Dream.3 Fights Announced

Fighting and Entertainment Group has announced four additional bouts for its upcoming Dream.3 event on May 11th, including bouts featuring Nick Diaz, Katsuya Inoue, Jason "Mayhem" Miller and feared Dutch striker Melvin Manhoef.

Manhoef will compete against Dae Won Kim in a reserve bout for the DREAM Middleweight Grand Prix, in a continuance of Manhoef's recent string of fights against Judo practitioners.

Nick Diaz will look to rebound from his title loss to KJ Noons in EliteXC when he takes on former King of Pancrase Katsuya Inoue. The winner of the bout is expected to face Hayato "Mach" Sakurai for the newly-created DREAM Welterweight Championship at Dream.5 or Dream.6. In the meantime, Sakurai will be taking on David Baron in a Shooto event tomorrow.

In the final first-round Middleweight Grand Prix bout, former ICON Sport Middleweight Champion Jason "Mayhem" Miller will take on Japanese professional wrestler Katsuyori Shibata. This winner will advance to the second round at Dream.4.

Bu Kyung Jung will return to action after his battles with top-3 lightweights Shinya Aoki and Mitsuhiro Ishida, taking on PRIDE Bushido veteran Daisuke Nakamura. Though Jung was defeated in his first two MMA fights, he nearly submitted Aoki twice - an unheard-of feat - and battled valiantly against Ishida.

Takeshi Yamazaki, a veteran of Shooto and DEEP, is also expected to compete on the card, against an opponent to be determined soon.
