“Money” Michael Schimek vs Brad Orsbone

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jerry Krzys. Orsbone landed a nice left hook and a knee early on and followed with more big punches. Schimek clinched and took Orsbone down against the cage. Orsbone scrambled up and scored a takedown of his own. He landed punches as Schimek stood up and secured a guillotine choke. Schimek escaped, but Orsbone landed a knee and dragged him to the mat. From back control, Orsbone landed punches and tried for a rear-naked choke. Schimek escaped out the back and landed a knee to the body as the fight returned to the feet. 10-9 Orsbone.

Round 2:
Orsbone rocked Schimek with punches early in round two, but Schimek regained his footing and fired back with a right hook. Orsbone took Schimek down and tried to take his back, but Schimek swept into mount and rained down some big punches. Schimek continued to strike from the top and the bout was stopped after a final flurry.

Winner: Michael Schimek by TKO (Punches) at 1:53 of round two.

 

Jarrell “Thundercat” Hodge vs Shawn “Silverback” King

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Rick Fike. King clinched and tried for a takedown early on, but Hodge wound up on top and landed punches from King’s guard. Hodge moved to half-guard and landed a nice left hook as King scrambled to his feet. King scored with a right hand and Hodge answered with knees. Hodge took King down and moved to side control to escape a loose guillotine choke. Hodge landed punches, but King regained full guard before the bell. 10-9 Hodge.

Round 2:
Huge punches were exchanged early in round two, but neither fighter landed cleanly. Hodge slammed King down and found himself trapped in a guillotine choke. Hodge stayed calm and eventually pulled his head free. He moved to side control and then to a top-side crucifix. Hodge tried for a keylock and a straight armbar, but let the submission go and moved straight to mount. King gave up his back and Hodge secured a rear-naked choke for the tapout victory.

Rebecca Heintzman vs “Rowdy” Ronda Gale

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jerry Krzys. The fighters exchanged knees in the clinch in the opening minute and Heintzman pressed Gale up against the cage. She took Gale down and passed to half-guard. Heintzman postured up with two big punches and Gale scrambled to her feet. Heintzman locked on a Brabo Choke and then transitioned to Gale’s back. She landed heel strikes to the thighs and worked for a rear-naked choke until the bell. 10-9 Heintzman.

Round 2:
Heintzman clinched again in round two and punched to the body. Gale countered with knees, but Heintzman rocked her with a big right hook. Gale stayed on her feet against the cage, but Heintzman landed more punches. She took Gale down and moved to side control. Heintzman landed short hammerfists, but Gale kicked her off. Heintzman took Gale’s back and locked on a rear-naked choke in the dying seconds. Gale was unable to hold on and tapped out.

Winner: Rebecca Heintzman by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:53 of round two.

 

Jason Olson vs Clark Young

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Rick Fike. After a brief clinch, Olson scored with a barrage of punches and a big knee. Young backed him up to the cage and worked for a takedown. Olson eventually broke free and landed a one-two and another knee. A right hook put Young down for good and Olson landed four punches on the ground before the referee dove in for the save.

Winner: Jason Olson by KO (Punch) at 2:15 of round one.

 

Windom Craig vs Nick Stuff

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jerry Krzys. After a quick exchange of punches, Stuff backed Craig up to the cage. Craig circled out and targeted the body with punches. Stuff tried for a takedown, but Craig defended. Stuff got him down on his third try and landed short left hands while pinning down Craig’s right arm. Stuff landed numerous punches and prevented Craig from getting back to his feet. Craig finally scrambled up and both fighters landed big punches to end the round. 10-9 Stuff.

Round 2:
Stuff clinched immediately in round two and landed a right hook in close. Craig broke away with an uppercut and the fighters traded big shots. Craig got the better of it and stuffed a takedown. He landed punches as Stuff turtled on the mat. Stuff stood and landed a hard one-two and a knee. Craig teed off and hurt Stuff with a left. A final flurry dropped Stuff and the fight was waved off.

Winner: Windom Craig by TKO (Punches) at 2:12 of round two.

 

Kenny “The Black Spartan” Jackson vs Michael Benjamin “Too Pretty” Putnam

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Rick Fike. Both fighters were cautious and pawed out with jabs early on. Putnam tried to push forward with right hooks, but Jackson circled and countered nicely. Putnam clinched and Jackson jumped into a guillotine choke. Putnam slammed Jackson down and landed knees and punches on the way up. Jackson rocked Putnam with a left hook, but Putnam took Jackson down before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Putnam.

Round 2:
Jackson jabbed and landed a lead right hook in round two. Putnam latched onto a leg and threw Jackson to the mat, but Jackson locked on an inverted triangle choke from the bottom. Putnam had nowhere to go and quickly tapped out.

Winner: Kenny Jackson by Submission (Inverted Triangle Choke) at 1:23 of round two.

 

Wayne Lanum vs Christopher Brown

Round 1:
Referee for this bout is Jerry Krzys. Brown clinched and backed Lanum up to the cage to start the fight. Lanum countered with a nice knee to the body and used a hip toss to throw Brown to the mat. From side control, Lanum locked on a Brabo Choke and then switched to a power guillotine. He let it go and transitioned to Brown’s back. Lanum worked for a rear-naked choke, but Brown scrambled to his feet. Lanum pulled half-guard with a guillotine choke, but Brown escaped before the bell. Lanum suffered a cut on his forehead due to an inadvertent clash of heads in the final seconds. 10-9 Lanum.

Round 2:
The fighters clinched again to begin round two and traded knees in close. A big exchange of punches followed and Lanum threw Brown to the mat. Brown immediately stood back up and both fighters landed more knees. The relatively uneventful round ended with a final exchange of knees. 10-10.

Round 3:
The final round opened with a lengthy exchange of power punches and Brown clinched against the cage. Lanum briefly took Brown down, but Brown stood and Lanum continued to bleed heavily from the cut on his forehead suffered in round one. Lanum flurried with punches and Brown fired back with a hard right hook. Lanum picked Brown up and slammed him down, then tried for a guillotine choke. Brown escaped and wound up on top in side control. He landed short hammerfists from the top until the bell. Very close round. 10-9 Brown, just barely.

Winner: Wayne Lanum by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds.
