Daniel “The Hangman” Hooker vs Hatsu Hioki

Round 1:
Hooker landed a nice left hand in the opening minute and Hioki targeted the body. A punch-kick combo landed for Hioki and he snapped Hooker’s head back with a right cross. Time was called after Hioki was poked in the eye, but action resumed and Hioki scored with a body kick. He tagged Hooker with left-right combos and took him down near the cage. Hioki moved to mount, but Hooker swept and the fighters stood. Hooker landed a head kick late in the round. 10-9 Hioki.

Round 2:
Hioki caught a head kick and he took Hooker down in round two. From the top, Hioki landed hammerfists until Hooker scrambled up to his feet. Hioki jabbed and flurried with punches. He hurt Hooker with a liver kick and followed with more punches, but Hooker regained his footing and landed a devastating head kick. Hioki staggered and Hooker landed a follow-up right hand that sent an unconscious Hioki crashing head-first to the canvas.

Winner: Daniel Hooker by KO (Head Kick & Punch) at 4:13 of round two. He improves to 12-5-0.

 

Kyle “KO” Noke vs Jonavin “Spyder” Webb

Round 1:
Webb kept his distance in the opening minute and both fighters threw kicks. Noke countered a spinning back kick with a jumping switch kick to the body. Webb landed a nice left hook and he followed with a lead right hand. Webb dropped down with an Achilles lock attempt, but Noke pulled his leg free. The fighters stood and both landed kicks until Webb took Noke down. He transitioned from a guillotine choke to a rear-naked choke, then attacked with a calf slicer before the bell. 10-9 Webb.

Round 2:
Webb dropped Noke with a one-two very early in the second round and he took top position in half-guard. Noke escaped from an armbar attempt and he wound up on top himself. He landed punches until Webb attempted a heel hook. The fighters scrambled and Webb took Noke down. Back on the feet, Noke stuffed a takedown. Webb briefly took his back and he landed a huge left hand in the final seconds. 10-9 Webb.

Round 3:
The fighters were cautious early in the final round until Noke scored with a right cross and Webb answered with a left. He cracked Noke with two hard punches, but Noke was unfazed. Webb continued to land winging punches as Noke’s offensive output slowed down. Late in the round, Noke dropped Webb with a chopping leg kick. Webb returned to his feet and Noke landed a liver kick. Close round. 10-9 Noke, barely.

Winner: Kyle Noke by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 27-30) after three rounds. He improves to 21-7-1.

 

“Smile’n” Sam Alvey vs Daniel Kelly

Round 1:
Alvey cracked Kelly with an early three-punch combination and he dropped him with a one-two soon after. Kelly tried to get back to his feet, but Alvey knocked him down again. As Kelly stood up, Alvey floored him for a final time and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Sam Alvey by TKO (Punches) at 0:49 of round one. He improves to 26-6-0, 1 NC.

 

“Rowdy” Bec Rawlings vs Lisa Ellis

Round 1:
Ellis took Rawlings down right away and moved to half-guard. She attempted an armbar in a scramble, but lost the position and Rawlings wound up on top. Ellis stood briefly, but Rawlings reversed a takedown and struck from the top. The fighters stood and Rawlings tried for a standing guillotine choke. Ellis broke free, but Rawlings backed her up with punches and hurt her with two knees to the face. Ellis dove in for a takedown, but Rawlings took her back and locked on a fight-ending rear-naked choke.

Winner: Bec Rawlings by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:09 of round one. She improves to 6-4-0.

 

Bradley “Bear” Scott vs Dylan “The Villain” Andrews

Round 1:
Scott clinched and held Andrews against the cage early on, but Andrews dropped him with a big uppercut. Scott got back to his feet and he took Andrews down very briefly. Andrews stood against the fence and he dropped Scott with another right hand. Scott recovered and returned to his feet, but Andrews locked on a guillotine choke and he pushed Scott down to the mat. Scott escaped to his feet and landed some nice standing elbows, but Andrews took him down at the bell. 10-9 Andrews.

