Miesha “Cupcake” Tate vs Julie “Fireball” Kedzie

Round 1:
Punches were exchanged right away and Kedzie hurt Tate with a head kick. She flurried with punches and Tate regained her composure. Kedzie landed a body kick and a right cross, then cracked Tate with a counter right hook as Tate clinched. Kedzie stayed on her feet and landed a knee to the body. She continued to mix up her strikes with punches and body kicks.

Tate took Kedzie down, but Kedzie immediately reversed and scrambled to her feet. She landed a combination and stuffed a takedown while landing hammerfists. The fighters stood and Kedzie rushed in with punches. Tate scored with an overhand right, but she could not get Kedzie down. Kedzie dropped Tate with a side kick, but fell into a triangle choke. Tate rolled into mount and Kedzie reversed as the bell sounded. Dominant 10-9 for Kedzie.

Round 2:
An exchange of jabs opened round two and Kedzie landed a head kick. Tate managed to get her down, but Kedzie locked on a triangle choke and threw elbows. She transitioned to an omoplata and Tate tried to punch her way free. She took Kedzie’s back in a scramble and secured a body triangle.

Kedzie rolled to defend against the choke and managed to escape. Tate wound up in mount and attempted a guillotine choke. Kedzie fought free and the fighters stood up. In the clinch, Kedzie landed a standing elbow and Tate worked for a takedown. She got Kedzie down to a knee and pinned her there until the end of the round. 10-9 Tate.

Round 3:
Kedzie dropped Tate with a leg kick to begin the final round and allowed her to stand. Tate tried for a takedown and Kedzie sprawled out to defend. Kedzie landed another leg kick and floored Tate with a head kick. She blasted Tate on the ground with elbows and hammerfists.

Tate countered with an armbar and Kedzie stacked her to defend. Kedzie rolled and attempted to free herself, but Tate wrenched back on the arm. Kedzie used her leg to defend and clenched her hands together, but Tate broke her grip and pulled back once more. Kedzie was forced to submit. Fantastic fight.

Winner: Miesha Tate by Submission (Armbar) at 3:28 of round three. She improves to 13-3-0.

 

Adlan Amagov vs Keith “KO Kid” Berry

Round 1:
Amagov landed a spinning back kick to the body and dropped Berry with a seemingly illegal front kick to the knee. Amagov dove in with punches as Berry tried to indicate to referee Herb Dean that he was okay. Dean misunderstood and the bout was stopped, giving Amagov the win. The crowd voiced its displeasure with the result.

Winner: Adlan Amagov by TKO (Kick To The Knee & Punches) at 0:48 of round one. He improves to 10-2-1.

 

Germaine “The Iron Lady” de Randamie vs Hiroko “Cat’s Eye” Yamanaka

Round 1:
Yamanaka circled on the outside and jabbed early on. De Randamie grazed her chin with a looping right hook and followed with another soon after. Yamanaka landed a left hook, but a counter right from de Randamie backed her up. Another right hook scored for de Randamie and Yamanaka threw a leg kick in return. Yamanaka clinched and pressed de Randamie up against the cage. She threw short knees until the fighters were separated. Close round. 10-9 de Randamie.

Round 2:
Yamanaka again kept her distance in round two and de Randamie landed single punches until the fighters clinched two minutes into the round. Yamanaka tried to take de Randamie down, but she could not. The fighters were separated and de Randamie landed a nice combination. The fighters traded punches late in the round and de Randamie landed left and right hooks. 10-9 de Randamie.

Round 3:
De Randamie landed a short right hook in the final round and Yamanaka replied with one of her own. She tried to clinch, but de Randamie shrugged her off. De Randamie connected with a right hand over the top and Yamanaka landed two punches in return. She clinched, but ate a pair of counterpunches on the way in.

De Randamie fired off a big combination and Yamanaka gamely answered with a one-two. She clinched and tried to throw de Randamie to the mat, but de Randamie broke away from the clinch with a right hand. More punches were exchanged and de Randamie landed a one-two and a glancing head kick. She followed with a knee and a front kick at the bell. 10-9 de Randamie.

Winner: Germaine de Randamie by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 3-2-0.

 

Bobby “King” Green vs Matt Ricehouse

Round 1:
An exchange of leg kicks opened the fight and Ricehouse landed a nice combination. Green scored with a right hook and a knee. More punches were exchanged and Green landed a big knee, but Ricehouse appeared to be unfazed. Ricehouse snuck in an uppercut and Green fired back with a leg kick and a right hand.

Ricehouse flurried with punches, but Green dropped him with a right and swarmed with more punches as Ricehouse stood. Green landed a hard knee to the body and Ricehouse circled away to recover. Time was briefly called after Ricehouse was kneed in the groin. Green scored a bodylock takedown in the final seconds and landed two knees on the way up. 10-9 Green.

Round 2:
Green landed knees and shrugged off a takedown attempt in round two. Ricehouse replied with a knee of his own and Green clinched in search of a takedown. He released his grip on Ricehouse’s leg and the fighters exchanged more knees. Ricehouse landed a nice right hand and Green closed in with uppercuts and a right to the body.

Green jabbed and landed another uppercut, then avoided a counter one-two. He took Ricehouse’s back and dragged him to the mat. Green tried for a rear-naked choke, but Ricehouse scrambled up to his feet. He pinned Green against the cage and threw short punches until the bell. 10-9 Green.

Round 3:
Green remained a step ahead in the striking exchanges in the final round. Ricehouse landed a stiff jab, but missed with a follow-up body kick. Green closed in with punches and Ricehouse clinched against the cage. Green reversed and tripped Ricehouse to the mat very briefly. Ricehouse stood and Green landed a right hook to the body.

Green scored with a switch kick and Ricehouse returned fire with a quick flurry. He landed a short right hand and tried to clinch, but Green circled out. Ricehouse flurried again and stayed on the outside. Green threw two more knees to the body and shrugged off a clinch attempt late in the round. 10-9 Green.

Winner: Bobby Green by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 19-5-0.
