Alexis “Ally-Gator” Davis vs Jessica “Evil” Eye

Round 1:
Davis opened the fight with a leg kick and that set off an exchange of punches in close. Eye backed Davis up against the cage and she landed a crisp combination. Davis countered with a front kick to the face, but Eye landed another flurry and she clinched again. The fighters were separated and Davis kicked at Eye’s lead leg. Both women landed hooks and uppercuts.

Davis continued to target Eye’s leg with kicks and Eye answered back with more punches. Davis tried to trip her to the mat and Eye stayed up. Eye broke free of the clinch with an overhand right and she landed some nice leg kicks of her own. Davis got Eye down into side control, but Eye scrambled and got back to half-guard. Davis closed out the round on top. 10-9 Davis by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Eye followed up on an early jab by landing a standing elbow in the second round, but Davis took her down and struck from the top. Eye kept Davis’s leg locked down and prevented her from passing to side control. Davis landed short elbows from half-guard and continued to smother Eye as the round progressed. Davis looked to set up a rear-naked choke and then a keylock, but Eye squirmed free. Davis landed hammerfists from the back and nearly locked on a rear-naked choke in the final seconds. 10-9 Davis. Close to a 10-8.

Round 3:
Both women landed punch-kick combos to begin the final round and Eye caught a kick from Davis, who pulled her leg free. Davis continued to kick at Eye’s leg, but she ate a hard left hook in return. Eye landed a nice two-punch combo and stuffed a takedown. She caught another body kick, but Davis pulled her leg back again.

Eye landed a leg kick and both fighters scored with quick combinations. Eye backed Davis up with an uppercut and a series of punches over the top. Davis regained her footing and pressed forward with jabs, but Eye snapped her head back with a counter jab. Eye kicked at Davis’s leg and landed more jabs. She landed a right hook before the bell. 10-9 Eye.

Winner: Alexis Davis by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 16-5-0.

 

Raphael Assuncao vs Pedro “The Young Punisher” Munhoz

Round 1:
Assuncao landed a series of leg kicks and a three-punch combo in round one. He countered kicks from Munhoz with a nice right hand. Munhoz kicked to the body and Assuncao answered with a spinning back kick to the body. More kicks landed for both men and Munhoz connected with a lunging right cross. Assuncao threw quick two- and three-punch combinations off of leg kicks from Munhoz. As the round progressed, Munhoz stuck with leg kicks and Assuncao fired back with more quick flurries. Assuncao landed a knee late in the round, but his left leg was noticeably swollen. 10-9 Assuncao.

Round 2:
Hard punches were exchanged in round two and Assuncao took Munhoz down, but Munhoz countered with a heel hook attempt and he battled back to his feet. Munhoz kicked at Assuncao’s legs, which forced Assuncao to continuously switch stances. Assuncao scored another takedown and Munhoz kicked from his back. Assuncao slammed Munhoz, but Munhoz tied him up well. Close round. 10-9 Assuncao.

Round 3:
Assuncao landed a combination to Munhoz’s left eye in round three, but Munhoz pressed the action with punches of his own. Both men landed leg kicks and Assuncao connected with a three-punch flurry in close. He landed a head kick, but Munhoz was unfazed. Assuncao flurried to the body and head, and he kept Munhoz at bay with stiff jabs. In the final 20 seconds, Assuncao landed more punches and he took Munhoz down shortly before time expired. 10-9 Assuncao.

Winner: Raphael Assuncao by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 22-4-0.

 

Aljamain “Funk Master” Sterling vs Cody “The Renegade” Gibson

Round 1:
Sterling opened the action with a front kick and followed with spinning attacks. He faked a shot and the fighters exchanged knees in close. Gibson took Sterling down and landed a right hand on the way up. Sterling escaped from his grasp and both men threw wild punches. Sterling took Gibson’s back and dragged him to the mat.

Gibson recovered full guard and got to his knees. Sterling attempted a front choke and more knees were exchanged. Gibson mixed in uppercuts and Sterling backed him up to the cage. He continued to score with knees while pinning Gibson against the fence. The round ended with both men landing short punches in the clinch. 10-9 Sterling.

