuri “Marajo” Alcantara vs Brad “One Punch” Pickett

Round 1:
Alcantara landed a big knee in the opening round and he mixed things up with head kicks and another knee. Alcantara badly rocked Pickett with a spinning back elbow and he dropped him with punches. Pickett narrowly survived an onslaught of ground and pound from Alcantara, who transitioned to a top-side triangle choke. Pickett nearly escaped, but Alcantara reset the triangle and Pickett tapped.

Winner: Iuri Alcantara by Submission (Triangle Choke) at 1:59 of round one. He improves to 33-7-0, 1 NC.

 

Damian “Webster” Stasiak vs “Dangerous” Davey Grant

Round 1:
Stasiak caught a kick and took Grant down in the opening minute, but he was unable to keep him there for long and Grant returned to his feet. Stasiak landed kicks and lunging punches until Grant clinched and took him down against the cage. Stasiak battled back to his feet and both men threw spinning kicks. Grant scored a trip takedown, but Stasiak used butterfly hooks to elevate him and he swept into top position. The round ended with Stasiak landing short elbows from half-guard. 10-9 Stasiak.

Round 2:
Grant pressured Stasiak with punches and knees in round two and he hurt him with a flurry against the cage. Stasiak circled away and Grant landed a spinning hook kick. Stasiak fired back with a spinning back elbow and he tried to clinch, but Grant pushed him away and flurried to the head and body. Stasiak caught a kick and took Grant down, but Grant immediately returned to his feet and he landed hard knees and uppercuts. Grant took Stasiak’s back, but Stasiak spun free and mounted him in the final minute. Grant kicked Stasiak off and a sloppy scramble finished the round. 10-9 Grant.

Round 3:
Both men tried unsuccessfully for takedowns throughout the opening two minutes of the final round. Grant stuffed a takedown and took top position in Stasiak’s guard, but Stasiak framed up a triangle choke from the bottom. He quickly switched to an armbar and Grant rolled to try to escape. Stasiak went belly-down with the hold and Grant finally tapped out.

Winner: Damian Stasiak by Submission (Armbar) at 3:56 of round three. He improves to 10-3-0.

 

Leon “Rocky” Edwards vs Albert “Einstein” Tumenov

Round 1:
Edwards took Tumenov down on two occasions in the opening 90 seconds and he worked from the top with short punches. Edwards eventually passed to side control and then to mount, but Tumenov quickly scrambled and got back to half-guard. Edwards secured a guillotine choke as Tumenov returned to his feet, and he took Tumenov back down seconds later. Tumenov rolled over and Edwards flattened him out in back control before the bell. 10-9 Edwards.

Round 2:
The fighters traded cautious strikes in the second round and Tumenov fought off a takedown attempt. He landed a head kick and a combinatio, and shrugged off a clinch attempt. Late in the round, Tumenov landed a hard left hook and a one-two that stopped Edwards in his tracks. Another combination landed for Tumenov, and Edwards clinched before the end of the round. 10-9 Tumenov.

Round 3:
Tumenov began to throw leg kicks in the final round and he repeatedly scored with overhand lefts. Edwards shot in for a takedown and Tumenov pulled his leg free. Edwards got him down on his second try and transitioned to back control. He pulled back on a rear-naked choke and Tumenov was forced to submit.

Winner: Leon Roberts by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:01 of round three. He improves to 12-3-0.

 

Marc “Bonecrusher” Diakiese vs Łukasz “Wookie” Sajewski

Round 1:
Diakiese rushed forward right away, but Sajewski clinched and took him down into side control against the cage. He threw knees to the body and briefly passed to mount, but Diakiese regained half-guard. Sajewski threw short elbows from the top until Diakiese scrambled up to his feet. He landed hard punches, but Sajewski countered with a flurry and another takedown. He punched from the top in half-guard until Diakiese tried for a heel hook. The fighters stood and Diakiese landed a powerful leg kick. 10-9 Sajewski.

Round 2:
Diakiese opened round two with leg kicks and an overhand right. He picked his shots with hooks and uppercuts as Sajewski struggled to close the distance. Diakiese landed a jumping switch knee and he followed with more right hands. Sajewski slowed way down and Diakiese picked him apart with more hooks and uppercuts. In the final minute, Diakiese swarmed on Sajewski with knees and punches as Sajewski wilted against the cage, and the bout was finally stopped.

Winner: Marc Diakiese by TKO (Knees & Punches) at 4:40 of round two. He improves to 10-0-0.

 

Undercard Fights:

– “Platinum” Mike Perry defeated Danny “Hot Chocolate” Roberts by KO (Knee & Punches) at 4:40 of round three. He improves to 9-0-0 with the win.

– Leonardo Santos defeated Adriano Martins by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 16-3-1 with the win.
