Invicta Fighting Championships returned to its original home at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas tonight with a card featuring international talent. Invicta FC 55 was headlined by a bantamweight championship bout as defending champion Talita Bernardo faced challenger “Big Bad” Olga Rubin.
In the strawweight co-main event, Kay Hansen returned to Invicta FC for the first time since 2020 when she took on undefeated Sayury Canon. Deep and Deep Jewels Microweight Champion Saori Oshima met Andressa Romero at atomweight. MMARising.com has live play-by-play for Invicta FC 55.

Rena Kubota will seek her second victory of 2024 when she competes on July 28th at Rizin Fighting Federation: “Super Rizin 3” in Saitama, Japan. Kubota faces off against Deep Jewels prospect Kate “Lotus” Oyama, who makes her promotional debut, in a featured super atomweight matchup.
The bout between Kubota and Oyama was officially announced during Rizin FF 47 today. Kubota has had ups and downs in recent fights, but she has won six of her past eight bouts and remains a top star for Rizin. Oyama is coming off of her biggest victory to date at Deep Jewels 44 in March.

Undefeated 20-year-old Honoka Shigeta makes the first defence of her Flyweight Queen of Pancrase title on July 21st at Pancrase 346 in Tokyo, Japan. Shigeta faces off against long-time Deep Jewels contender Shizuka Sugiyama, who recently won her first bout under the Pancrase banner.
Shigeta captured the title with a five-round Unanimous Decision victory over Takayo Hashi at Pancrase 341 in March. It was her fourth Pancrase win in a span of just 11 months. On that same card, Sugiyama won her promotional debut by defeating Emiko “Fujin” Raika in a rematch from December 2014.