Round 2:
Gibson countered early strikes from Sterling by tying him up against the cage in round two. Sterling could not escape from Gibson’s grasp and Gibson got him down to the ground. Sterling battled back to his feet and the fighters traded knees to the body in the clinch. Sterling reversed position against the cage and backed away. He landed a nice leg kick and Gibson ducked under a spinning back elbow. He took Sterling down and secured back control as Sterling stood. Gibson locked on a guillotine choke as Sterling slammed him down, but Sterling pulled his head free. 10-9 Gibson.

Round 3:
Sterling scored a takedown in the final round and he landed short punches with his left hand as Gibson tried to stand. Sterling worked for a Brabo choke and Gibson appeared to be in some trouble, but Sterling eventually let go of the choke and the fight returned to the feet. Sterling fell after a clash of heads, but he recovered and tripped Gibson to the mat. Sterling punched from the top and worked for a rear-naked choke after Gibson gave up his back. He got the choke, but Gibson escaped and made it to the bell. 10-9 Sterling.

Winner: Aljamain Sterling by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-0-0.

 

Zach “Fun Size” Makovsky vs Joshua “The Gremlin” Sampo

Round 1:
Makovsky secured an early double-leg takedown and Sampo countered with an omoplata attempt from his back. Makovsky escaped and struck from the top. Sampo tried to scramble up, but Makovsky stood and dropped two big left hands. Sampo worked for another omoplata and Makovsky escaped again. Sampo fought his way back to his feet and the fighters traded punches. Sampo faked a shot and Makovsky landed a knee to the chest late in the round. 10-9 Makovsky.

Round 2:
Following an exchange of leg kicks and punches, Makovsky took Sampo back down in round two. He postured up in Sampo’s half-guard, but Sampo scrambled back to full guard. Makovsky attempted a front choke as Sampo got to his knees, but Sampo pulled his head free and stood up. Makovsky snuck in a short uppercut and followed with a head kick that landed. Sampo tried for a head kick of his own, but Makovsky took him down and wound up on top. Sampo attempted a kimura just before the bell. 10-9 Makovsky.

Round 3:
Both men landed punches in the opening minute of round three, but Makovsky lost his balance in an exchange and Sampo knocked him down. He punched from the top and kept Makovsky pinned against the base of the cage. Makovsky used the fence to fight back to his feet, but Sampo landed punches on the way up. Makovsky tripped Sampo and briefly took his back. Sampo rolled over and Makovsky tried to pass his guard. He got to half-guard and punched from the top until Sampo stood with five seconds remaining. Close round. 10-9 Makovsky, barely.

Winner: Zach Makovsky by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 18-4-0.

 

Erik “New Breed” Koch vs Rafaello “Tractor” Oliveira

Round 1:
The opening round began with an exchange of kicks and Koch dropped Oliveira with a straight left hand. He stood over a downed Oliveira and dropped a series of heavy punches that hard Oliveira in trouble. Oliveira managed to block some of the strikes, but Koch continued to batter him with pinpoint punches until the fight was finally stopped.

Winner: Erik Koch by TKO (Punches) at 1:24 of round one. He improves to 14-3-0.

 

Ernest “The Mad Titan” Chavez vs Yosdenis “The Pink Panther” Cedeno

Round 1:
Cedeno kicked from a distance in the opening minute and stepped in with an overhand right. Chavez began to land leg kicks of his own and he ducked under a head kick. Cedeno stuffed a takedown and Chavez landed another leg kick. Chavez countered a spinning hook kick by muscling Cedeno to the ground. Cedeno rolled forward and Chavez wound up on top in a top-side crucifix. He briefly took Cedeno’s back and the round ended in a clinch. 10-9 Chavez.

Round 2:
Chavez countered kicks from Cedeno with quick punches in round two. He narrowly ducked under a head kick and took Cedeno down into side control. He landed short strikes and attempted to pass to mount, but Cedeno scrambled up to his feet. Chavez pinned him against the cage and kneed Cedeno’s thigh. The fighters exchanged punches and Chavez landed a combination before the bell. 10-9 Chavez.

Round 3:
Chavez opened round three with more kicks and Cedeno circled on the outside. Chavez pressed the action and easily stuffed a takedown attempt. He held Cedeno against the fence, but Cedeno broke free and threw three head kicks in succession. Chavez blocked them, but Cedeno landed a chopping leg kick. Cedeno continued to throw kicks and Chavez countered with two left hooks. A three-punch flurry scored for Cedeno shortly before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Cedeno.
