Siyar “The Great” Bahadurzada vs Brandon “Rukus” Thatch
Round 1:
Thatch landed some nice kicks early on and the fighters traded knees in a clinch. Bahadurzada stunned him briefly with five right hooks, but Thatch recovered and he landed more hard knees. Thatch took Bahadurzada down, but he was quickly swept and Bahadurzada worked from the top. Thatch attacked with a triangle choke attempt, but Bahadurzada escaped and he finished the close round by landing ground and pound. 10-9 Bahadurzada.
Round 2:
Thatch hurt Bahadurzada with a front kick early in round two, but Bahadurzada took him down and punched from the top. Referee John McCarthy stood the fighters up and Thatch chopped away at Bahadurzada’s lead leg with kicks. Bahadurzada landed knees and uppercuts in a clinch and he took Thatch back down. Thatch attempted an armbar and Bahadurzada broke free by landing hammerfists. He postured up and rained down more punches in the final minute. 10-9 Bahadurzada.
Round 3:
Bahadurzada rocked Thatch with punches in the final round and he pushed him down to the mat. From Thatch’s guard, Bahadurzada landed hard punches and short elbows. The fighters were eventually stood up and Bahadurzada took Thatch right back down. He landed more short punches and elbows while an exhausted Thatch held on from the bottom. Bahadurzada locked on an arm-triangle choke and Thatch tapped out.
Winner: Siyar Bahadurzada by Submission (Arm-Triangle Choke) at 4:11 of round three. He improves to 22-6-1.
Nordine Taleb vs Erick “Índio” Silva
Round 1:
The fighters exchanged spinning back kicks in a cautious opening minute and both kept their distance. Taleb appeared to twist his ankle, but he continued to throw kicks and briefly took Silva down. Taleb struck from the top and the fighters stood. Silva faked a glove touch and immediately threw a punch. Both men landed leg kicks and Taleb capitalised on Silva’s forward momentum by throwing him to the mat. 10-9 Taleb.
Round 2:
More leg kicks were exchanges in the second round and Taleb mixed in right hands. He caught a kick from Silva and floored him with a massive right hook counter. Silva crashed face-first to the mat and the fight was stopped.
Winner: Nordine Taleb by KO (Punch) at 1:34 of round two. He improves to 12-3-0.
Vitor “Lex Luthor” Miranda vs Marcelo “Magrão” Guimarães
Round 1:
Guimarães worked for a takedown in the opening minute and he briefly got Miranda down against the cage. Miranda stood and the fighters were separated. Guimarães punched his way into another clinch and he landed knees to the body. Miranda hurt him with counter elbows and the fighters were separated again. Miranda landed stiff jabs and an uppercut. Close round. 10-9 Miranda.
Round 2:
Miranda badly rocked Guimarães with more slashing elbows as Guimarães worked for a takedown in round two. Guimarães gave up on the takedown and returned to his feet, but he was very wobbly. Miranda landed a head kick that sent Guimarães careening against the cage and the fight was stopped.
Winner: Vitor Miranda by TKO (Elbows & Head Kick) at 1:09 of round two. He improves to 12-4-0.
Darren “The Damage” Elkins vs Chas “The Scrapper” Skelly
Round 1:
Wild punches were exchanged early in the fight and Elkins pinned Skelly against the cage. He took Skelly down, but Skelly immediately attacked with two heel hook attempts that forced Elkins to roll and scramble. The fight returned to the feet and Elkins scored with a series of uppercuts in close. He followed with some nice knees to the body and looping hooks before the bell. 10-9 Elkins.
Round 2:
Elkins dragged Skelly down in round two and he struck from the top while pinning Skelly against the base of the cage. Skelly briefly returned to his feet, but Elkins took him down again and resumed his assault with ground and pound. He finished the round with some solid punches from Skelly’s guard. 10-9 Elkins.
Round 3:
Elkins took the fight to the mat again in the final round and he used ground and pound to set up a rear-naked choke attempt. Skelly scrambled up to his feet and Elkins connected with left and right hooks. He slammed Skelly down and tried for another rear-naked choke. Skelly escaped and stood up, but Elkins punished him with knees in the clinch. He tagged Skelly with a flurry before the final bell. 10-9 Elkins.
Winner: Darren Elkins by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 29-27) after three rounds. He improves to 20-5-0.
Undercard Fights:
– Diego “The Nightmare” Sanchez defeated Jim Miller by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 26-8-0 with the win.
