NAAFS Moves Aisling Daly vs Kelly Warren To November 23North American Allied Fight Series champion Aisling “Ais The Bash” Daly will defend her 125-pound women’s title against Kelly Warren next month, but the bout takes place later than first planned. Daly and Warren face off at NAAFS: “Night of Champions 2011” on November 23rd in Canton, Ohio.

Daly, who captured the title by defeating Ohio favourite Jessica “Evil” Eye in June, had expected to face Warren at “Eve of Destruction 2” on November 19th, but that card has now been rebooked for December 17th. Daly has won three of her last four fights. Warren is unbeaten in three pro bouts.

Daly (12-2-0) moved down from her home at 125 pounds to take part in last year’s Bellator 115-pound women’s tournament, but dropped a Unanimous Decision to Lisa Ellis-Ward in the quarterfinal round. She returned to 125 and picked up a decision victory over Molly Helsel in November. This year began with a setback for Daly, as she was quickly stopped by Sheila Gaff under the Cage Warriors banner in April. She rebounded by submitting Eye in round two of their June title tilt to become the first NAAFS pro female champion and most recently defeated Angela Hayes in 20 seconds in September.

Warren (3-0-0) will take a step up in competition to challenge Daly, but she has yet to taste defeat in her professional career and is coming off of a pair of submission wins. Now training with the respected Jackson’s MMA team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Warren will step into the cage for the first time since June to face Daly. She has recently missed weight on two occasions when trying to drop down below 125, but expects to hit the marks for her 125-pound title fight opportunity.

North American Allied Fight Series: “Night of Champions 2011” takes place on November 23rd at the Canton Civic Center in Canton, Ohio. The bout between Daly and Warren headlines the card.