Round 2:
A big one-two scored for Scott in the second round and Andrews replied with a right hook. Both men just missed with haymakers and Andrews landed a combination. Andrews was punched in the eye and time was incorrectly called to allow him time to recover from the non-existent foul. Action resumed and Scott took Andrews down. He struck from the top with elbows and locked on an arm-in guillotine choke in a scramble. Scott rolled into mount with the choke and Andrews tapped out.

Winner: Bradley Scott by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 4:54 of round two. He improves to 10-3-0.

 

Alex “Astro Girl” Chambers vs Kailin Curran

Round 1:
Curran tripped Chambers with an early leg kick and cracked her with a hard right hand as she stood back up. Curran remained aggressive with her strikes, but Chambers managed to secure a takedown. Curran scrambled up and she reversed a takedown by throwing Chambers to the mat. From the top in half-guard, Curran landed left hands. Chambers stood and Curran landed punches and knees. Chambers kicked to the body and Curran flurried with more punches. Chambers briefly took her down, but Curran stood and punched to the body. 10-9 Curran.

Round 2:
Curran mixed things up with punches to the head and body in the second round. Chambers attempted a head kick, but Curran blocked it and countered with a right cross. Chambers slowed down and Curran kept the pressure on with punches. Head kicks were exchanged and Curran tripped Chambers after catching a body kick. She rained down punches from the top as Chambers tried to get back to her feet. Chambers stood and Curran kicked at her lead leg. Curran took Chambers down once more and Chambers countered with an omoplata attempt before the bell. 10-9 Curran.

Round 3:
Round three began with more crisp punches from Curran, who backed Chambers up against the cage. She took Chambers down and Chambers attacked with a kimura from the bottom. She switched to an armbar and broke Curran’s grip. Chambers pulled back on Curran’s arm and Curran was forced to submit. Huge comeback win.

Winner: Alex Chambers by Submission (Armbar) at 3:15 of round three. She improves to 5-2-0.

 

Brendan “The Badger” O’Reilly vs Vik “The Spartan” Grujic

Round 1:
The fighters battled for position in a clinch against the cage early on. O’Reilly eventually got Grujic down, but he could not keep him there for long. Grujic scored with looping punches until O’Reilly took him down again. He attempted a kimura and mounted Grujic soon after. Grujic initiated a scramble and he got back to his feet before the bell. 10-9 O’Reilly.

Round 2:
Grujic stunned O’Reilly with uppercuts in the second round, but O’Reilly closed the distance and clinched against the fence. Grujic countered with elbows and left hands, and O’Reilly slowed way down. Hard punches were exchanged and O’Reilly landed a front kick to the body. Grujic began to fatigue as well and O’Reilly took him down. Grujic stood and he landed uppercuts to the head and body. O’Reilly scored with a flurry of his own, but Grujic answered with a head kick. He bounced O’Reilly’s head off of the cage with punches and took him down. Time expired just as Grujic was locking on a rear-naked choke. 10-9 Grujic.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of looping punches and the fighters clinched again. Grujic threw short punches and O’Reilly answered with knees to the body. He took Grujic down and landed right hands until Grujic battled back to his feet. O’Reilly secured one more takedown in the final 15 seconds. 10-9 O’Reilly.

Winner: Brendan O’Reilly by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 6-1-0, 1 NC.

 

Ben “10” Nguyen vs Alptekin “The Turkish Delight” Ozkilic

Round 1:
Nguyen opened the fight with leg kicks and he followed with a counter right uppercut. Ozkilic fired off a combination and Nguyen threw more kicks. He dropped Ozkilic with a flurry and dove in with punches, but Ozkilic recovered and stood up. He took Nguyen down and landed short elbows from the top. Nguyen scrambled up and ate a pair of knees to the body on the way. Ozkilic landed a combination, but Nguyen cut him on the nose with a counter one-two. Hard punches were exchanged and Nguyen reversed a takedown. The fighters stood and Nguyen dropped Ozkilic again. He unloaded with punches until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Ben Nguyen by TKO (Punches) at 4:59 of round one. He improves to 14-5-0.
