Alex “Poatan” Pereira avenged a loss and reclaimed the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship in quick fashion on October 4th at UFC 320 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pereira stopped Magomed Ankalaev early in the first round and he now moves back to the top of the 205-pound rankings.

In the UFC 320 co-feature, Merab “The Machine” Dvalishvili held on to his UFC Bantamweight Championship and top spot at 135 pounds by defeating challenger Cory “The Sandman” Sandhagen. Elsewhere, Mackenzie Dern claimed the vacant UFC women’s strawweight title with a win at UFC 321.
