Ross “The Real Deal” Pearson vs Paul “The Irish Dragon” Felder

Round 1:
Felder opened the action with knees to the body and he followed with short elbows in a clinch against the cage. Pearson fought off a takedown attempt and broke free from the clinch. He caught a head kick attempt and took Felder down. Pearson punched from the top and Felder countered with hard elbows from his back. Felder stood and landed more short elbows and a knee. He fell to the ground after missing with a spinning backfist. 10-9 Felder.

Round 2:
Pearson landed a series of lead left hooks in the second round and he followed with a nice combination. The fighters traded leg kicks and Pearson landed a powerful kick to the liver. Felder landed a kick-punch combo and a spinning back kick to the ribs. Pearson punched to the body and lunged in with a left hook. He ducked under a spinning hook kick and the round ended with an exchange of punches. 10-9 Pearson.

Round 3:
The final round began with both fighters landing punches and knees. Pearson eventually backed Felder up against the cage and Felder countered with elbows. He broke free from the clinch, but Pearson tagged him with lead left hooks. A bloodied Felder pressed forward and just missed with a spinning hook kick. The entertaining fight ended with both men throwing power punches. Close round. 10-9 Pearson.

Winner: Ross Pearson by Split Decision (30-27, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 18-9-0, 1 NC.

 

John “Hands of Stone” Lineker vs Francisco “Cisco” Rivera

Round 1:
After trading punches in the opening minute, the fighters teed off with huge shots in a massive exchange that saw both men land massive haymakers. Lineker dropped Rivera with a left hook and followed with more big punches on the ground. Rivera weathered the storm and battled back to his feet. More big shots were exchanged in another standup war. Lineker appeared to be briefly wobbled, but he hurt Rivera again and Rivera shot in for a takedown. Lineker countered with a guillotine choke as he hit the mat and Rivera tapped out. Insane fight.

Winner: John Lineker by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 2:08 of round one. He improves to 26-7-0.

 

Raquel “Rocky” Pennington vs Jéssica “Bate Estaca” Andrade

Round 1:
Andrade pressed forward right away with punches that forced Pennington to clinch against the cage. Andrade elevated her and slammed her down to the mat. She hopped on Pennington’s back as the fight returned to the feet, but Pennington turned into the clinch. She landed a short left hook and an elbow, followed by knees to the body. Andrade got her down very briefly and tripped her again soon after. Pennington scrambled up and both women landed punches. Pennington scored with knees to the body and Andrade answered with some of her own. She took Pennington down again before the bell. 10-9 Andrade.

Round 2:
Both women landed power punches early in the second round and Andrade clinched with Pennington against the cage. Pennington circled away and ate a counter left hook. More big punches were exchanged and Andrade mixed in leg kicks. Pennington took Andrade down and Andrade used a guillotine choke to get back to her feet. She landed a hard knee and a left hook that caused Pennington’s right eye to swell up. Andrade pulled guard with a guillotine choke, but Pennington escaped and she locked on a tight rear-naked choke. Andrade tried to fight it, but tapped with seconds remaining.

Winner: Raquel Pennington by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:58 of round two. She improves to 6-5-0.

 

Tiago “Trator” dos Santos e Silva vs “Cassius” Clay Collard

Round 1:
Dos Santos countered early combinations from Collard with a knee to the body and a looping right hook. The fighters traded punches to the body and Collard pinned dos Santos against the fence. Collard landed more punches as the round progressed and dos Santos answered with a leg kick. He took Collard’s back and landed hard knees to the thigh. Dos Santos pulled Collard down to the mat, but wound up on the bottom. He used a heel hook attempt to sweep into full mount. Collard scrambled free and stood briefly, but dos Santos took him back down and locked on a rear-naked choke at the bell. 10-9 dos Santos.

Round 2:
Collard opened round two with a flurry and a body kick. Dos Santos cracked him with an overhand right and he followed with a knee. Both men landed leg kicks and Collard connected with another combination. He missed with wild spinning attacks, but scored with a four-punch flurry in close. Collard dropped dos Santos and followed with more punches on the ground, but dos Santos recovered and transitioned from an armbar to a heel hook. He swept into top position and moved from mount to Collard’s back. Collard escaped out the back and finished the round with ground and pound. 10-9 Collard.

Round 3:
The final round began with a one-two from Collard and dos Santos knocked him down with a counter leg kick. Collard stood and the fighters traded punches. Dos Santos landed a nice front kick to the body and he followed with a looping overhand right to the temple. Collard fought off a takedown attempt by landing a series of right uppercuts. He took dos Santos down, but the fight quickly returned to the feet. Dos Santos stuffed a takedown and he dragged Collard down. Collard rolled forward and attempted a kneebar, but dos Santos closed out the round on top. 10-9 dos Santos, barely.

Winner: Tiago dos Santos e Silva by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 20-5-2, 1 NC.

 

Undercard Fights:

– Joe “Diesel” Riggs defeated Ron “Choir Boy” Stallings by DQ (Illegal Upkick) at 2:28 of round two. He improves to 41-16-0, 1 NC with the win.

– Joaquim “Netto BJJ” Silva defeated Nazareno “El Tiger” Malegarie by Split Decision (30-27, 30-27, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 8-0-0 with the win.
