Ronald “R.J.” Buck vs Darryl “The Natural” Davis
Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jerry Poe. Buck took Davis down right away and punched from Davis’s guard. Davis looked to set up a triangle choke, but Buck had none of it and moved to side control. He continued to strike from the top and Davis was unable to get back to his feet. The round ended with Buck in side control landing hammerfists. 10-9 Buck.
Round 2:
Buck picked Davis up and slammed him to the ground in round two. He postured up in Davis’s butterfly guard and punched with his right hand. Buck moved to side control and landed dozens of hammerfists to the face and body of Davis. Another barrage of punches scored for Buck in the final five seconds. 10-8 Buck.
Round 3:
Buck took Davis down in the final round and moved back to side control. Buck went to knee-on-belly position and rained down hammerfists. Davis blocked many of them, but enough got through to prompt referee Jerry Poe to stop the fight.
Winner: Ronald Buck by TKO (Punches) at 1:28 of round three.
Athlone “A.J.” Dobson vs Joshua John “The Ox” Lasich
Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jerry Krzys. Dobson fought off an early takedown attempt from Lasich and took his back in a scramble seconds later. He tried for an inverted triangle choke from back control, but Lasich spun free and punched from the top. He stood and Dobson dragged him back down to the mat. Lasich methodically worked to set up a triangle choke and he eventually got it. Lasich kept Dobson trapped in the triangle and punched until the bell to steal the round. 10-9 Lasich.
Round 2:
The second round began with an exchange of power punches and Dobson wobbled Lasich with a one-two. Lasich stumbled backward, but he regained his footing and took Dobson down. Dobson worked for a triangle choke from his back and tried to tighten the choke. Referee Jerry Krzys bizarrely stood the fighters up and Dobson reversed a takedown. He postured up and landed some solid punches in the final minute. 10-9 Dobson.
Round 3:
Lasich attempted a takedown in the final round, but he wound up on his back and Dobson passed to side control. Lasich tried to fight back to his feet, but Dobson kept him pinned down and moved to North-South position. Lasic briefly trapped him in an inverted triangle choke. He let it go and the fighters stood. Lasich landed a combination and Dobson answered back with looping punches and a takedown. He remained on top until the bell. 10-9 Dobson.
Winner: Athlone Dobson by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds.
Dave Lastafka vs Michael “Money” Schimek
Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jerry Poe. Schimek stepped forward with a push kick and Lastafka floored him with an overhand left. A barely conscious Schimek dropped to his knees and Lastafka unloaded with punches until the brief bout was waved off.
Winner: Dave Lastafka by KO (Punches) at 0:12 of round one.
Jerrell “Thundercat” Hodge vs Ethan McGee
Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jerry Krzys. Hodge took McGee down immediately, but McGee worked back to his feet and the fighters clinched against the cage. Hodge reversed a throw attempt and punched from the top while pinning McGee upside-down against the fence. He tried to move to mount, but McGee scrambled and the fight returned to the feet. Hodge took McGee down again and landed hammerfists from half-guard. 10-9 Hodge.
Round 2:
Hodge caught a kick and took McGee down in round two. He slammed free of an armbar attempt and landed short punches until the fighters were stood up. McGee clinched and held Hodge against the fence throughout the final minute, but he was unable to secure a takedown. 10-9 Hodge.
Round 3:
Hodge countered a combination by taking McGee back down again in the final round. He escaped an omoplata attempted and moved to mount. Hodge switched to a high mount and pinned down McGee’s right arm. He punched from the back and took McGee’s back when McGee tried to buck and escape. Hodge locked on an arm-triangle choke in the dying seconds, but time expired. 10-9 Hodge.
Winner: Jerrell Hodge by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds.
Isaiah “Izzy” William vs Samuel Callari
Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jerry Poe. The fight began with an exchange of right hooks and body kicks. William landed a combination, but Callari countered with a right hand. He walked forward and was dropped by a right hook from William, who swarmed with punches on the ground. Callari survived and William dropped back for an Achilles lock. The fighters returned to their feet and William landed another combination that sent Callari crashing to the mat. William followed with more punches until the fight was stopped.
Winner: Isaiah William by TKO (Punches) at 2:12 of round one.
